The room was very nice though compact like most European Hotels. Staff at the front desk were pleasnt and helpful answering any questions we asked. The cleaning staff were very discreet and the hotel was very clean. Location was convenient to walk everywhere in Prague. We were travelling with another couple and I had requested rooms that were close. We had rooms next to each other. The brekafast in the rmoning was excellent. Lots of choice in both hot and cold items. I think it was excellent quailty for the money we paid

Very warm welcome on arrival. Rooms were good and comfortable with everything you would need - top floor facing the square so some noise but then that was to be expected so not disappointed by that. We booked a table in the hotel rest the 1st night and all 4 of us enjoyed the food and service - great to sit outside and enjoy good food and drink. Reception helped us chose where we could eat the following nights and they booked excellent tables at each of the rests we ask for. Good advice offered regarding taxi's too! We had brilliant weather whilst in Prague and thoroughly enjoyed the city. Def go back to Hotel Jalta

The hotel is absolutely did not like. It all began with the arrival, we were met by surly girl at the reception desk of Martina, who said that the hotel does not have empty rooms, need to wait, even though the time was 13:30. I was a newbornbaby, who had to feed, but she did not offer me the options, such as feed in a restaurant or at least help with a suitcase. When I booked through the site www.booking.com I asked to put a cot in the room and a chair for feeding, and also I have to pay extra for views over Václavské náměstí , these requirements are not satisfied . I was given a dirty room overlooking the courtyard. I had noisy neighbors who did not let us sleep, the doors are slammed during all nights. I took an extra room, but every time I check out of the room and lost my stuff, because they threw a cleaner. All the rooms are not cleaned, not vacuuming,of bath accessories, I was just shampoo and shower gel. And at the end of my stay I was accused of stealing a bathrobe!! I was literally dragged out of a taxi and told to pay, but when I came into the room and showed that this robe hanging on a hanger, I did not want to hear excuses from your staff, I would quickly leave the Hotel Yalta!! I often go to Prague, it was the worst hotel in my life, and manager Martina I would definitely fired for their attitude towards customers!

I just loved my view of the Square. Hotel Staff was always able to give me direction to any of the location I needed to get to. I didn't like the un-friendly staff at the restaurant. On two different occasions I felt disrespected. Hotel is great, but I do not recommend setting foot in the restaurant, if you chose to please be in 5 star attire or you might get told something about the clothing your wearing. I was well aware that I was in a five star hotel since I paid the price and I believe I should get to wear what ever I felt comfortable in.

Location was close to main train station, trams and underground as well as walking distance (10 - 15 mins) to Old Town, Charles Bridge etc. Lots of shops and restaurants to choose from. Staff were unfailingly polite and helpful in booking tours. Como restaurant breakfast was fabulous.

The hotel is in a very convenient location. Near the metro stations (Museum and Mustek) in front the Wenceslas Square at which many rooms have view. Staff at the reception is helpful and friendly. The rooms are spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable and the room had a flat tv with many channels and pay tv. The room has plenty of storage for the luggage and clothes and a safe box. Products l’occitane at the bathroom were refilled every day. The room also has a mini bar with pay products. The area of the hotel is safe even at night. The breakfast is a nice buffet with very good quality and products. The hotel is about 10 minute walk to the Astronomical clock and about 10-15 minutes to the main shopping street. Internet wifi connection is good and no password needed. The hotel is not a 5 star hotel as mentioned at Booking.com but a good 4 star hotel. Paul at the reception is a very helpful and polite guy. We had no problem with our reservation through Booking. They gave us the proper room according to our reservation and with the prize mentioned at our reservation. In the elevator you have to use your room card in order to go up and this seems safe to me. I will recommend the hotel dispite some improvements needed. The cleaning staff room service makes a lot of noise early in the morning and you can hardly sleep. The staff at the breakfast area is not friendly and polite, someone should have taken their smile out of their faces. When you say to them “goodmorning” they never reply!! Even if they may not know English should learn how to reply on this. I have stayed at 4th floor but i could lightly hear the noise from the street and the cars. At breakfast there are no choices for coffee, you can only drink black coffee which is also bad tasted. You also have the chance to drink hot chocolate which is also not good tasted. You also do not have the opportunity to order an espresso or a cappuccino during your breakfast. The a/c at the room was not working correctly. The reception area is very poor. There is no lounge area; there is the reception, some couches, a table in the front with a pc and nothing else. The reception should be more decorated for a 4 star hotel with flowers, carpets, more couches with tables in the middle etc. The reception desk looks like a 3 star hotel. In order to go to the wc at the lobby you have to pass through the restaurant (Combo) and the condition of them was awful. Not clean floor and in bad condition. Very poor for a 4 star hotel, they look like a 2 star hotel or mainly like good public toilets !!

Staff at the reception were very kind and helpful Very old towels. Noise from the shower of the neighbors. Torn bed sheets. Bad lighting inside the room. Bathroom is not in a good condition. Can't control the heating in the room. It is far away from being a 5 stars hotel. Bottom line don't waste your money.

Hotel's furniture is old fashioned,it could be better than this, that's all.

I really liked the Jalta. The architecture of the building is superb, the decor lovely. Location very good, not much noise from Wencelas Square other than a bit from the traffic. The staff were excellent, friendly and very helpful. The room was a nice size again lovely tasteful and modern well kept decor. Lovely balcony over looking the square. Flat screen tv with good selection of channels and pay per view films. Bathroom well equipped with l'occitane shampoo, bubble bath, lotion and soap. Lots of hot water for a bath. Plenty of storage for clothes. Beds very comfortable. Stocked Fridge and free safe. Breakfast excellent with lots of choice, cooked full english, every cheese and cooked meat of choice, various breads, fruit salad etc. There were only two things that irritated me and they were minor. The shower was too cluttered and small. The doors to the rooms banged all the time. No matter how hard you tried to close them. With guests coming and going and maids cleaning, the doors banged all the time.
