The location is sooo central to everything but quiet and peaceful- an amazing combination!!! Standa , the young man who welcomed us was soo good and kind- big thanks to him!
Liked it all!
Located at the foot of Charles Bridge. Easy walk to Prague Old Town. Restaurants on our doorstep. Safe and cheerful area. Great walks and parks nearby. Next to John Lennon Pub and Wall. Breakfast on the canal at rear. Simple breakfast, tasty and well served.
No air-conditioning. Original bed quite uncomfortable. Staff couldn't have been more helpful with room change. Original room very small.
- great location, 2 minutes walk from Charles Bridge - Good breakfast, clean room -excellent value for money - parking place 20EUR/night but in front of the hotel, needs reservation
- no air conditioning in the room, can be stuffy in the summer - water pressure is low
Great location, very central but quiet. Nice breakfast terrace overlooking the river. Young and friendly staff.
charming place, location and atmosphere
Fantastic location, friendly, very polite and helpful staff.
We thought after a long day sightseeing it would have been nice to relax in a bar or lounge instead of going to our room, facilities advises of a bar which in fact was just order a can of beer or drink from reception
The location of the hotel is excellent.breakfast was good.we got champagne for birthday.we had a nice view to the chanel.
The room does not exactly look like as it was showen on the net. But it is not a real negative thing.
Staff beautiful and friendly - very nice room, great location and wonderful trip
Stan, at the reception desk was excellent. He was extremely helpful, quick to respond to e-mails and provided suggestions that were right on. Misha was also very good. Breakfast was delicious and the hotel location was convenient to everything. Good value.
For breakfast, hot cereal like oatmeal would have been a welcome addition. Rooms needed some updating.
The staff and the location are great!
Ten days in this hotel. The staff a remarkable team, from the ladies in the breakfast room to the bedroom cleaners, and a reception team as good as any you could hope to encounter. Here is a team that can combine professional, informal, friendly and helpful in one package - even after a 12-hour night shift. We were here to sing, enjoy the city, eat and sleep - all of which we did in abundance. The first impression of "tired decor" paled into insignificance in the light of all the other positives about this hotel. Quiet, very best location, comfortable, clean and welcoming. A great thanks to all the staff who made our stay so enjoyable.
Perfect location just off Charles Bridge but peaceful and quiet away from the noise of the town centre. The breakfast was very good and lots of it and also tea making facilities in our room. It was our wedding anniversary and the manager presented us with a bottle of sparkling wine on our arrival which was lovely - thank you! The staff were very helpful and spoke excellent English. The ladyon the desk looked up specialist shops on google for us plus we could leave our luggage safely locked up until we had to leave in the evening despite check out at 11am. I would recommend this hotel for a trip to Prague.
My husband said his bed was a bit lumpy and also there was the occasional drainy smell in the bathroom but we noticed this in the town as well so probably not the hotel's fault.
The hotel staff was extremely helpful and always friendly. They are definitely a huge plus for this hotel.
Not spectacular, but a very nice hotel indeed, the location is fantastic, central but very quiet, the staff extremely friendly and helpful, breakfast good except...
... the only real deficit, unfortunately for us an important one - the coffee for breakfast is awful.
Location was wonderful - close to the Charles Bridge and bustle of the Old town, but a lovely escape from all that at the end of the day. Staff very friendly. Room was comfortable and spacious.
The fact that coffee and tea packets weren't replenished every day. Although they did waive the charge for them when I asked for more.
The location of Kampa Garden Hotel is excellent!!! Close to good restaurants and attractions. The staff is very friendly and helpful (thanks Daniela and Natalia for the tips and the attention!!!). Good cost-benefit!
The shower in our bathroom was unstable (heating or cooling too much).
My room in the top floor was very warm at night. I got a fan on the last night; should have requested for it much earlier. When I opened the windows in the night, lots of insects came in.
Position assistance given by friendly helpfull staff made us feel very welcome .Very quiet position.
Pillows and no top sheet on bed only doona
I liked the atmosphere of the hotel. The staff was really friendly and helpful, especially receptionists. My room was very clean and warm, even though it was the end of March (warm days) and they could stop heating up rooms at that time. Internet was working very well and breakfast was plentiful. The great advantage of the hotel is its location as it is very close to the Charles Bridge but at the same time the surrounding is very peaceful so you can have a good night's sleep. Just be prepared that it might me a bit difficult to get to the place for the first time:) I definitely recommend the place!!!
Location and size of room were absolutely great. The staff were helpful to a degree but only within their ability. I had mentioned the hard mattress and it was clear there was nothing to be done about it. The staff at breakfast were excellent and continually replenished as long as there was someone in the breakfast room. even when breakfast should have finished.
The bed was really hard and with a back and neck problem, I was in pain for much of our stay, due to no 'give' in the mattress. The curtains were unlined and light came in from the lamp right outside the window. One big lumpy pillow and a thin polyester duvet didn't help the issue. Eventually requested another duvet to put on the mattress to soften it but that just made the bed extremely hot. The room was very basic and for the price, I would have liked the tea, sugar and coffee to be replenished free of charge, rather than having to request this at reception and charged for the privilege. No milk provided. When cups and saucers used in the bedroom, omitted to wash these when room made up.
Location quieter than other side of river but all parts of Prague easily reachable by walking or tram
Great location! All main sights are just few minutes walk, and very quit place. Friendly and supportive staff. All what you need ( some as teapot, hair dryer, flippers, mini bar ) are in the room.
Nothing, everything was excellent !
The staff, especially at the reception are very helpful and very nice. I really enjoy being there.
Location is very nice and in between of main attrqction sites of both riversides. Staff very friendly and helpful. Shoe sponges in the room.
