Quiet location, 10 min walk to Charles Bridge, excellent buffet breakfast.
Room and bed was exellent very clean a very good breakfast.
Very small tv on room noisy around the hotel staff not very friendly never get the change back closed restaurant very early and bar aswell. As a guest we meet hotel staff twice in opposite bar through teir shift drink a beer.
cramped bathroom no toothpaste in "bathroom kit" I expected more from a 4 star hotel
Very good breakfast in a historic room with a piano player! Smaller room felt spacious due to good design and lovely furniture. Location in Lesser Town is close to everything.
Location is perfect, near every important attractions, but still quiet; Friendly staff; diverse breakfast.
the free wifi is not good enough, have to reconnect every 5 minutes; the heating doest not work very well, my room was even colder than the hallway.
Well located, close to Charles Bridge. Not in such a crowded area with good breakfast and friendly staff
Location is fantastic and quiet, close to the river and Charles Bridge. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The facilities are great and breakfast selection is huge! Couldn't have wished for more… We had such a great time.
Wish we could have stayed longer..
Great location. Friendly staff and quirky hotel
This hotel has a quiet and central location. The rooms are clean and comfortable with a high standard. The staff are first class and very helpful. Breakfast is good but the hot food needs a bit better level.
Nothing much. The beds are a little to hard for my liking.
We were here for a big function in the Knights' Hall, and stayed a few extra nights. The public rooms were ideal for the party - and we had a great time. Food was good for the main event, and also plenty of variety at breakfast. Room and bathroom were pretty good, if and the building is very solid and thus pretty quiet. Location is in a quiet part of Mala Strana, but Charles Bridge is five minutes away on foot, and Petřin funicular slightly closer. Staff very attentive, too
Can't think of any dislikes, although some might wish for slightly brighter décor in corridor areas, but everything was clean and tidy.
In addition to the above ratings, the breakfast was superb. We also enjoyed the luxury of freshly laundered towels every day.
The enormous bed was possibly just a little too hard.
great location,design of enteriere
Superb dining hall and breakfast accompanied by live piano playing. Very good value for money and a great hotel. I'll be back!!
Great location, tasteful breakfast. Friendly stuff
location, facilities and parking
The location with access directly onto Kampa Park and a few minutes from the Charles bridge. Also conveniently situated for trams into the Malastranska and Narodni. The unusual dining room with its selection of armoury provides a spacious and airy space. The selection of food for breakfast and the quality of the food was excellent especially the roasted bacon. It was very quiet and the staff maintained a calm and polite presence.
There were no tea cups provided at breakfast, only small coffee cups so it was not possible to make a good-size cup of breakfast tea! The Hotel could make a saving on their tea-bag consumption if they invested in some decent-size teas cups! Some of the wiring in the room was very amateur-looking (extension cables draped round the floor and one of the sockets was loose.)The soft furnishings, although in keeping with the Castle theme of the Hotel, had seen better days. However, it was excellent value for money and we would stay there again.
Location, price, bed
Noise from hallway, maids chatting in the hall in the morning (from as soon as 6.30am), smell of cigarette smoke in the room from bathroom ventilation
Fantastic breakfast, nice location and very nice people working in the hotel.
Reception..very old and tired..give it a bit of facelift. My first impression was why the hell did i book this place and the reception looks made it worse.
Breakfast awesome Location Parking
- the hotel is very close to the main attractions of the City - the staff is helpful and friendly - the breakfast is absolutely above our expectations - the old building has a special atmosphere that we liked - not cheap, but safe parking lot for many cars
- the lobby where you arrive is very small; so is the reception desk - one (small) elevator is not enough for that many rooms and levels
Excellent location with restaurants nearby. Breakfast at hotel was very good
Do not request or accept two single beds in room. Very uncomfortable and room is small. Hot water heating and no AC made the room noisy and less than ideal
room size, great location, breakfast variety, helpful staff
Ensuite on the small side
