This guesthouse is peacefully situated amidst a beautiful natural environment, in the middle of a forest and near the Otava River on the border of the Sumava National Park.

Klastersky Mlyn provides plenty of opportunity for active leisure as the area is popular for its winter sports. A ten minute ride takes you to the ski resort of Kaspersky Hory, where you can ski and board to your heart’s content. Go cross country skiing amidst the wonderful nature of the Bohemian woods. Slopes await you in Kvilda, a 20 minute ride away, and for the more experienced skiers there is Zelezna Ruda.

There is no need to even leave the hotel complex as it houses various facilities such as a tennis court, fitness room and a health centre. The hotel also offers a relaxing garden, bicycle hire and a minivan to serve you during your cycling or skiing trips. Enjoy the sporting activities, explore the natural beauty and experience the stunning views that characterise this region.

Room information

This warmly decorated pension consists of 15 rooms and 3 apartments, of which there are 2 rooms that are suitable for disabled people. The layout comprises of one double room and one triple room for disabled people on the ground floor, 3 double rooms, one triple room and 3 quadruple rooms on the first floor and 3 double rooms, 2 triple rooms and one quadruple room on the second floor. The 3 apartments house 4 people.

Area information

Several ancient buildings and castles can be found in close proximity to the hotel. The world-famous Bohemian glass is produced in nearby factories, which can be visited along with various museums. Prague is one and a half hours away or in the other direction, a half hour ride brings you to the Austrian city of Linz and the German city of Regensburg. In-between those two cities you will find the German and Austrian border town of Passau. If you prefer to stay in the Czech Republic, Lake Lipno is definitely worth a visit and is an hour’s ride away.

For cyclists or hikers, there is the Sumava nature reserve. Enjoy the sea of flowers in spring, the trees’ marvellous colours in autumn or go mushroom hunting, a must for real nature lovers.

Anonymous Group United Kingdom June 10, 2009	clean and comfortable, friendly relaxed staff, lovely surroundings, both food and accommodation good value; it was better than it looked on the internet adn they may want to update photos asked for 7.30 breakfast as needed to get away but this did not happen till 8.45; that was all, the staff were otherwise very accommodating and nice. A kettle in the room would have been appreciated	8

Tijdens de voorjaarsvakantie een nacht overnacht en er waren slechts twee kamers bezet. Het eten was ook erg lekker. Let op. In de naam zit Klášterský maar het is niet in Klášterský Horn maar in Rejštejn (plaatsje er vlak bij).	8.5

Patikoimaan pääsi halutetessaan upeisiin maisemiin luonnonpuistoon jonka suulla hotelli sijaitsi. Henkilökunta oli paikalla kun tarvittiin, muutoin saatiin olla omassa rauhassa. Omistaja (?) puhui sujuvasti useita kieliä, ehdottomasti plussaa. Opastusta perille voisi ehkä parantaa, ainakaan varausjärjestelmän kautta ei saanut kunnollista ohjetta kuin ehkä Saksan suunnasta tullessa. Muitakin ilmansuuntia on. Viitoitus perille oli aika heikkoa ja varsinkin pimeän aikaan taitaisi paikka jäädä löytämättä.	9.5
