Score from 232 reviews Excellent 8.7/10
The location is excellent. Walkable distance from the Student Agency Bus drop off point.
The reception was not 24/7. The street was noisy but that is the charm of the Cesky Krumlov.
The rooms are spacious and despite being in the summer, the rooms are cooling . Location is superb, 2 min stroll to the main square.
The cobbled stones path leading to the apartment maybe an issue with huge luggages
Hotel is right next to the centre of town so it is easy to get everywhere
I was given a room in the back of the building and I needed to walk downhill , along the cobble-stone alley to get there. It is very tricky if you have large suitcase. The breakfast is pretty basic and wifi does not work in the room.
Great location close to town; Great terrace with open view to the castle; Great restaurant; Good variety for breakfast Family run hotel with nice staff, great value
Yummy breakfast best we had ,terrace to sit out on and have dinner and drinks friendly service nothing to fault except that we were only there two nights and could have stayed a month. Thank you for being the hotel highlight of our 5 week journey.
The staff and my accomodation
Everything was fine
We spent 4 days here touring the town & day tripping the area. The Hotel is conveniently located to everything in the city but is set just off the main tourist congestion areas so it is quiet. The restaurant is excellent; reserve a table on the patio with a stunning view of the Castle, just perfect.
Location is great , 100m to center of town and 150 m to the platform to see old castle. breakfast is rich , many choice. staff is helpful to provide everything.
WIFI is not stable, hotel informs the reason because the old building with 1m thick wall.
It is located not far from the entrance of the old town as well as the main square. Good for the luggage because it is not easy to drag the luggage through the old stone road. Just 10 min to the bus station. Good breakfast and stable wifi connection. The staff is helpful. Great place to stay in CK.
It's right in the middle of the village, with easy access to everything, plus it has a really nice restaurant and breakfast selection. Each room was unique and makes you feel like you are back in history with a modern feel.
Great location, view of the castle out window. Staff was 1st class. We would stay here again without a doubt.
Disappointed with dinner, my crepe was burned
The hotel location is excellent, especially if you are walking from the bus stop to the hotel with luggage. It is off the main road in the historic part of town. The room was huge and the bathroom was more than adequate. We spent two nights there and enjoyed walking around the town from there and everywhere was a fairly short walk, Also, just a few shops away from the hotel there is a little park that we could walk to and take pictures of the castle. That was a really nice thing to do especially at night when the day trippers were gone. The last day as we waited for our ride to Salzburg, we sat in the park and just enjoyed people watching and the fresh air.
It took a little while for the heater to warm up the room. Also, during my shower, the water went cold and didn't warm back up. By the time my husband went it, if was fine.
Lovely, somewhat quaint hotel in a great location. Nice big room with lovely soft bed. A short walk from the 2nd bus stop if you are coming from Prague on the Student Agency bus which is highly recommended.
We were travelling with 1 couple and 1.5 years old and booked 2 rooms. Both rooms were large and clean. They were bit out-dated but I think it is due to the age of the building and historic aspect of it. The receptionist was very wonderful, provide suggestion on places, restaurant, etc. The location was perfect, close to everything. We had breakfast in the terrace and the view was awesome.
We traveled by car and unfortunately the parking space was pretty far from the hotel.
Staffs are very friendly and provide a lot of helps and advices. The room is quite big and comfortable. Breakfast is also impressive.
The room was pretty large and comfortable - with a touch of antiquity. The view from our room was that of the castle tower.
The rooms should be equipped with airconditioning or at least fans.
Location is great.
Manager is a beautiful, friendly woman. She is so young that we can not believe she have two children.
Very friendly staff. Unique historic building. Perfect location. The room had low doors and curved ceilings - Very neat!!
lots of stairs (did not bother us one bit but it could be a problem for someone with low mobility)
i would recommend this hotel to anybody else
- The location: right in the centre of the town in the proximity of allthe sights and restaurants. - Big and charming room.
- Because it is located in the centre of the town and in the pedestrian zone, the parking is not very near, but you can stop in front of the hotel and transfer the luggage in your room.
Easy to find nice and comfort to stay.
