Personnel is helpful, location is relatively close to metro (5-10 mins walk) Rooms are old, furniture is in bad condition, carpet is weary. The pictures of the hotel do not correspond to the reality - hotel looks way much better on them (thanks to photoshop I guess). When we booked double, the room they put us in was much smaller than on the picture and it did not have table, chairs etc. tv remote was broken... We had to argue with the manager to put us in the better room, and to their honor, they did it next day. Breakfast was ugly, no cereal, only corn flakes.. No scrambled eggs, just boiled.. And one day they didnt have even boiled eggs, b/se the provider hadnt bring them! One more thing, be aware it doesnt have air condition, only fan.. Could be very hot in summer. Not a 4 star hotel, 3 at a max

I totally recommend this hotel! The localization is great. Just 20 minutes walk from the city centre. The stuff speaks very good english and the whole atmosphere was nice. We've paid only 38 Euro for the night with breakfast included so in comparison with prices of other hotels, wow! The room was clean and quiet so you could take a good rest after all day of sightseeing. The breakfast was tasty and you can have it from 6.30 till 10.30. I know that we could have a more expensive hotel with much worse conditions so great value for money! Well, I have to admit that despite all pros that this hotel has, our bathroom wasn't clear in 100%. But we've checked in a liitle bit earlier maybe that's way. Still it was only one night so we forgive them.

It was very nice staying in that hotel even all the staf was very helpfull. The rooms enough space, clean. From the hotel to center was not so far 15 minutes by walk. I will recomanded this hotel in my oppinion very good. The the enternet was very very slow that it will makes you very nervous waiting. The resturante in the evening was very bad you should go 300 meters to find a resturante. The parkinbg we did not like it because our car was out side, next to the hotel and there was an accident next to our car !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice old building Advertised as a four star, more like 2 stars. Very nosiy and seems more like a backpackers. Pillow was non-existant, and was unable to get an extra. Breakfast was the worst, bad food, could only eat cornflakes, tried to get toast but only a 2-slice toaster to share for the entire hotel so a big wait.

Staff was friendly and very helpful. Hotel was in superb location and room was big. It didnt looked like a 4**** hotel.it wasnt luxurious as I expected and room was very plain.there was a huge stain in the couch and tv had only two channels both in czech.it was quite noisy since it was on the street side and there was no air-condition!

The hotel offered breakfast with the room rental that was a hearty European spread. The hotel also offered secured parking for a reasonable daily rate. The beds weren't very comfortable which is pretty typical of a lot of European hotels. The walls were very thin as well and our neighbors were very loud.

It was clean. Rooms were great very good facilities and would have been perfect but ! See under. It was Full of very, very noisy youths from school trips so it was impossible to sleep ! Also went down to breakfast and could not get in because of the same youths. No tables, no plates or food !! Do they want to turn it into a glorified hostel or what ? Would be no good for anyone over 18 and that is a terrible shame as it is a lovely hotel. Yours faithfully, Roy Jack.

Price was great! The room (family room) was a good size, but beware that it is 2 floors, and there is only 1 small tv with 2 channels in english (bbc News and euro Sports) Breakfast buffet was decent. Staff were friendly enough. Parking - They say there is parking, but its a very small spot to fit your car through, too tiny for anything bigger than a Volkswagen Golf. 20 minute walk to the closest public transportation (ip Pavlova Metro Station) which is where you can buy your day passes at (110 kc) Dinner at the restaurant was very good but also pretty expensive. There is no window covering blocking the skylight right over the bed, so you get sun right in your face really early in the morning. Walls are really thin too and I could hear people from the hallway as well as the rooms next to us. Also, this is probably a 2** hotel, as I have stayed in 3 and 4 stars and this one is not comparable to them.

Although the hotel is about 10 minutes from the tube station getting there was very easy. The female receptionist was very knowledgable and spoke very good english. Room 504 where we stayed has a skylight window where you can watch the stars at night whilst in bed. There was a cot for our daughter provided free of charge andplenty of room for us 3 adults. The hotel appeared very accomodating to our needs, giving us an early morning wake up call and allowing my wife and daughte to stay in the room whilst I took my mother to the airport. All in all vey enjoyable experience and when next in prague will not hesetate to see if we can stay there again. Large variety for breakfast.

Location was good, was near the metro. Plus u could easily walk into town When it came to cleaning our room all they really seemed to do was make the bed, poorley.. Few times didnt even replace our towel. Our room was on the first floor and the noise was ridiculous. Could here every1 who walked past.. Was very loud and echoed.

Not far from the metro station, which is in its turn, not far from the central city area old hotel, old furniture, bathroom is so-so, a way far from stated 4 star hotel, maximum 3 stars, breakfast is far from good as well - in a juice machine they are using Zuko or Yupi or smth of a kind - this fact speaks for itself...

“I would have been crazy not to stay here.I was told Prague is a 'must see' and they were so right. I chose this hotel blind with no prior knowledge of Prague. Amigo is very good value, it's spotless, well appointed (the bathroom was almost as big as the bedroom in my Paris Hotel) breakfast is excellent and the staff are wonderful - friendly and so helpful. I enjoyed the 10 minute walk to and from Wenceslas Square. It was recently refurbished and the sensible thing by management was to ensure staff were trained to an optimum level. Amigo and staff capped off a fabulous stay.” Evangelos, Helensvale |
