Maximilian Hotel

The staff was absolutely wonderful. So friendly and professional. The room was really nice, too - comfy beds, spacious, etc. It was also located next to some great restaurants - La Degustacion and the Red Wheel (behind the other side of the church). I don't know the Czech. name for the Red Wheel one, but there's a red wheel hanging on the corner. Avoid Chagall's on the walk to the Astronomical Clock. Setting is pretty, but the food sucked. The location was also fabulous - nice and quiet but no more than a 5 minute walk to Old Town Square and the Astronomical Clock. I also loved that this hotel gave you a goldfish for your room if you missed your pet. How cute!

The first night of our stay was 180 euros. This was the most expensive we'd paid for a hotel, and it was definitely not worth it. After that, our rate dropped to 95 euros. I would have comfortably paid up to about 120-130 euros for this place, but not 180. Definitely not worth it at that price. So, I'd fully recommend this place as long as the price wasn't at 180.

Rooms are comfortable and well equipped. Wireless internet worked well and there was a wired connection in the room. Complementary tea and coffee always on offer is a nice touch. Great breakfast with a large buffet selection and the option to have cooked items as well.

Hotel staff have to be more detailed in the explanations especially during the check in procedure.

Great location in the very center of the old town - 5 min walk to the Staroměstské náměstí, on the one hand, on the other hand it's located in a quiet street, so no crowds of tourists outside. A very comfortable and clean room with everything a guest can need, a spacious bathroom, free internet connection, slippers and bathrobes and all the equipment listed in the room description. They even have a Russian channel on TV. A wide choice of food for breakfast - excellent breakfast. I'd recommend this hotel to all travellers who would like to explore Prague.

Large comfortable rooms. The aircon was great as temperature hit 37c during our stay.

We loved Maximilian Hotel! The location is superb, the staff is helpful and our room was gorgeous! We booked a deluxe double room, but they up- graded us to a superior deluxe double room free of charge! The room was clean, comfortable and I loved the warm colours! We also had a brand new Nespresso machine - loved the coffee in the morning! The breakfast was delicious - pancakes and omlettes are a must. The coolest thing was that we could have breakfast till 12,30, so we had the chance to sleep late on Saturday after a long trip! Honestly, one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at! Two thumbs up!

The hotel has an excellent location and a really unique features. I loved the Honesty Bar and Water Tasting, and the breakfast menu was great.

je verwacht niet dat een superior de luxe room op de 6e etage (room 647) ligt waar je zelf de laatste etage je koffers moet sjouwen.Je verwacht tevens niet dat er een rioollucht in de kamer hangt.

Een geweldig uitgebreid ontbijt, in het weekend tot half een 's middags, dus ook lekker voor de uitslapers :) Heel vriendelijk personeel, mooie kamers, gratis WiFi op de kamer, lekkere verzorgingsproducten in de badkamer en goede airco.
