The location was fantastic, just minutes away from all the main sights and not a lot of traffic racing by. The breakfasts were good and the room although small was well designed and comfortable. Excellent shower and comfortable bed. Nothing to complain about

The staff were really friendly. The rooms were clean and had cool carpet and comfortable beds. Right in the heart of the city. I would recommend this hotel to anybody who wants a luxury hotel for a reasonable price.

Location is really very good, between Old City and New City. Good for city trip and business. Poor breakfast. Good value for money if you consider the room's space and facilities and the hotel lication. Poor breakfast.

Great location. Fabulous restaurant nearby (Le Patio) and also close to several trams. Some of the reception staff were quite rude. There is only 1 lift, so in peak times it is hard to get to/from your room. No wifi in rooms.

The welcome was very warm ... and generally the reception staff were pleasant and friendly. Whilst compact the room was very well appointed and had everything we needed ... including fast internet (cable). The location was brilliant ... everything within easy walking distance. It's no big deal, but I would have liked free wireless access in the room instead of having to hook up the iPad/iPhone in the reception area where it was free. Again, no big deal, but when we ordered (and paid for) tea/coffee downstairs, he could have told us it was help-yourself free just 3 metres away!

The hotel is new, not an adapted old house, and this makes a difference. It's location is simply perfect, near all the attractions and a footstep from metrostation. They could provide free wifi to the guests at the rooms. Why not?

I paid an extra 30 Euros to have a city view on one of the upper floor which was totally worth it. Room was really clean. Staff very helpful. The room didn't seem to cool down even with the air conditioning on.. But that was the only issue I had.

Second time that i stayed at this hotel, was every bit as good as the first one. Hotel is perfectly situated in the center, 5 minutes walking distance to anywhere and everything! Decent breakfast, clean rooms, comfy bed and nice touch with a "curtain" doubling as a closet. Although a bit expensive best rooms are 808-807 cause of the BREATHTAKING view of the old town square and a bit of the castle. If you can afford the price don't settle for anything else. Although the hotel has almost everything anyone may need especially for a city break, 450 euros for 3 days are a little expensive especially considering the value of the czech krown compared to the euro! Rooms, common areas, and breakfast are always in top shape but the only definite negative is the lack of wifi in the rooms. Although a landline is available for internet broadband connection (and not chargable of course) in almost 2013 but hostels provide wifi it is a shame for this hotel not to have one in the rooms

We enjoyed our visit to Prague and especially staying at the Metropol. made it very easy to visit the best parts of the city by walking. Very convenient, delicious breakfast, friendly staff, clean and comfortable room. On the small size but a good value for the money given the location. I would stay there again. The shower stall doors don't quite close all the way so there can be some water on the floor---but not a big deal at all!!

Perfect location - central to everything, but quiet. Excellent buffet breakfast - even when we got up very late! Nothing serious - Bland interior. No view from our rear bedroom. Room rather cramped.
