Hotel Modra ruze  

Very convenient to Old Town

This might apply to all Prague hotels, but I was surprised at the lack of fire escape information, especially as the next door premises sem to be undergoing some form of demolition or refurbishment. It wold be nice if Booking.com could watch this point, please.

Excellent location. Room was spacious and very clean.

the hotel 's location is excellent. The place is quiet although very central. The staff is very friendly doing its best to please the customers. Brekfast is very good. Our room on the third floor was very big and comfortable. if we go to Prague again, we'll probably .stay there again

The T.V. offered very few channels.

Excellent presentation, lovely room. The staff were very helpful. The hotel is in a very good position to walk to all the tourist attractions and the rates were very reasonable for such good quality. We would not hesitate to use the Modra Ruze again should we go back to Prague.

We really didn't have any complaints.

The staffs in the morning shift are very warm and friendly to advise us some attractions. The room is very quiet and we had a very good rest after walking whole day. The location is excellent, majority of the attractions can be reached by foot and train, tube stations are in 2 min. walking distance.

The hotel advertises they have WiFi facility. During our 3 nights stay (27/3-30/3,2012) we could use WiFi at the first 2 nights (Apple iPad and iPhone). But on the 3rd night, the WiFi signal disappeared. We came down to the front desk, the guy said we should use the WiFi Router at our room but they don't have any WiFi Router left at that night. Apparently we had been using the WiFi signal from other room for 2 nights and they checked out. The hotel should offer us automatically if we need WiFi router when we checked in. Because smart phone, iPhone, iPad are so popular now. (Also another lady came down for the same problem when I was at the front desk).

The quality of their cooking at breakfast was not great (the eggs)

The over all experience is perfect concerning location, cost of stay and the friendly of the reception staff. All what you need for a business or leisure is there. This hotel will be always my choice in Prague.

Clean building and room, friendly atmosphere, superb location. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great (but to have it finished at 10am even Sundays is imho not the most convenient service in a city that many visit for its night-life…)

Hopelessly overpriced: 99 eur for a (comfortable but) simple, single-bed room under the roof! As opposed to the description here, there is NO WIFI in the rooms, just at the reception. Only when insisting on this, was I provided with a wireless router.

Great location

New facility in old fashion building.

Perfect location for our use. In the centre, but not on the main roads/squares, so relatively quiet. Easy access from public transport and to the main tourist attractions. Will visit again.

Decor was a bit old fashioned, but it was clean and very comfortable. Staff, particularly the receptionist, were excellent: very helpful and friendly.
