Close to the city centre, easy to find, close to main routes. Breakfast was good and the hotel was very clean. Woken up both nights by rowdy parties going past the hotel. Air conditioning did not work

Really large and comfortable room with big beds. Got a bathtub in the room as requested. Good breakfast. Easy walk to all main sights. No bottle opener in room. Deluxe room - seating area is not lit up well by the lights, so had to move the table to the bed area.

Clean building and room, friendly atmosphere, superb location. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great (but to have it finished at 10am even Sundays is imho not the most convenient service in a city that many visit for its night-life…) Hopelessly overpriced: 99 eur for a (comfortable but) simple, single-bed room under the roof! As opposed to the description here, there is NO WIFI in the rooms, just at the reception. Only when insisting on this, was I provided with a wireless router.

Large comfortable deluxe room in excellent location for Old Town and Wencelas Square. Good breakfast and friendly helpful staff. We had a great time in Prague and would definitely stay here again. The soft pillows and the tea.

The Modra Ruze is in the heart of Prague. The staff is excellent, the rooms are comfortable and spotless, the breakfast is enjoyable and the location is perfect, steps from the Mustek subway station and right between the old town and Wenceslas Square. I won't stay anywhere else in Prague.

Perfect location for our use. In the centre, but not on the main roads/squares, so relatively quiet. Easy access from public transport and to the main tourist attractions. Will visit again. Decor was a bit old fashioned, but it was clean and very comfortable. Staff, particularly the receptionist, were excellent: very helpful and friendly.

Good central position for visiting all the tourist attractions of Prague, but in a quieter side street, away from the noise. There was nothing about the hotel to take exception to. It was very nice.

Location excellent The hotel is advertised as a 4 star hotel which is very misleading. The hotel is as best a 3 star hotel as it has no room service,rooms without airconditioning, 37cm tv's etc. So it is much cheaper compared to other 4 star hotels because it is not a 4 star hotel
