Hotel Modrá Růže **** (The Blue Rose) is comfortably located in the very heart of Prague between the Wenceslas Square and the historical Old Town Square, in the close vicinity of the Estates Theatre, surrounded by shops and luxurious boutiques.

The hotel is located in a five-storey historical building which has preserved its atmosphere and historical style. This applies from the Gothic cellars, where there is at present the Blue Rose Restaurant, up to the additional attics in the roof, where the rooms have a splendid view of Prague.

Sport centre with a swimming pool, sauna and weights room in the immediate vicinty is offering special rates for our hotel guests .

Food & beverage

Hotel guests can have a breakfast in our restaurant with the fireplace. The hotel has also day and night bars with a broad range of Moravian and foreign wines and a wide selection of spirits and mixed drinks. The clubroom, with a second fireplace, provides guests with a range of current periodicals and a quiet place for reading. The neighbouring room is equipped with a plasma screen with the possibility of satellite reception.

In the cellars of the building is a traditional luxury restaurant „U Modré růže“, which offers a wide range of meals from world cuisine and purely Czech dishes. Taste the best wines from the extensive wine list, and listen to intimate piano overtones.

Room information

Hotel Blue Rose offers some different types of rooms – from romantic attic rooms with a beautiful view over the historical Prague to splendidly furnished rooms with high ceilings. For clients with particularly high standards there is a “Presidential” apartment prepared in the hotel, which may include up to 5 rooms. In the apartment there are four bathrooms and two of them are equipped with a bath.

Two of the rooms have complete wheelchair access. There are three lifts for clients in the building. All the rooms have their own, social amenities, and in 19 rooms there is a bath.

Area information

Hotel Blue Rose is situated in the heart of the historical center of Prague, between Wenceslas Square and The Old Town square. Its location is ideal, within minimal walking distance of the main financial, business, and cultural destinations. Very close to the hotel you can also find the most famous Prague’s cultural attractions.

cleaning service

it is unbelievalbe that no Euro for change when we pay the bill in Euro. We have no choice but have to change smaller notes outside.

It is in the very heart of the city centre of Prague which makes it quite easy to access touristic and social amenities. The breakfast was truly excellent!

Price for a small dog 20 eur/day is terrible ! For what to pay this ?

I loved it. The location is perfect, 2 minutes to Mustek metro station , 5 minutes to the old town square and 5 minutes to Wenceslas square (where you find lots of restaurants). Lots of choices for the breakfast. Free high speed internet (with your own cable or borrow from them for a deposit of CK 100). There are a few stores in the area where you can buy water a lot cheaper than at eateries.

They close at 1 AM. However, we can ring the door bell and someone will open the door for us.
