Hotel Modra ruze    

Great Little Hotel. Good value, cofortable, quite and wonderful location. Staff was helpful. Great breakfast. Efficient faciliies and they all worked well. Close to all the Prage sites and transportation.

Larger shower.

The location of the hotel is excellent. You can go walking to the Old Town Square, Charles Bridge, & the Astronomical clock! The staff is friendly especially an employee called "Richard", he is excellent , helpful, and caring. Thank you Modra Ruze for such an employee!

Location was spot on, situated in the centre of Prague and within walking distance of both main attractions, restaurants and shops

Superb location within walking distance of most major attractions, good restaurants and bars nearby. The hotel isn't luxurious, but supplies every need you have as a base for touring the city.

We really didn't have anything to complain about. If pushed hard I would say the water pressure in the shower was a bit low.

Fantastic location and very reasonably priced.The room was large and spotlessly clean.The staff were very friendly and helpful and could speak English, which is a big help as I found their language very difficult.

The Location is Awesome, just right in the inner City of prague. Rooms were very clean and breakfast very Good. Hotel Bar had very Friendly Staff!

The only drawback giving some discomfort is absence of shower curtain in the bathroom, that is generally "compensated" by a quite poor water pressure in the shower tube itself.

The room was large and comfortable. The front desk staff was always friendly and helpful, and the breakfast included in the room had a wide selection.

The hotel is near a popular nightlife area, so sometimes it was a bit noisy outside while we were trying to sleep.

Location is brilliant for city trips. Only 300 meters to Astronomical Clock and the old town square. If you arrive by car - there is a parking place for it (for extra), but I highly recommend to add this to your booking since it's terrible situation with parking in Prague. I really enjoyed breakfast, because there was huge variety and food was tasty. All in all it's really good hotel.

This hotel is really close to the old town square so if your room have windows to the street (I presume especially during weekends) it may be a bit noisy (because of loud people out there). I missed some minor (?) things like bathrobe as well.

Smoking in coffee lounge adjacent to reception. This is a common problem to most cafe areas in Prague however.

Hotel Modra Rose is an excellent hotel in a really good location. Very comfortable, clean room, excellent breakfast and friendly, helpful staff. We were very happy with our choice.

I traveled alone and I felt very safe in the Modra Ruze. I was relieved to find that Reception spoke perfect English. The staff were very accommodating; I was also allowed to keep my car parked for a few hours extra while I shopped. When it was time to leave, someone graciously helped back out. Breakfast buffet had good variety and quality. But above all... your employees are the best feature.

It could have been a bit cleaner. I don't normally scrutinize rooms, but even I noticed that the curtains had some spots/stains and that the rug between the beds needed cleaning. While I never felt *dirty*, I did feel like the room could use some extra attention.

Secure parking because we had driven across Europe and did not want to empty the car every night. I would suggest this hotel to anyone going to Prague for the Christmas Markets. The location was excellent and would definately use it again.

The location, friendly staff, large room.

Location is excellent -- just a short walk to the Town Square. Breakfast buffet was nice. It's not a high end hotel, but is definitely a good value. Would stay there again.
