Fantastic hotel! Close to metro, very clean, helpful staff, incredible breakfast, and a modern facility. It really couldn't be better unless it was dropped right in the center of town. You won't go wrong staying here. Parking rates are too high.

Everything you would expect from a 4* hotel. Non touristy area, plenty of close by bars and restaurants. Only a 10 minute walk to the nearest metro, and then a 10 minute trip to the centre of the city.

Everything was OK. Nice employees, huge rooms, great breakfast even with an omelett station so we could get fresh omelettes every day. It is a little bit far from the city center, but the metro station is 5 minutes away and it takes another 5 minutes to ride to the town.

Staff at the hotel are friendly and provided a good level of service. The new Televisions in the rooms are good and have USB facilitites so you can see the pics taken during the day in Prague. There were no tea making facilities in the room just the new coffee machines. Free Wifi in the whole building would be GREAT.

Our executive room had a small patio which was a nice bonus as the weather was so good. The breakfast buffet had a really impressive selection of foods and a beautiful outside area to eat it. The gym was well equipped and the sauna and steam room were well maintained. The beds and pillows were cvery comfortable too. Having to take a cable car up to the executive part of the hotel was certainly unique but wouldn't be good for those with a fear of heights! The hotel was just a short walk from Andel that had lots of shops and resonable restaurants. It was only a few tram stops from there to the center of Prague and tickets were cheap to buy from the hotel reception. Having tea and coffee making facilities in the room would have been better than a coffee making pod machine in the room that you had to pay for. Also, it would have been nice to stay in the hotel for snacks and drinks but the prices were too expensive.

Staff was helpful, breakfast was very good, we booked with an option of getting a "better class" room if there is some available and indeed it was, so we've got executive room for 70EUR/night, including marvellous view over the city.

The family package included two large interconnecting rooms, perfect for our family of 4. Room rate included a fabulous buffet breakfast and rooms were located in executive building above the main hotel, with great views of Prague. Air con in our room was noisy even when we turned it off!

Very nice hotel, clean and exclusive, very polite and helpfull staff, perfect choice on breakfast and wonderfull view of city. Maybe it is time to enlarge restaurant room in the upper building (all hosts wake up and want to eat at the same time :) and also build new cable car to speed up transport time to upper building.

The rooms in the uphill section have good views and are quiet. You can tell the swiss touch in the organisation of the hotel. Good breakfast.Walking distance to a large mall where you can have good, inexpensive meals. The hotel is a bit far from the city centre, but easily accessible by Metro.

Executive rooms are nice and spacious, friendly staff, panoramic view over the city and a quiet place. Cable car connecting the two buildings of the hotel is intresting and is a pleasent experience. The hotel does not exactly have a parking of its own. However, there is an available garage right next to the hotel, but thet charge very high rates. The only valid option was parking on a nearby street.

I have stayed in the Movenpick Prague many times. It is all you would expect from this up market Swiss chain. The prague hotel is located in Smichov where there is shopping and entertainment centre as well as a major tram intersection and a metro station Andel (about 400 metres). In the majority of cases it is quicker to travel by metro to a customer than get a taxi. From the airport get a 1.1.1. taxi and you will get a 40% discount on the return journey. It can be better value booking a more expensive room which may come with free internet and access to the gym and sauna. There is a funicular railway up to the hilltop where the ex rooms are - great view. Try to avoid rooms ending in 3x (close to the high level main road close by. My room xx31 was at the left end of the hotel very close to the major raised level road. Try to avoid these.

The staff of the executive building are very friendly, all of them. I got an adaptor for my camera charger, and the concierge told me that the hotel would borrow me one , free or no charge if I give it back. When I checked out, I gave back the adaptor to the girl who was there , and the hotel still made me pay. Seriousness please.
