Location, location, location! Size of room.
Space - Large spacious room. Excelent service from staff. Great location on Town Square.
Bath tub - too deep - difficult to get into and out of. Shower was - hand held. More convenient, higher location of shower head within the bath tub is needed.
Excellent location. Awesome in room breakfast. Very nicely appointed and spacious room. Gorgeous bathroom. This hotel had the BEST Wifi service we had during our 2 and a half weeks in Europe in 7 different hotels! Very attentive and friendly staff. Petr at the desk was especially excellent. You really can't beat the location of this hotel. I highly recommend it!
I can only think of two things I didn't like. One, it was very expensive to stay at this hotel. For the most part it was due to us having our children in the room and having to pay an additional 80 Euro per night. For a regular couple it would definately be worth the price but it seemed excessive paying $900 USD for 2 nights. My only other disappointment was that we didn't have a room with a view of the square even after I was assured we would. I called almost 2 months in advance and requested one. A room with a view might have justified the price and made it absolutely perfect but we still enjoyed our stay.
Loved the location and the balcony in our room. It felt special. The staff were very helpful. We liked having breakfast in our room - That was a real treat.
The shower design was terrible! The water ran around the edge of the bathtub and poured onto the floor. There was no way to stop it.
Old Town Square
No elevator, many stairs - difficult with little children. No ventilation in the bathroom. Average minus breakfast. Very noisy from the tourists on the square
location location location personalized service
the shower hangs too low
Very comfortable, spacious room and bathroom with separate tub, shower and two sinks. Loved being in such a central location with no car traffic, close to almost all the sites of interest to us so could walk everywhere with ease. Staff couldn't do enough for us and Katarina's restaurant recommendations were excellent.
Although perfect for us, wouldn't recommend for those looking for a quiet weekend retreat as pedestrian streets around square busy into the night on weekends.
Excellent hotel, beautiful room, brilliant location. Staff helpful and friendly. Choice of hotel made our stay in Prague perfect.
Hotel was really nice. Rooms were spotless. Lovely large shower. Located right in the heart of the Old Town so perfect for sightseeing. Breakfast, which although was in the next door café (?) was really lovely.
We had to keep the windows closed due to the noise from the outside streets. However, this probably is something that all the hotels in the area will have a problem with.
Everything here is perfect. Staff are very professional and friendly.they are competent and consistent. Rooms are spotless. Location is perfect facing onto old square. Wifi throughout hotel. Showers really powerful. Perfect place to stay for sightseeing
The location and size of the rooms
The size of reception and common areas and the lack of facilities.
location is excellent. This hotel located in the famous park. It is easy to go the old mechanical clock, famous restaurant, some souvenir shop.
The shower over the bath was bad, because the water over flow the bath when we used the shower. The staff didn't inform about breakfast(when, where), how to use the room facility.
Location - on the Square, you can't get much closer. Plenty of room in the room. Bathroom modern, spacious with the best shower we have experienced in 3 months of travelling in Europe. Double bed excellent and the double glazed windows tried hard to keep street noise out. Wifi worked seamlessly for all our devices. Breakfast good.
Nothing really. Enjoyed our two nights in the hotel.
The rooms were huge & very kindly we were all upgraded to a suite (3 double rooms booked). Location is just perfect - the staff were all very nice especially the lady who served breakfast in the downstairs cafe, nothing was ever too much trouble for her. We would definitely return to this hotel.
The only thing we would say could be improved upon in the hotel would be the heating in the bedrooms - extremely hot at times but thankfully there was an air conditioning unit in the room so it wasn't too problematic & the temperature of the bathroom floor was adjustable.
Brilliant location, enormously big rooms with 5 meter ceilings, recently refurbished, friendly staff
No lift to the hotel (located on the first floor), what was difficult with a stroller, though the staff helped to raise it. Poor breakfast.
The location was superb. We could not believe the view from our room. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was large and very comfortable.
The shower over the bath was a plumbing nightmare and leaked badly. The breakfasts lacked variety and were nowhere near as good as others we have had in Europe.
Service. Staff. Facilities .
The location was a positive for the hotel but also a negative.. It was great to look over the Christmas markets and watch the people/activities while in the warmth of our room however the noise of the markets and in the morning was annoying. The rooms are HUGE and the bathrooms are modern. Great room for a family - heaps of room and everything you need
The hotel is located in an old building and the floors creak esp when you try to walk quietly while children are sleeping!!! The doors could also do with some oil. Neither of these items however will stop us staying here next time.
This hotel is right on the square with incredible views of the Astronomical Clock, Our Lady Before Tyn Church, Christmas Market with its amazing tree and decorated bridge. We were in the middle of everything. Breakfast was also very good with such friendly ladies working there, cooking you eggs and meat to order. In fact , everyone at the hotel went out of their way to make us feel at home. We had one dinner at their outside (in 20 degrees with snow but with heaters, warm blankets and super gluewein drinks.
Nothing - I camn't wait to go back! We did have some trouble with the steps but that was due to our age. The staff made sure we did not have to carry our suitcases up and down.
Beautiful hotel, beautifully designed bedrooms and very spacious. Bathroom and shower very spacious also. Extremely clean. Breakfast delicious and plenty of it. also. Location of the hotel is excellent. Overall a hotel that we would re-visit and would recommend to stay here if visiting Prague city.
The noise coming from the side streets was a bit of a nuisance at times and temperature of the rooms was at times too hot and uncomfortable.
Amazing location on the old town square, spacious room with all amenities, balcony.
The entrance to the hotel was a bit hard to find.
The building is very historic. The room was very large, with a modern bathroom. Breakfast was good. This hotel has a great location right in the town square next to the clock.
Probably one of the best positioned hotels in Prague. Right on the square, with an abundance of restaurants and attractions, and easy walking distance to the Charles Bridge. The Heritage building had enormous rooms and high ceilings. In contrast, the bathroom (shower only in our room) had a space age feel to it. Good water pressure and quite roomy. The cave like jazz club under the hotel away from the bustle of the Square, was an interesting option for drinks and dinner with entertainment.
The hotel has not long been renovated. The fixtures are free standing, probably to protect the Heritage Building, and whilst there was ample shelving in the room, the hanging space was insufficient. Not difficult though to add a little more. Also another towel rack and soap holder, but these are just finishing touches.
location huge rooms
it's better to make plastic windows, because it is too much noise, even at night
