Big, quiet apartment for a good price, excellent location, good breakfast and friendly staff.
This hotel is in a quiet area and in walking distance to lots of attractions and also to the tram/metro if you are travelling a bit further out. Staff were really helpful in suggestions and we just had a really pleasant stay there. I would also suggest you check out some of the local pubs nearby.
Location good. Secure parking nearby. Tower Park nearby also worth a visit and local bars.
We were given the wrong (smaller) room, that was rectified. Parking space was charged at 20 euros instead of agreed 13 which again was rectified after complaint, hotel is a little tired looking and definitely in need of some renovation. TV was worse than useless with only 4 channels and only operable by hand(no remote) No wine glasses and little cutlery. Had we been staying more than one night we would have checked out. Worse point was a very distinct smell of raw sewage around toilet area. Breakfast was pretty poor also. EG only one choice of juice and sausages fairly inedible.
A bread knife and a toaster would have been useful if you choose to make breakfast yourself.
Great apartment facilities: quiet, clean, roomy. Great breakfast. Around a 10 minute walk to a main subway line. Good vegetarian restaurant options nearby.
Nothing really. But I can understand if some people want to be closer to the action (Old Town, Jewish Quarter). Overall it was an excellent value for the money.
Cleaning: the apartment was cleaned every day. It includes all neccessary equipment. Breakfast is rather good, not bad. It was rather quit place to sleep. In the bath - not slippery.
Location: pretty far from metro, about 10 min. Staff: ok, but in check out, they demanded to pay again for apartment despite it was paid a month ago before check in. Apartment: in description, it was said about apartment that it Includes two bedrooms and a living room, but actually it was two bad rooms only.
great location and wonderfully helpful young desk staff
hard bed, no desk, safe was in a very hard to reach position
bigger rooms and the space
For a two bedroom there's only one bathroom and kind of old and not so good Breakfast is not so great but its free
We stayed there for 7 days in August (18-23, 27-29) in different apartments, both were very nice. Large kitchen and rooms with good accommodation, wi-fi was perfect and free. The breakfast was decent with some changes every morning. daily cleaning but they didn't changed us the sheets. The hotel is located about 500 metres far from the metro (namesti miru st.) and trams (No 10,16,22). Quiet area with some cafe, bars and restaurants nearby. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially the girl in reception called Hedvica (Vicky), she did her best to help and please us. She is one of the reasons if we would stay at Orion Hotel again. Many thanks to Vicky!
They didn't changed the sheets for the first 5 days during our stay.
It is very bad hotel..bad and old rooms..beds are really old and dirty. There is a smell in the room always and dust. It needs to be renovated totally. I didnot get how the ratewas too high for this hotel..
Staff very helpful Location quiet but close to centre and Metro. Bright airy room with comfy bed.
Kitchen equipment a bit sparce. Microwave would have been useful. More choice of healthy breakfast cereals.
The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, and the neighborhood is wonderful. Our room on the 6th floor had a nice view I wasn't expecting.
The bed was not very comfortable, the pillow was too small and there was only one. I didn't appreciate passive aggressive reminders from hotel staff about needing to clean the kitchen before I checked out. Breakfast could use more vegetarian and vegan options.
Space in the apartment. Well located. Friendly staff on reception.
Soft mattresses. Breakfast
Place is very quiet and location was very good. Staff were very helpful with the questions one had and at the same time stayed very professional and didn´t "overdo" it.
- location (well connected - close to a metro/tram station, quiet neighbourhood ) - friendly and helpful staff - room size (lots of space) - nice view
-the room was not very clean (bathroom and kitchen area) - no air conditioning ( there was a fan in the room though)
Location close to metro & tram stop. Large & comfy room. Daily cleaning
Same breakfast everyday
Location Friendly staff
Cleaning was the most horrible i have ever seen. Beds were extremely uncomfortable. Breakfast was poor and the same every day
Location and surrounding area excellent, less than 5 mins walk to Metro and only one stop to heart of the city Wenceslas Square.Trains run every 5 - 10 mins Local bars very cheap for excellent pint of Czech beer roughly £1 a pint. When out and about look for Chinese & Vietnamese resturants meals LOVELY and cost £5 max. Enjoy Prague, beer & food.
Breakfast was a little limited, with no great variation, but still presented very well
Location was excellent with great cafes and restaurants within blocks. You can walk to the old town (a bit of a hike). Leafy lovely neighbourhood. Staff were mostly friendly and accommodating.
breakfast typical of a Czech 3 start hotel
The apartment is very big and comfortable. It also includes a kitchen. It's very convenient for us since we can cook dinner there.
Friendly staff. Spacious room with a separate kitchen. Nearby are many restaurants and places to walk.
t the time of check-in was blocked amount, asked the girl at the reception whether that is to pay extra, said she did not need. At the time of the eviction, she thanked us when we handed her the keys. Then it turned out that she was just an assistant (not clear whose :)), and she actually caught us in the street, saying that we did not pay for accommodation. Had with bags dragged back came another girl, and calculated us. Question for owners -Why such employee at the reception, who did not actually do?
- The location of the hotel is not far from metro and tram stations. - The room we got was big and equiped with kitchen facilities. - The Wifi is free, though there are rooms that the signal is weak or does not exists at all (top floor).
- Couple that traveled with us got much smaller room at the same price, so it is actually a matter of luck which room you'll get, no matter how much you paid for it. - Most Staff members do not speak English which makes communication almost impossible. - You have to actually beg for shampoo refiil and in general the service is not satisfying. - The breakfeast is exactly the same each morning. - The towels are not changed even after you throw them on the floor, it seems like the cleaning service sums at folding your bed sheets and thats it. - After a couple that traveled with us came back to their room and found out that it was attacked by insects, they were given a broom and a spray to deal with that on their own. - In spite all of the above i guess it is just the standard fot this kind of a hotel at this level of price. Therefore, all in all the staying there was ok and iv'e already been to much worst hotels that were priced much higher.
great spacious rooms really well connected via trams to centre pleasant staff pretty area English channels on TV room 11 - lovely views and very well equipped for two nice breakfast though became a bit samey everyday. clean bathroom and powerful shower.
hard beds - became more uncomfortable as week progressed but not by any means terrible. one one pillow provided. no air con in v hot weather - but plenty of big windows. as mentioned breakfast became samey.
Nice apartment, large area, high ceilings, luxury! Breakfast- very good, large range. Responsive staff, all my questions received answers. Very convenient that the reception is open 24 hours. Metro is near, tram stop too. Good location, quiet district, near beautiful park Gavlicek Gardens.
We requested a double bed but were given two separate.
