The hotel is close to several tram stations (only 5 min away), where you can take the tram to almost every attraction in the city. The old city center is only 10-15 min away with tram 18 or 11. The breakfast was good, not very varied from one day to another, but the food was good and it also included coffee, fresh, dessert, milk, cereals. The room was large and nice decorated, the bath was also large and everything in the room had a clean look. A big plus in my opinion was the parking lot, which has plenty of places for all the hotel rooms, it was safe and it was free.

The hotel is close to a train railway, so it's kind of noisy if you open the window, but if you keep it closed (we've been there in the winter, so that wasn't a problem for us) the noise is very low. Another weak point is that they only change the towels once a week, on Thursdays. As we arrived there Thursday and we only stayed till Tuesday, they never got to change our towels.. But these two weak points were countervailed by the price and all the other strong points I've written above.

Ostruvek is a Wonderful hotel in a nice area of Prague. It is very close to two tram stops that run to the city center and elsewhere. The staff is friendly and they were always available to help me. The breakfast buffet is very nice with light choices. The room was quaint and comfortable. Any complaints I've read about this hotel were moot, as I found none applicable; between the warmth of the hotel, room, and staff, I will surely stay at the Ostruvek hotel again when I return to Prague in the near future.

Breakfast was ok, plenty and not the same food everyday, the rooms were clean, and although trains passed close to the hotel, that was not a problem. 3 minutes away from the tram stations and 10-15 min away from the city center by tram, which is the best way to get to the old town were parking lots are scarce or very expensive. The parking at the hotel was also ok, not public as specified, but in an enclosed backyard. Close to the hotel and the Namesti bratri Synku tram station there's a nice pizzeria - Pizza West, with great food and great prices as well.

Probably not a frequent problem, but sometimes our room had a bad smell coming from the bathroom... not our fault :)

This hotel is awsome! I stayed before and i was amazed by the low prices that they provide in spite of their low prices, and moreover the internet and the praking space is free ! Last time i had the change to take part of a contry concert in the restaurant and that was really great !

During the night the temperature in the room was a little bit low, even if their heater were really burning.

Breakfast is quite good (for an included one that is). Very close to tram stops that get you into the centre in about 5-10 minutes

Very good hotel. Comfortable location, very attentive staff.

The hotel is very new and modern. Everything is clean, towels are snow-white, breakfast is very varied and substantial, Wi-fi is free, stuff is friendly and ready to help. It's possible to buy tram/metro/bus tickets on the reception. It takes 10 minutes to get to the centre by tram. Parking is free and enclosed.

The minor minus - audibility of the room.

Breakfast was the best part of the stay. Also location is about 10 tram stops away from the city. Tram ticket costs 20 krouns and ride takes about 20 mins

Hotel was not clean. Furniture was old and carpet was filthy. Toilet was dirty so we switched to a second room and there were spider webs so we switched again. Finally we gave up as we did not have much time to waist. Would not recommend this place for family especially if they have kids.

The hotel is situated to close to the railway tracks so it is quite noisy.The room walls are quite thin so if you hear your neighbour in the bathroom don't get scared.Also the front desk people are not very friendly and they failed to provide a city bus schedules from hotel to the city and back.The only staff memeber who I can say was nice and smiley was a girl who served at breakfast.

Good price and location, a good choice of food for breakfast, 24 -hour-reception

The room cleaned only on request and in some cases you don't have a sign to clean the room at the number

Comfortable rooms, nice and plenty breakfast, friendly staff, affordable prices.

The rooms are dusty and the bed was too soft for my taste. It was difficult to control the heating - I found only too options: heat, or not heat. The location from the center fair, it takes about 15 minutes with tram and 30-45 minutes on foot.
