for the amount we paid i thought the hotel was above standard. the room excellent the food very good for this country. everything was lovely and in uk would of been a four star or boutique hotel. the only thing that we did not like was that the heating went off at about 11 in evening and about 11 in morning. i spoke to staff who were lovely and said that the workmen outside must of damaged something. now i dont believe that the water temp outside controlls this ... no hot water after 11am or heating everynight after about 11ish .....i dont think they were being awkward i just think they thought it an easy excuse probablly because people would of complained before |

The staff were very helpful. Room good size, nicely furnished. Comfortable beds and large bathroom, where everything worked. There was a fridge in the room and free internet. Nothing lacking at all apart from tea making machine. |

The room and the bathroom were quite spacious (we had double superior), receptionist was very helpful & professional, breakfast was good enough. We stayed for 1 night (family with a toddler girl 23 months old) and were fully satisfied. |

Breakfast is delicious, the staff is amicable and professional. My room had high ceilings, high windows and hard-wood floor. The hotel is in a newly refurbished historical building. The location is great - to be closer to the springs is impossible. The only problem I had is the following. The room on the 4th floor (under the roof) was unbearably cold in the night. I do not know if it was just the coincidence or my personal impression. After my complaint, I was moved to the 2nd floor room, in the warmth of which I enjoyed the rest of my vacation. |

The beds were incredibly comfortable. The rooms were extremely clean. The proximity to shopping is wonderful. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was very good. Parking was a ways from the hotel. |

The reception staff were friendly and welcoming, even though we arrived at 11pm and it was freezing outside. They kindly complimented us on our Czech (which we were probably speaking very badly!) and just generally made the check-in process smooth and easy, which was nice after a long working day followed by a bus ride to get there. |

The rooms were beautiful and spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They even offered to let us keep our luggage locked up after check out so we could enjoy a few more extra hours in Karlovy Vary. Nothing. It was perfect. |
