Pension Adalbert is situated near the main square of Cesky Krumlov and the street is around the corner from the bridge to cross over the river. Yet, it is in a quiet location. It has a separate entrance from the Pension's restaurant which is nice for the guests staying there. Bathrooms are modern and larger than other pensions. Rooms have quality furniture, mixing some older antiques with other pieces. It would be more "user friendly" if the pension accepted credit cards. |

Location was excellent, walking distance from main attractions and restaurants at night. Room facilities were a little tired and the shower had to be held with one hand, which was a pain also paint was peeling off the shower. The restaurant in the pension was not open even though it was the end of June. Initially the people that run the pension semed offhand but that is the Czech persona, they were helpful, sorted out parking and maps. |

A fabulous place to stay while visiting in Cesky Krumlov. A wonderfully interesting and charming old place that is both quiet and comfortable, yet only steps away from the main town square. Our hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, and we learned a great deal from them. Breakfast was excellent. A totally enjoyable stay! |

The owners run the pension like an old fashioned inn: very attentive to your needs, friendly, caring about your comfort. They serve a wonderful breakfast with fresh eggs, cheese, cold meat, rolls, cereal, juices and coffee to order by the cup! |

Excellent central location, friendly staff. The more expensive rooms are well worth the extra money (both in comfort and style) if the difference is not too much (in our case it was less than 5 euros per day). There were no discount for single use of a double room. Breakfast is a bit modest. |

Our host was very friendly, had procured a parking pass for our car at a reduced rate, advised us on sightseeing and accompanied me to a store to purchase Gluten Free Bread. Our large, very clean room with ensuite was furnsihed very comfortably with antiques and we had a view of the Castle and Church from our bedroon window. Finding the Pension was worth the hunt!!and cars do fit up that street! for the money, would stay there again. Well situated in the town. |

It was in the old town, with a view of the castle tower. It was very quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. 54Mhz wireless access was available free. Good coffee, and the breakfast was nice. Minor inconveniences for us, but might be significant for others were: there is no elevator and no phone in the room. Parking is outside the central old town area, closest parking is about a 5-10 minute walk. (this is probably true for any of the hotels in the old town). Since it is a small pension, the staff is sometimes not available. They do not accept credit cards (but ATMs available close by) |
