Posizione eccellente all'ingresso della città con parcheggio davanti all'entrata dell' hotel. Ottimo il ristorante.

Very cheap, available free or paid parking places nearby, large apartment, very peaceful, at one step to old city, friendly staff.

Great location overlooking the Vltava River and the town. Large room with great artwork and lovely bathroom. Convenient for 5 minute walk into the centre of town.

Old building with lots of steps and access to restaurant difficult as it was below the hotel and accessed by steep steps at the side. Small outside smoking area accessible only through reception area which was sometimes closed. Breakfast average.

Very friendly service, contacted us in advance to find out when we would be checking in. Lovely spacious room with a great view of Cesky Krumlov, nice breakfast and good value for money. Highly recommended

No standup shower but there was a big bath with shower head.

The location and price are excellent. The buffet breakfast was very generous with the selection,staff was very nice and it's possible to park up to 3 cars in front of the pension, so it is convenient to have you car parked right on the spot as most places in Krumlov do not have parking and you have to walk to your hotel with your luggage.

The only negative would be if you cannot get one of the three parking spots in front of the pension, then you have to park a block or two away and walk a few minutes to your car.

The most amazing old pub under the Pension! It should be recommended along with the stay, it should not be missed!

A very charming guesthouse with lots of character and in a perfect location - a 5 minute walk from the main bus terminal, a 1 min walk from the bus stop from the train station, 1 min walk to the best panoramic view of the old town and a 5 min walk to the old town square. The local theater is right across the street. Views from the rooms of the Vltava River. Very ample buffet breakfast. Perfect in every way.

It was a nice building at perfect place of the city, close to the centre.

We have to leave the restaurant of Barbakan at 21.40, they didn't serve us. The close time was 22.00. We didn' t get fruit juice for breakfast.

Very nice but small room.

A quiet pension with some rooms providing a serene outlook over the river and trees. As we were traveling by bus, we appreciated that the pension was not right down in the centre of the old town which has cobblestone paving throughout. Therefore our wheeled suitcases did not have far to travel on the very rough surface. Even so, it was an easy stroll into the old town's centre (about 200 metres) after we deposited our luggage at the pension. An ideal spot for exploring the old town and its castle, plus eateries close by.

We stayed just the one night and found nothing to dislike about Pension Barbarkan.

The people were great and the location could not be better

clean room, good location (just in the enterance of the old town), good breakfast, helpful staff, and nice view from the window. and the restaraunt in the same building is also delicious, while you have to wait for quite a long time for the food...

price is a little bit high...

The staff are very nice. The location is near bus station.

The lady at the front desk was just so lovely. Gorgeous little room with a view over looking the city. Great location and parking not too far away. Good value for money. Bar and restuarant at the rear over looking the river was also lovely.

The Pension building is delightful and located very close to town therefore so convenient.Parking is right outside and very reasonably priced. Breakfast was good and the staff very helpful.We thought it was very good value for the rate charged.

An upgrade of towels would be good.

Charming small hotel in convenient location in Cesky Krumlov. Beautiful, large, quiet comfortable rooms. Good buffet breakfast and helpful staff.

It was (for my taste, needs, and expectations) a wonderful accommodation, great location, fantastic value. I was thoroughly pleased with every aspect of my stay.

Excellent location - just 3 min. from main market. Possible to park a car just in front of the pension - very convinient.

Great location on edge of auto free Krumlov. Staff spoke enough English to get along. Room was quiet and spent two delightful nights there. I can recomment it to others traveling in Eastern Europe. Breakfast was very good.

You are given multiple keys to get into your room. However, that is the way it is in most places in Eastern Europe.

1.The location is very good because it's near the main bus station.I remembered one day when we just came back from the castle and rested for a while, I told my husband "Why not go to České Budêjovice now?" Then we went there and found a good restaurant for dinner. It's real convenient for people who want to visit other nearby cities when stay in Český Krumlov. 2.The room is very clean and tidy; there is a hair-dryer and free Wi-Fi in the room.
