This apartment house is in a meticulously restored 1906 pseudo-renaissance building, in the center of Prague, but still in a quiet location by the river bank of the Vltava.
Score from 950 reviews Excellent
Extremely friendly staff, willing to help in any way. Very close to the city centre. Cleaning was good. Free Wifi Cozy for a pension. Good breakfast, simple but descent.
Decoration very old... but at the end who cares? Since you spend little time at the hotel anyway.
excellent position close to Carlo bridge, very quiet, large and very clean room; staff very kind
Truly the most helpful staff. We booked in only 10min before turning up at 7.30pm. John walked us to a fantastic local wine bar while our room was getting ready. Great first impression. They did our washing for only 4euros. Helped print train tickets and always pointed us in the right direction.
Great location, within walking distance to all the major tourist and historical spots. Considerate and very friendly helpful staff. Great value for money.
A few points for better improvement: No wifi reception in the room, had to use the main lobby. Noise level can be somewhat loud for rooms 8 & 9 from guests going in/out from the main door. Pillows could do with a revamp. Still a great place to stay REGARDLESS
Location was great, quiet, but near the main attractions The staff were some of the friendliest that we encountered on our trip.
The bedding was somewhat itchy
Great location excellent staff
The atmosphere and history of the house.
Being locked in and out of building.
Everything was really excellent: breakfast, room, location, very clean and fresh, good comfort. I will come back, maybe next time as a tourist.
- The bed was a bit too hard, but acceptable. - The windows had no black courtains for the daylight. The strong light really disturbs early in the morning. I would inprove that.
Excellent location, touching atmosphere of the room just like you were visiting a friend. There's a room for disabled.
The price of the parking is quite elevated, knowing ahead the total cost (room+parking) I might have chosen other place. Also it would have been nice to inform ahead, that the free room is for the disabled. Although it makes the hotel very sympathetic, I might have chosen a less thoughtfully equipped room with more usual facilities.
Great value for money. Great location, couple of minutes walking from all major locations. Pleasant and quite location.
Simple & old furniture. Basic breakfast. but who cares!
Awesome location in the heart of the city, quiet surroundings, kind staff, privacy, very comfortable stay, breakfast included, huge bathroom with bath (at least in my case), highly recommended
For my taste there was just too soft bed, but this might be advantage for someone :-)
It's located in a quiet yet convenient area, the building has real character and the staff were so attentive and helpful.
the atmosphere, friendly staff beautifull places to go to
Excellent location and an interesting historic venue, which preserves cultural integrity and hospitality.
difficult to find on arrival without more explicit directions.
Wonderfully friendly and helpful staff. This is a lovely oasis in the Mala Strana area, great for restaurants, cafes and green spaces. The house itself is historically very important as the home of the DIentenhofers, a multigenerational family of architects responsible for many Baroque buildings in Prague and beyond. The equivalent in London would be finding you're staying in Christpher Wren's old house...
The owners need to spend a bit on furnishings, and some new towels would be nice!
