We stayed at this hote for 3 nights and couldn't be happier. First of all it was cheap, staff was extremly helpful and friendly and our room had everything we needed. Shower was clean too. There is bar right next to hotel below ground so it's not noisy and you don't have to walk far to get good czech beer :) Double room bed consisted of 2 single beds put together and it was uncomfortable in the middle. |

The staff was extremely helpful, spoke English fluently, gave us tips about where to park, what to pay attention to when exchanging money, where to eat, how to use public transportation, where to buy tickets...everything really. I honestly was very very pleased with the staff there and I would recommend the hotel to anyone, just because of this. Sometimes in the evening the water in the shower changed gradually from hot to warm, so we had to hurry. Also, the walls were pretty thin, we could hear the "newlyweds" in the other room banging on our wall....but it was funny :) and certainly not the hotel's fault. |

The reception is a dining room at the same time. Originally it was probably a shop, so it has a big shop window and all the passers-by can see what you are eating. The waitress was watching us all the time during the breakfast (we were the only guests) which I found most embarrassing. The bathroom and the toilet in our room were rather dirty. Definitely not three stars, two is enough. |

Good location, just minutes from the tram into the centre. Quiet back street and friendly chap at reception who was willing to spend time helping with directions etc. Shower only ran hot for five minutes each day. Breakfast was a little limited. |

Very good location (10 min tram to the city, 15min to the castle), the staff is very friendly, give us very helpful information (and speak german and english). Breakfast is included. Our room was very noisy, the door was direct to the stairs, so everybody had pass in front of it (some people speaking loud after party late at night). The bed wasn't very comfortable (there was a long wood beam in the middle). They should inform in advance that the room won't be cleaned at all during the stay. |

The friendliness of the staff, size of room, the music channel on the t,v, and the fact that the rooms, towels and bedding were changed daily. My parents booked this hotel for myself and my boyfriend as the hostel that we had originally booked was disgusting. They booked it over the internet for the following day so that we didn't have to stay any longer in the hostel! |

Clean and tidy room, very convenient rates The woman employeers looked like they were slave, always sad and weren't able to speak English, difficult to comunicate, for instance when you needed something at the breakfast table. |

Location is good, only 10 min by tram to down town, tram stop is just around the corner. Breakfast is not bad. Decent restaurant in the area. Clean room. If you drove there, there is no parking in the hotel, you need to park at public parking (about a minute to walk) and pay 1.2 Euro an hour, from 08:00 to 18:00, night is free. In summer time can't sleep because there is no AC and when windows are open passing by cars on coblestone street make sound of a train. No telephone in the room. Cardboard thin doors are transparent to all noises from the hallway. |

Nice room with a new bathroom. We even got 3 beds, and therefore some extra space :) Like other people has been writing before, its 2 minutes walk to a tram station, and then 8 minutes to city. If you like walking it would take 30 minutes to Prague city. We lived on second floor, and it were easy to hear sounds through the door when "party people" were talking loud when walking up the stairs in the middle of night. But if we only had been drinking more beer ourself, then this would not have been a problem :) |

The guy at the reception was extremely helpful and kind, with perfect English! The breakfast was very delicious, there was ham, cheese, egg, yoghurt, jam, tea, orange juice, coffee, milk. There was free internet at the hall. The center can be easily reached by tram or on foot. |

Location was convenient, only 15 minutes by tram or metro to city centre. Fairly quiet street. Helpful receptionist. Good breakfast. Decent room. Excellent value for money. It would have been good to replenish soap and shampoo each day and have towels changed. |

The room was clean and comfortable. It was located in a quiet neighborhood In the new town away from the tourist crowds. As others have said, it is a bit far from the city center--but it is only a 10 minute tram ride to the city center. There is no elevator, which might be a concern for some. |

Excellent friendly attitude of the staff (interacted with two of them), the location was nice in a bit quirky way Not directly applicable to the hotel, but I got a driver from the hotel to take me to the airport (early flight when leaving). Very poor attitude, asked more money than quoted by the hotel. Better to avoid & use either one of the more established taxi companies or public transport. |

Beautifully situated in Prague's peaceful second district, the new Park Inn Hotel Prague is just a stone's throw away from the Vltava River and Vysehrad Castle, the UNESCO heritage site. |
The renovated Hotel Vitkov enjoys a central location, only 15 minutes from the Old Town Square by public transport. |
The modern Ostruvek hotel is conveniently located 10 minutes by tram from Wenceslas Square and the city centre, in a quiet area surrounded by trees between Prague 2 and 4. |
If you are looking for a value-for-money hotel near the centre with very easy access to public transport, then this recently renovated and redesigned hotel is the place to be. |
