Dating from 1887, this historic red-brick hotel was once owned by Salomon von Rothschild. Located in the district of Vitkovice, it is 3 km from the centre of Ostrava. The spacious rooms offer free Wi-Fi access. The Rothschild Palace features an original Art Nouveau interior and was declared a national cultural monument in 1958. It used to be the company hotel of the nearby ironworks, owned by the Rothschild family. The soundproof rooms at Penzion Rothschild Palace are decorated in different musical themes and feature oakwood floors and furniture made from tropical dark wood. They include an LCD satellite TV, a CD player, a seating area, and a minibar. The restaurant serves Czech, Italian and international cuisine, as well as a large selection fine wines. Guarded private parking is available on site. The Mirove Namesti Tram Stop is 10 metres away. The ride to the city centre takes 10 minutes. Beautiful, very beatutiful! Historical atmosphere, amazing interiors remainding the old times, lots of space in the room, quality solid materials. Very close to music festival Colours of Ostrava. Staff was very proffesional, breakfest were OK. There is a high-tech audio system in the rooms. I´d like to come back.

V penzionu jsme byli o víkendu sami, ale přesto o nás bylo výborně postaráno. Ocenili jsme profesionalitu manažerů p.Stejskala a p.Rendy.Penzion je pěkně zrekonstruovaný objekt typický pro Dolní Vítkovice, náš pokoj byl velký, klidný, vkusně a originálně zařízený. Spojení tramvají, která má zastávku hned u penzionu, je ideální.

Nové, designové pokoje s perfektní audio soustavou, pohodlné postele a vše velmi čisté...ráno výborná snídaně formou menu Recepce v přilehlé restauraci, otevřená pouze v době provozu reastaurace (při pozdním příchodu se nám podařilo spustit alarm) a chybějící klimatizace na pokoji

Zajímavě řešená rekonstrukce objektu i interiérů. Objekt je momentálně celý uzavřen, restaurace nefunguje, je možné se pouze po předchozím nahlášení a domluvení termínu příjezdu, ubytovat.
