Hotel is very nice, rooms are clean, facilities are great, staff is welcome. It is situated just across the street from Shopping Mall with 24h tesco (which helps a lot of when you was busy whole the day at conference and coming back to hotel only late night). Buffet breakfast was quite decent. There are two bus connecting hotel with city center (76 and 81), however I used taxi and it cost me 150 Kc (~6 Eur) to train station. Keep in mind that hotel had neither ironing services nor iron itself. |

Quiet, private carpark, elegant design, close to large shopping center, very friendly and helpful staff, no extra charge for our dog. As a one of the few smokers left in Europe, I would have welcomed an indoors smoking room... |

Rooms were very new and pleasent. The first morning the hotel manager made a specific point of asking us if everything is ok. There is a mall right next to the hotel with a 24 hour Tesco(nicer than the big one in the center of town), a bowling alley, a food court and a Kaufland Supermarket nearby. Location. If you have a car the location is perfect. The closest bus does not go to any place of interest. It is about a 10 minute walk, uphill, to the nearest tram which takes you to the center of town. On a nice day if you have time you can walk to the city center. It took me about an hour. I did enjoy the walk. I chose it due to the proximity to the vet school. Price should have been a bit cheaper due to distance from city center. Weird (but clean) sheets. |

It was clean and reasonably well appointed but probably falling short of 4 star status, situated in a non-descript out-of-town area but very close to a Tesco Hypermarket and shopping centre. It's location vis-a vis the city. |

I stayed there for 4 nights during the fairs exhibition in a double room on the second floor. So room was nice equipped in new furniture and the kitchen corner with microwave. Flat tv set as well as wifi for free was a nice surprise. The bathroom was enough big. Free of charge car park is also one of Vaka's strengths. Firs of all - Vaka present itself on a booking.com as a hotel but isn't. In fact It's a pension. The list of deficiencies includes items like the missing restaurant, very basic breakfast, room cleaning every second day, location in between a Tesco supermarket and a concrete plant. The noise of passing trucks could be heard since 5am. The elevator didn't work correctly, better go by stairs. The price compered to services is significantly too high. |

I really enjoy my stay in the Hotel Vaka. It is a very peaceful hotel at the end of the City in the area of tesco supermarket. So, it combines many alternative things. Using buses and tram (8 minutes walking), you can go everywhere in Brno. Moreover, since the market is so near, you can buy whatever you want. Considering the parking area is really very very sparse. |

Nice new built hotel some 5 minutes taxi ride from the centre of Brno. There is also a shopping centre and busstop just outside the hotel. Free Internet connection in the room. Resonably good breakfast, but no real kitchen/restaurant in the hotel. Free hotelparking. |

Excellent room. Newly built hotel. Bathroom. Hotel almost in grounds of hypermarket. Room wasn't cleaned Sat and Sun nights. Kitchenette consists of microwave and sink only. No washing up liquid, tea towels, cooker etc. Fridge is actually a mini bar. Hotel is surrounded by a concrete works. Out of town. |
