Hotel Vaka    

Petit hôtel avec un accueil excellent, le jeune homme à la reception parlait français et anglais, il nous a donné beaucoup d'indications pour visiter Brno. La chambre était grande et confortable. L'hôtel est légérement excentré (2Kms8 du centre historique), mais il y a des transports tout proches (Tram et bus à privilégier, les parkings sont rares). Petit déjeuner inclus. Centre commercial et bowling à 100m de l'hôtel.

Execellent hotel!!Acceuil parfait,les receptionistes sont tres competente,toujours la quand on a besoin,le patron est quand a lui tt aussi sympathique!!Propreté irreprochable,chambre tres bien equipé et tres confortable.Le petit dejeuné est tres copieu et tres bon!!Il y a un restaurant a ne surtout pas manquer et qui est a 100metre de l'hotel. Vous pouvez aller dans cette hotel les yeux fermés!!

La clim ne fonctionne pas assez fort a mon gout mais fonctionne quand meme!

Staff were very friendly and helpful with excellent English. The in the rooms were modern, clean and a reasonable size. Internet connection was also good. Eating options are limited as the hotel has no restaurant, but food in the nearby shopping centre was fine and also there was a microwave in the room.

Liked everything. I hope they can maintain the high standards of the rooms.

For the price, this was really good. Location is next to an enormous shopping centre with supermarket if you want to self-cater big-time; cafe's if you want to spend a little more; and a rather upmarket restaurant at an easy walking distance hotel. Free/included parking.

Not sure if this is the right place in the wrong place! On balance, probably better to stay here and drive to the Old Town when you need to if you're touring by car. If you're not using your own car, probably better to stay nearer to the Old Town

The staff was very, very helpful and willing to make our stay pleasant. The breakfast was very tasty and well balanced and with a great variety to choose from.

Good personal, free parking, good wi-fi.

Location is not so good, of about 15 minutes to go to the center by taxi. The breakfasts can be better.

An excellent hotel i recommend this hotel to anyone interested in spending time and enjoy themselves. An easy way to city center, across from a mall it has it all. Staff very friendly.

Nice hotel, not centrally located (we had a car), seems to be business oriented. Located right next to a large mall with a cement factory out back (also with the name Vaka (really!)). We had a pleasant stay. Staff were very professional, breakfast was reasonably good. The hotel was clean. No complaints.

Surroundings rather drab

The staff was beyond excellent in terms of helping us with transportation, and telling us about the area, and making suggestions about what to see in a short amount of time. Quiet location.

The location and neighborhood/area was not the best.

Very friendly staff, told us that if we are late for breakfast, we can just tell them and they can help to prepare some for us. Always offer help. Open the outdoor parking gate for us even when there is a thunder and rain storm. Very comfortable room, nice bathroom.

Unfortunately, they forgot to empty the trash can in the bathroom, and the tea leaves in the kettle.

Plus is the price in compare to the standard of the room, its size, equipment, private parking, free wi-fi and greate stuff. I really do appreciate their attitude - 150% rating.

The location - in case, you do not drive and want to use public transport... or walk. For those, who prefer car/taxi its no problem. City center is not more then 5 minutes to reach.

The hotel manager Stanislav is my hero. And his assistance Kate is just as nice and great. Not only are they exceedingly helpful but they are sincere and caring. They searched for the right opera for me, helped me book a car, charted my subsequent journey and recommended places that must be visited. Fearing that I might get lost, they printed me pages and pages of driving routes that lead me from one place to another. I didn't plan to spend so long in Brno and Prague but the places suggested by Stani are so beautiful that I could not resist staying. These people are simply splendid; they should have worked for the Czech government to promote tourism. Million thanks, Stanli and Kate.

Near a commercial center but very quiet. Free parking. Possibilty to pay in Euros

The staff is very helpful and friendly, and is quick to assist. The rooms are new, well designed, well maintained and very clean. It is very quiet, while located close to a shopping mall. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely return next time I am in Brno.

The hotel is at calm area,near is shopping center,provide kitchenette with each room,good parking area,nice staff,building is not complicated.

Our stay in Vaka hotel has been very relaxing. Breakfast is very good. Rooms are clean and quiet. The small kitchen inside the room allows you to be completly indipendent. Wifi very quick and stable. Staff is wonderful, always helping you for whatever you need. We will come back for sure!!!
