Score from 2013 reviews Very good
Outstanding staff, very nice breakfast, good location.
staff very nice, very proffessional, the hotel itself is awesome, would definitely stay again.
The staff is superb. They got us Opera tickets that were long sold out. Whatever we wanted they did. The breakfast was nice and there is a mall right adjacent to the hotel (who needs a mall when you're in prague! but it is there).
The hotel location was good - 7 minutes walk to the main city centre where the astronomical clock is. I would have rather stayed a bit closer but really not sure if the staff in other hotels would be as superb as these people. And really it is not like it;s far. You still be walking in magnificent streets :)
The hotel is excellent with very helpful and friendly staff.
Good location near center. Old charming building with style.
Good location. Clean room.
I didn't like that personal knocked quickly to the door and then was opened it also very quickly. I didn't have time to take something on me. Also when we had don't disturb on our door, reception call and asked to open the door because the guy with a new coffee machine was waiting outside )))
Really nice Art Deco style hotel, with an impressive executive room. Perfect for a romantic stay. Restaurant in the ground floor is really beautiful.
Week wi-fi signal. The bar is closed most part of the day and is quite poor for a 5 star hotel. I would change the whole ground floor organization.
The decor was superb, the restaurant was a real treat for our anniversary dinner. The staff were great too
A small point is the consistency of the housecleaning, sometimes the consumables (Bathroom and coffee making) were replenished and sometimes not - a bit annoying.
location and decor
mineral water not provided daily
Ok the hotel is nice and quite authentic and the location is ok (there are other hotels that are closer to the centre) but really its the hotel staff that makes this hotel unique. David, the concierge, was able to get me opera tickets for a sold out swan lake ballet (I even caller the opera to book a week earlier and there were no places available). Monica at the reception was so nice and accommodating. Everyone was helpful and genuinely smiling and wanting to help. If you're looking for a place next to the astronomical clock this hotel is not ideal as you need a 10 min walk to reach it. But if walking isn't a problem, I do recommend it. Almost forgot, breakfast is really fabulous!
I thought it would be much closer to the astronomical clock and Charles bridge. But its not a big deal. Almost 10 min walk in a beautiful area to the clock and 20 min walk to the bridge. Prague is gorgeous.
Staff was very helpful and responsive
room a bit narrow
Decor - the Art Deco interiors or the entrance hall, restaurant and bedrooms was unique and impressive. The rooms were clean, quiet, and well set out. Bathroom scales in the bathroom were a bonus. Concierge and staff were friendly and helpful.
Nothing - it was all a positive experience.
Everything was superlative. The decor, the staff, ambience and food all exceptional!
In breakfast there was nothing much to eat for vegetarians
Fantastic location. Beautiful restored opulent hotel. Decorated to high standard. Breakfast fantastic caters for all nationalities.
Loved the decor staff location and I would definitely come back to stay here. Wonderful breakfast selection too
Very nice breakfast, friendly staff and high comfort. Beautiful interior...
A bit noisy in rooms with the view on the street...
This is a one of a kind hotel. It has fabulous décor and a rich history. The location is away from Old Town but that means it is quieter. We are so glad our daughter found this hotel for all of us.
The location is excellent, staff very helpful and the hotel itself is beautiful with all it's Art Deco features. Having a great resturant in the hotel is such a bonus.
The rooms are quite small and the bathroom in particular was very difficult to use due to it's size.
I liked the clean beautiful room, the breakfast was a nice buffet and the staff were nice especially the concierge he was extra nice and helpful
I didn't like the location, it was in front of a tram trail and a bit far from it was the ugly side of the city. Also I think it was expensive. The door to go to the stairs near to the restaurant didn't open by card although the sign said just pass the card to open it. It never opened with me always somebody had to help me.
Room clean and quite; Good service & friendly staff Excellent breakfast & dinner (hotel restaurant is great); Walking distance to old town square...
Room is bit too small with no window/view...
Everything was good and staff were friendly helpful and nothing was a problem for them . They will make any bookings reservations or phone calls for you as part of the service. Breakfast was Excellent choice!
