Small boutique hotel with outstanding service. Never have we stayed anywhere and had the entire staff from owner Frank down offer the service to make our stay comfortable and easy. At check in (and everytime we returned to the hotel) we were offered refreshments while being offered our dining and tour options. Reservations for both were made and Frank personally drove us to our dinner restaurant. Breakfast buffet was as good as any large hotel. Free beer and wine was available all day. Excellent central location within easy walking distance of many sites. On check out staff drove us to train station. If only we could have such service at home. Do yourself a favor and look no further for your stay In beautiful Prague. They deserve their number one ratings.
Service Service Service Owners and staff treat guests like royalty!
Staff friendliness Complimentary drinks Breakfast Large room (deluxe) - immaculately clean Location
Small bath towels Overly helpful suggestions for tours which felt a little pushy.
Warm greeting when we first arrived. rooms generously sized, huge beds, very comfortable. breakfast was delicious - set us up for the day
Not a serious issue, but given that everything else was so comfortable, it was a disappointment to have quite small and thin bath and hand towels
The staff went out of their way to help us with our stay. Very cute hotel. Great location walking distance to everything.
The staff was very helpful -really wonderful in fact. You are treated like a real guest here. The location is perfect. Also very quiet. You could get a free beer, coffee or water whenever you wanted.
The staff was extremely helpfull. The appartment where we stayed felt like home an added to our experience. Breakfast was bountifull, fresh and delicious. I do not believe there is a better place to stay in Prague.
Owner Frank and the staff were friendly, caring and incredibly hospitable. They drove us to numerous points of interest; Frank even walked us to a neighborhood restaurant one evening! Linda, Natalie, Victoria and the rest of the staff could not have been more kind and accommodating. The breakfasts were awesome and we adored the cappuccino machine! Can't say enough good things about Agnes. They took very good care of us!
My only "complaint" is there should be a shelf in the shower to hold shampoo, etc.
The best hotel experience I've ever had. The hotel contacted me a few weeks before I visted to as me what they could do to make my trip more enjoyable. They helped me arrange tours and transport and plan meals and other siteseeing. When I arrived they greeted me at the door by name and offered me a drink and a seat in the lovely coutyard foyer while they explained everything they could offer me. My room was magnificient, beautiful and clean with an enormous bed and a wonderful view. During my stay I ate delicious breakfasts and I was helped with everything Id forgotten or needed (iphone 5 charger, iron). On my second day I came home to find a box of chocolates on my bed and the owner gave me a lift to the theatre in his car. I had a wonderful time alone in Prague and the hotel certainly made all the difference. The staff were welcoming and always helpful with being overbearing. It was a truely delightful hotel experience.
I loved everything. Cannot fault this hotel.
this place is fabulous. The proprietor and staff go well beyond what is reasonable. They anticipate you needs and offer it.we were provided with free internet and breakfast (not unusual) but how about wine, laundry and car service. We travel extensively and have never seen this kind of genuine service and concern. The hotel is ideally located in the old town, near the Jewish quarter.
The rooms are adequate size and very clean but would have to be larger to compare favorably with the overwhelming hospitality.
Stuff is very friendly and helpful, good breakfast, good location.
WiFi was spotty
The staff was very helpful, They out lined on a map what streets to take and took us to the castle and offers to take and picks up from the zoo. The breakfast was great and they were fun and friendly to our twins.
Everything was absolutely perfect. The breakfast was wonderful, the hotel clean and comfortable, and the hotel staff were all amazing. Everyone was very helpful and extremely nice. I have never stayed at a hotel where everyone was so helpful. All of our reservations were made by the staff, we barely had to lift a finger. It made our experience beautiful. Thanks to everyone.
There was nothing I did not like.
Dear Linda, Frank and the other members of your team, Now that we are back home in Belgium my wife and I would like to take the opportunity to thank you and every one of your team once again for your hospitality and for all the help and attentions (flowers, box of chocolates, bottle of wine, drinks) we got from your team. We also wish to thank Frank for driving us to the restaurant /castle / concert halls. Like several other guests we had the pleasure to meet we really felt at home in your hotel. It deserves a 10/10 and we will upload a comment in that sense to Booking Com. We will certainly recommend and make publicity for your hotel among family and relatives. We wish your hotel a fully booked future.
The hotel is just perfect.
Fantastic location and staff. Bdeakfast is really good, everyone is so friendly.
The hotel is delightful with just 22 rooms leading off an airy atrium. The rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean. The staff are exceptionally helpful and charming. The breakfast is a feast in itself. On top of all this we were offered complimentary taxis each day, flowers and wine were left in our room and all drinks were also complimentary. We felt we were treated like royalty. I definitely recommend this hotel.
Frank and his staff. Great room in the corner, fabulous breakfast and happy hour. Assistance with reservations at restaurants, transportation, advice on sites, everything. This crew should teach hospitality and hotel management classes at U.S. business schools.
Having to leave!
The stuff was very personal and caring, offered assistance and even drove us complimentary to sites in and around the city We were treated to complimentary wine and coffee in the lobby during the whole stay. The room was beautiful, bed was comfortable pampering
Customer service ....way beyond any other hotel , met @ train station , driven back to train station - all for free Owner is so accommodating , wished we stayed for longer ...don't stay anywhere else ...this is the only place to sat
The fact that all the staff were there to ensure that you enjoyed your stay. Not a grump among them.
Leaving!! Stayed for 3 nights but this was not long enough.Prague exceeded all expectations.
The customer service was not to be believed. I felt like they had mistaken me for a movie star (or, more likely, my girlfriend).
Nothing bad to say. I've never been catered to like this
Friendly, helpful staff made our stay completely enjoyable. Quiet, convenient location. Comfortable rooms. This is what every hotel should be.
This hotel does many little things that make you feel welcome and comfortable as a first-time visitor to Prague. Will definitely want to come back if I visit Prague again.
I travel a lot and have stayed in many hotels in over 20 years of business and personal travel. This hotel was the best my wife & I have experienced in terms of their attention to detail, their helpfulness, their friendliness, the cleanliness, the atmosphere and the local knowledge. They provided complimentary tea, coffee, wine and beer all day (& evening) long, they offered a complimentary car to the castle and took care of every last detail of our stay. The hotel is 5 mins walk from the Old Square and positioned in a quiet street and area. The staff and the owner are totally customer focussed and this passion is clearly seen at all times. Highly recommended, we will be returning!
There was very little we didn't like about this hotel! It is a small 'personal' environment which is very different from other chain hotels. If you are looking for a large hotel with a pool, gym and a spa, you will not find it here!
From arrival to departure, my wife and I were pampered by the staff at Residence Agnes. A truly wonderful visit.
