We had the four person-room, and the vibe was quite nice. Old but cosy. Everything worked properly, even the internet in spite of it not supposed to in the rooms :-) It's in no way a luxury place, but for what we needed, it was great!
The beds were quite squeeky and hard. There was a table with two chairs - two more would have been nice.
spacious room, nice neighbourhood, good breakfast
a bit further away from centre (need tram) yet in the parking zone (needed to park a couple of streets away); but this is still very acceptable for the price...
Solid breakfast choices, comfortable bed, modern bathroom; helpful reception desk, couple of blocks from tram which next stops at two different subway lines.
If you book the "sleeps 4-5" apartment, ask if they have fixed the shower head, which leaks more than it sprinkles. We found the internet slow and unreliable, compared to elsewhere in Prague.
Based in old building in vinohrad area. Behind the hotel is a lovely park with vineyard. bed very comfortable. Staff very helpful.breakfast good. Try the Prague beer museum at the bottom of America street.
WiFi weak in bedroom. Shower great but no fitting on wall
The friendliness of the staff
Everything else.. the rooms were of a very low standard.. The door handle to my room kept on coming off in my hand including the lock from both inside and outside.. Shower did not have a holder and the room was more in parr with a 1 star hotel. It was so bad that even though I was booked and paid for 5 days, I checked out after the first night and paid for another hotel.
One member of staff was very helpful. The location was good and easy to get around using public transport. Local shops and eating places were close by and good prices. we were left alone in peace by staff.
On arrival the staff member was extremely rude and intolerant of our lack of knowledge of locality and customary procedures. Quite threatening and cheeky to traveller who's writing wasn't clear enough for staff member. Room was basic. No shower door on shower and the toilet smelled of extreme stale urine. The door had to be left open when using the toilet it was that bad. The handles were falling off the cupboard doors, the sink was past its hygienic usable date and the towels were not changed at all. The tiles on the floor were sharp at edges and unsuitable for children who would cut their feet. The curtains were held up by string and needed a wash. Cheap place to stay may suit a stag party of men who aint fussy.
Extra charge for late arrival - after 8pm. You will find out this info only after you pay. Which means no 24hr reception. Very old equipment, falling off paint. Almost non existent wifi signal on the third floor. You share entrance door and tiny hall with other room as these are former flats. Very bad value for money we paid for this place.
The best reception ever.. I hurt my ancle and she helped my with everything. Big room on 2. floor. ok breakfast
Curtins missing. Didn't get clean towels and toiletpaper before we asked for it. Stayed 5 days and no cleaning
Very helpful staff. Our thanks for all the help and best wishes. An old house with the things that go with that definition.
Location, price, room areas
THEY DON'T ACCEPT CARDS, in spite of what's written @ booking.com, prepare Czech cash. Old furniture
The neighborhood The furnishment A quiet place
The bed is very uncomfortable, I had a strong back ache the day after No wifi in the residence, despite it is advertised as with wifi TV not working properly Poor breakfast with horrible coffee Shower not working porperly (the water remains there for hours) : impossible to take two consecutive showers
Good location, good breakfast, clean.
Very friendly personnel, clean and large rooms. Good connection to the city center and all sightseeings.
Missing mirror, cigarette ash left in drawers (seems somebody rude was smoking there in the past despite smoking was prohibited).
The staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast was continental- fresh and good coffee It was an easy commute to the city by public trasportation and there were many nice cafés and restaurants nearby
The room was dirty, toilet seat was broken. 2 of the 3 of us felt physically Ill each morning-- the bedding smelled of mildew and the pillows and blankets were stained and lumpy/old and needed replacing. One of the beds was so uncomfortable that we didn't use it during the stay I cannot in good conscious recommend this hotel. Spend a little more money- it's worth not getting ill.
Hotel was centrally located, and nice and quiet for the kids, spacious room and the furniture was of a good standard. Staff were friendly and happy to help. The bathroom was basic but clean. Great low cost hotel
Breakfast was standard muesli, bread, cheese and ham. Which we had in every low cost hotel within the Czech Republic. The kids didn't like it but for the adults it was substantial enough.
Location, very close to subway and good restaurants
Terrible wifi connection. Despite the good accomodation, the noise from construction in the next building started 8 am from monday to saturday, which prevented us from sleeping our entire stay in this hotel.
Lucie in front desk is very nice and helpful. I mentioned I have asthma disease, Lucie arrange a big nice room without carpet for me which is very considerable. Appreciated for her kindness. Close to MRT station. Less than 10 minutes walk.
The floor seems very thin, when walking on it , there's noise. Since this is an old, unique building, I Don't think it's a big problem.
nice staff, suffice breakfast, good location, silent, comfortable, simple, cheap
very weak wifi signal, there were not vegetables at the breakfast, there were not cleaning during the stay, no place or hanger for the dresses
- very nice neighbourhood - reception lady was nice - breakfast included in price - clean sheets
This "hotel" does not deserve 3 stars. We got a room in the basement. It is understandable that there was not enough day light, but the lights were so weak, that you couldn't even notice there were lamps! The Wifi reception was very poor and the room was not really clean, there were even ants!!! Everyone gets one big towel and no small ones, if you want some extras like toilet paper or your room to be cleaned, you must ask!!! And we were not the only ones who faced these problems - during the breakfast we heard a couple complaining about the wifi and a man who wanted toilet paper and clean towels...
This is a lovely hotel located in a quiet residential neighbourhood of Prague 2. The hotel is a nice 30 minutes downhill walk away from the old town square. There are 2 tram stops within 5 minutes walk from the hotel which can take you to Prague Castle under 30 minutes. The Metro stop is only 10 minutes walk away. The hotel is very clean and quiet. Room was spacious. The breakfast was basic but fulfilling. Lady at the reception was really lovely. All in all, my stay was an absolute pleasure! And oh, Prague is an amazing place - a must visit for everyone.
I stayed in the basement room where the Wifi reception was really poor - wasn't a deal breaker for me though.
It was the cheapest accomodation well located in PragueI've ever seen. It was also quiet and clean. I do recommend it!
The entrance questionnaire (we needed to fill in even our passport number) and the reception opening hours (they are there only till 20:00.
Friendly staff, clean great value for money.
Change of towels would have been nice and a kettle.
Hotel staff is very helpful and kindness. Walking distance to Tram station and metro. Breakfast is included so is very cheap price.
No shower curtain, water can be all over the bathroom after shower. No fixed parking and hotel staff will tell you where to park for free, however my car windows were broken by thief and some stuff in car were lost.(the 1st night we arrived Praha)
Everything made of wood. Staff is very kind. Rooms are clean and good equiped.
old broken tv, shower facilities might be better, poor wi-fi signal (wi-fi does not work in the room)
I liked, location, food, heat.
I didn't like bath, beds, toilet, noise every time neighbors above me flushed toilet.
