Score from 707 reviews Very good
Our room was big and the bathroom was modern and spotless. Loved the double windows we could open for fresh air.
Although they have an elevator, you have to climb about ten steps just to get to reception, and there is no one to help with bags. Then ten more steps to the elevator! And then we figured to take the elevator to the floor above ours and then walk half a flight down to our floor. Too many stairs!!! Very
This was a modest hotel in a great location near the Charles Bridge that was reasonably priced. I would recommend it for a person wanting to sightsee, not a person wanting to spend lots of time in the room. My room was quite small.
The staff at the desk was friendly and helpful, but not wonderful.
liked location in the very center, excellent breakfast , clean room. We liked everything. Staff is pretty good. Helped with directions and other questions we had. Also could be a bit less expensive.
Our room was facing into inside yard. Every morning around 4-5 am it was a lot of loud noise outside probably from people coming in and out , from garbage removal etc. it only lasted for few minutes, but annoying anyway. Otherwise excellent .
Great location - just a few steps from Charles Bridge. Super room, large en-suite. Décor a little dated, but comfortable, Breakfast included, several options, all tasty. Staff helpful, spoke good English.
Had a room with a bath + shower head, but no shower curtain..... Seems petty, I know, but struggling to find a negative!
Central location to every tourist spots all within easy walking distance to both sides of the Charles Bridge. Experience the best tasting sausage without all the preservatives at the end of Charles Bridge by going down the steps under the bridge.
Wifi at the hotel was very iffy. Emails sent to the hotel never arrived.
Location is wonderful...close to everything but far enough from the noise
Staff didn't always seem to be professional...exception was Lucie
The location was excellent right near the Charles bridge.
The fact that you had to go up a flight of stair with luggage.
Location is perfect Nice breakfast price quiet
constantly overbooking, if you are a group (10-15) not all of the group will get room on this hotell, happened two years in a row. You have to pac cash, credit card machine did not work this year either...
location is very good clean big rooms team always like to help
breakfast can include also something vegetarians
We had made a reservation in this hotel to stay over the week-end. Unfortunately, there was something broken in the bathroom and hotel management sent us an email 2 days prior to our arrival to tell us that they had transferred us to another hotel since they were not able to welcome us. The other hotel was perfectly located as well and we did not have to pay anything more. This is the best alternative we could hope for!
The hotel is bang in the centre of the tourist area and makes it easy to explore all of it. The hotel is very comfortable but it is really a good class 3 star, rather than a 4 star.
I couldn't ever get the wifi to work, either in the hotel or in the restaurant below. The lift is also a bit funny. It has been added on to the outside of the building and its levels are not the same as those in the building so you need to be able to climb stairs.
We cant use credit card while check out
I was on the third floor and inside my room was not possible to conect wi fi.
Wifi only works if your room is on the first floor... Otherwise you don t have internet beyond the 1st floor which is really annoying
nice, quiet and central
Centrally located between the square and the Charles Bridge but on a quieter side street.
At approx 11 pm every night and 7 am each morning there was about 10 minutes of rubbish bins being thrown around by the restaurant next door with loud yelling. This is not the hotels fault but if they were my neighbours I, d file a complaint.
Good location, reasonable price
Breakfast setup not pleasant, crowded around small table, staff only interested in getting you out quickly, restaurant a bit grotty
perfect location!only five minutes walking to the Charles Bridge, ten mimutes walking to the old town square.Breakfast is good.Room is clean and nice bathroom.
WIFI is available on the groundfloor but not in our room.the reception said rooms above the forth floor got problem with WIFI connection.Besides, room is a little bit small for two person.
Very nice and clean; quiet despite central location; air conditioner worked nicely. Breakfast was excellent.
The rooms were very small. Although there was an elevator, it stopped only at half floors--for instance, we had to climb up the staircase to get to the elevator, go up one story higher than the room floor, and then climb down half the staircase to get to the room. WiFi did not work in some rooms.
Location is perfect! Few minutes walk from Charles bridge & old town square. Near metro stations. Staff is really kind and helpful.
Wifi can be spotty. That's the only complaint. Really I thought this was a great place to stay.
Brilliant location right near Charles Bridge in the heart of the Old Town. Staff were very helpful.
Erratic wifi connection.
The position was perfect for visiting Prague, in the heart of the old town. The room was clean. The staff was kind and helpful. The food in the restaurant was really good.
No wifi available in the rooms. We had to go to the hall or to the internet area to use it. The walls, pavement and ceilings apperead to be as thick as a slice of paper. I could hear every single breath of the neighbours in the other rooms. Breakfast could have included a wider variety of pastries.
The hotel is within easy reach of all the sights. We enjoyed the view of interesting rooftops from our window. The beds are really comfortable and the accommodation spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
A kettle to boil water for a cup of tea in the morning would have been good. Plus some milk left in the fridge. We were disappointed with the fruit on offer at breakfast. Given that there was delicious fresh fruit on sale throughout the city, there is really no need to offer tinned fruit. The coffee was not nice either and to have to pay for a cup of tea seems very mean. Perhaps the manager could think about making these improvements to an otherwise great place to stay.
A few minutes walk to Charles Bridge, Astronomical Clock square and other landmarks. Beautiful view of Prague's rooftops. Helpful staff.
