Good location, just a step away from the main square
Barely no WIFI on the top floor
Central location, Spacious room, tasty breakfast
Very comfortable, spacious and great location.
has well-equipped kitchen; a small but good shop nearby; a bank for exchange money nearby; a nice cafe nearby; really ancient and cute museum and I love the green Moldavites there！
GREAT place! Very friendly and accomodating staff and the room was lovely!
Good location for walk tour.
Just a comment! I check out before the reception is operated. I'm quite worried that she can get the key cards safely in mailbox.
the light outside just above the entrance door is too bright. the better way of hanging the draperies will solve the problem.I was in the apt.1 in the second bedroom.
The charming apartment with a four poster bed and lots of space filled gracefully by lovely old or old-style furniture, wooden beamed ceiling, and a view of the old castle tower, plus a fine well-equipped bathroom and kitchenette, and located on a quiet courtyard--for a budget hotel price--a dream come true for an experienced traveler.
Breakfast, delivered to the rooms was not so very great--everything in little packets, weak coffee, etc. But it was cheap!
We liked the decor - nice mix of old furniture with modern comfort. Had a great ambience. Also, the location is excellent. It's right in the middle of the old town, so a short walk to everything.
We could only stay one night!
Fully equipped to prepare food, with a little grocery store downstairs you can get everything needed.
Location and apts great. Lovely furniture. For some reason hotels In Czech rep just have big duvets on the beds no single top sheet. Got a bit warm even in Oct
Character filled, spacious and very comfortable apartment. Rooftop & castle glimpses from the kitchen. Friendly check in. Great value. Our 6 year old loved the loft style bedroom. Fantastic!
Carrying suitcases up 3 flights of stairs but we knew this when we booked.
Everything - from the Friendly helpful service at the front counter to the Modern accommodation; the location absolutely everything was perfect. We were on a trip all around Eastern Europe and this was by far our favourite place that we stayed in.
Price is reasonable, staff is nice, there's a museum underground, room is spacious, only minute walk to the centre of the attractions, located in an old building in the centre of the world heritage site.
On 12 September 2014, I and my husband checked in this hotel. Everything seemed fine until 7 pm when the reception had left. There was a loudly band played at the backyard of the hotel. They continuously played that noisy music from 7 pm to 11 pm!! (actually it located in the empty land that located next to the back of the hotel)..That band played very noisy, loud music with full equipment!!! (pity to that band, I could see only 6-8 people as audience including two of us who looked at them and wished them to stop playing.) Even we closed the double layers windows, the noise could get through!! The base sound was so strong so it made the building shake!! How could we sleep??? There was no hotel reception after 6 pm so I could not inform anyone to handle with this situation. Cesky Krumlov is a world heritage site which very peaceful but at night I faced with this nightmare!! One more thing, the hairdryer didn't work and we found out after 6 pm..poor us.. However, the hotel cost is so cheap..compensate.
The hotel is above an interesting museum about the crystal moldavite. The room was good and very clean. There is no lift, but that is to be expected in older buildings. The location is excellent. Breakfast is an extra charge and is delivered to the room as there is no dining room in the building. The breakfast is large and nearly enough for two meals. This was a reasonably priced room in the lovely town of Ceske Krumlov.
We laughed about the pages of rules and fines for infractions. We thought this was unnecessary. There is no night reception, but we knew this when booking.
Location first...very central; the cosy atmosphere of being in an attic apartment for the first time. It was very spacious, and had everything I wanted of the facilities and amenities.
No English-speaking TV channels. The tight, spiral, steep staircases.
The residence is located at the old town area, so it is very convenient. From the window,I can look the tower of the castle. The service is very nice. Per my request, they come to my room to check the hot water problem. The room price is acceptable.
The room is very small, especially the tolilet. The tolilet is so small that thr door could not be closed easily. The kitchen is small too. There is no enough space to put kitchen devices fo cooking. So we cook hot water only, and do not cook the meals. The tank of hot water is small, so the water changed form hot to cold during my showerbath.
Great location, great price Fabulous bath! Nice breakfast delivered to room at a great price
No assistance with luggage up several flights of stairs The room smelt like prior smokers room
The hotel was lovely and in a great location. The staff was friendly. The room was large and comfortable. Good value!
It is difficult to navigate this town in a car, so getting luggage to the hotel was a littlle daunting. Also, the room had beautiful dark wood furniture and not a lot of natural light, but it was lovely.
Perfect location, huge space, comfortable and nice decorated, excellent Wi-Fi.
No reading lamps by the bed.
Stayed in the attic room, it was much larger than it appeared in pictures. Jacuzzi tub, castle view from windows, great location just 30 seconds from the town square. Very happy overall with this place.
No english channels on the tv, but that's really minor.
Residence Muzeum Vltavinu is on a quiet street that is convenient to the town square. There is a cafe across from the Residence for a light breakfast if you don't want to order with your room. The staff was great, and we enjoyed visiting the museum, which we probably would not have done if we weren't staying there. It was great to have all four of us in one place (two bedrooms). The living room/dining room was beautifully furnished.
The annoying shop at the end of the alleyway that played repetitive loud bass drum music throughout the afternoon. Fortunately it was quiet at night. It would be nice if someone would ask them to limit the drumming sound to within their shop. This is only a problem if you anticipate taking an afternoon nap.
there is no needs that we spend 1 day at cesky. I think it is too small villige to travel. there is no elevator.
Wonderful stay, our 5 year old daughter loved the location from the first minute! She wants to stay there for ever!
