I like design of room, the hotel itself set on the good location I can walk around the town easily.

Our apartment was amazing and huge, with separate bathroom and toilet, large entrance way, kitchen, and extremely large lounge/bedroom. It was very good value for money. Internet was wired and extremely fast which makes a nice change however there is wireless in the cafe/lobby. The square was 100m away. Got a park outside the front door (free from 6pm to 10am weekdays), however the hotel also has parking which is a short walk away. Breakfast was extra but the omlettes were very nice with hot bread rolls and fresh orange juice (ordering off the menu, not the buffet). I wish we had stayed longer. Very relaxing. Our apartment was so good that I'm not sure if we had been upgraded?!

We found the apartment spacious, well appointed, very clean and centrally situated in easy reach of restaurants and shops. A friendly and helpful welcome was also much appreciated.

What a great apartment. Very centrally located and so close to the main square. We stayed in Apartment 131 - on the top floor - and had great views. The apartment is beautiful and modern – I especially loved the exposed wood beams in our unit. We even had a small terrace. The kitchen is fully furnished and perfect for a short stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

I wasn't expecting it - but there are no elevators. Be prepared to carry your bags up some stairs!

The apartment for 4 persons was really spacious and newly refurbished. Batrooms are very nicley done. The location is excellent, in the very centre of the town. The apartment also has a fully functioning kitchen.

The second room for 2 persons looks rather like a student room and is not as comfortable as the master bedroom.

The room was spacious and well modern equiped. Great breakfast. The staff were nice and friendly helpful.

No elevator, no wireless internet

We had a lovely time staying at u černé Věže. The apartment was stylish and immaculate and had a washing machine, which was an added bonus. The bathroom was luxurious: black marble walls and a really cool bathtub. Unbelievable value for money. The location couldn't be better, everything was within walking distance and easy to find. The Black Tower and the town square are just around the corner. Visited the Hluboká castle nearby, it is very beautiful and a must see - do take the guided tour inside! I have to give extra credit to Petr, the Business Manager, who was extremely nice and helpful. Thanks to him, our stay at U Černé Věže was a full 10 out of 10.

Clean, spacious, comfortable apartment close to town square at a good price.

The hotel staff was wonderful! They were very friendly and helpful. Our room easily accommodated our family of six.

Location and the size of the appartments

Very hard to find even with up-to-date GPS. No proper parking, long way between car and appartments. The appartment was facing street that was very busy and as a result the appartment was very noisy all night. Lots of drunken people under the windows waking us up till 4am. No airconditioning. The appartment was not serviced at all during our stay.

These are great value modern apartments with everything on the door step and staff who really help. Highly Recommended.

It's a shame not to have wifi extended to the rooms- if you are using a device like an iPod then the wired Internet is of no use. Surrounded by a lot of businesses, cafes, bars, offices etc which generate quite some noise as you will need the windows open in the summer due to lack of a/c (only the split level top floor apartment has a/c probably due to the extra heat up in the roof!)
