Very impressed with Prague, great place for city break, hotel location excellent and staff helpfully and friendly. Would have liked a bath in the room but that was possibly down to not reading hotel description correctly, minor problem.

great location, very close the the castle. it's really noisy at night. I think it's something coming out of drainage system or ventilation plant. couldn't sleep.

Great location just a few steps from the Castle. Big spacious room, nice breakfast and helpful happy staff. Temperature of water in the shower was never consistent, one second it would burn next moment it would be chilly. Shower cubicle was very small for a guy of 6ft 4.

Stunning views and location. Great breakfast Wish that there were tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Shower temperamental, could have been better, a bath would have been nice.

We stayed in the Green Lobster Hotel from 21 to 24 Feb 2013. We found the hotel staff to be very helpful and friendly and they looked after us well. The lovely buffet breakfast is located in a hotel just across the road and catered for all tastes. Hotel location is ideal for walking to Prague Castle, passing souvenir shops, restaurants etc. The nearest tram stop is only 150m away. Would have liked to have Tea/coffee making facilites in our bedroom.

the rooms were very spacious. They were very warm, and very clean. the hotel was in a great location - the stairs were a bit narrow - slight paint flaking around toilet area. Not suitable for elderly people with disablements.

We stayed at the Hotel Green Lobster for 6 nights and it was great! I was a little apprehensive at first that a 5 star hotel could be so cheap... But it was definitely well worth what we paid. The hotel is situated in a great spot -- 200m down the hill from Prague Castle and only a few minutes walk from Charles Bridge/Old Town Square. The room was great - super comfortable beds and the decor was nice too (the photos don't lie!) The staff are all really friendly and helpful. All in all we had a great stay and would definitely come back again! The only criticism we have is of the breakfast. I have to say it wasn't 5-star or even 3-star.. (The water and juices tasted and smelt really strongly - for some weird reason - of parsley or old vegetable water; and the sausages, vegetables and fruit were fresh out of a can..) But that being said, it was convenient to have there and since it was included in our room rate (which was already cheap) we can't complain really!!

All the rooms are unique and spacious. Quite luxurious too. Only half the rooms have wifi. I would definitely come back to this hotel - but I'd like to know that I would definitely have wifi in my room.

beautiful room, location, friendly and helpful staff, nice food. there was a little unpleasant smell from the bathroom when you turn the ventilation fan on. Cannot blame them though, as this is a palace - like building from 14th century.

Everything was great. The stuff was very kind and helpful, the room was spacious and very clean, the bed - very comfortable, in the night - there wasn't any noise and we could sleep very well, the housekeeping was perfect, the breakfast - very tasty and rich. The location was great too - ten minutes to the Charles Bridge and five to the Castle. From the airport it was easy to reach the hotel too - the tram station is five minutes away. You should climb up a little bit to the hotel, which could be a problem if you are very tired, but this is nothing considering every other pros.

The proximity to Hradčany The room was not clean - the bathroom was fool of mold. Although we requested and got a email confirmation that we will have a wifi in our room, the signal was so bad, that we could not use internet on our smartphones. But the worst was the lady at the reception - on our check- in, while filling out the forms, she requested we pay in advance, then when she said they had technical problems and I should pay tomorrow, and she literally stalked us at the reception everyday (we stayed there for 6 days) to pay. On the first day, she even said "if you dont want to pay, we have you booking.com confirmation, so we will take the money from there". I never said I wouldnt pay, it's just the fact that all of the hotels I ever stayed in the worold would charge you on your check out. Day before we checked out she once more insisted we pay, but she didnt know how to use the credit card slot machine, and refused to call the bank saying I should call my bank in croatia. In the end, I payed with my other card. One other problem is the fact that the hotel does not have it's own restaurant, but one has to cross the street to a partner hotel for breakfast! Which wouldnt be such a problem...if sunny, but in the rain it's not as convenient. This is by far, the worst 4**** hotel I ever stayed in, and definitely would not reccomend it to anyone.

It is a cosy hotel, the rooms are huge with a massive king size bed, both me and my girlfriend enjoyed the city and the proximities to the castle where you can overlook the beautiful views in the city. Breakfast is very nice too. would love to go stay there again the next time we are in prague.

Very nice and helpfull staff. The surroundings are just amazing. This relatively unknown part of Prague is truely stunning. Such a charming place to be! ANd all the good stuff is just a ten minute walk (or less) from the hotel. The hotel itself has an atmosphere of the early nineteenhundreds, very nice upholstered and beautifully styled. Just stunning! - Although it is a truely nice place, it is a considerable climb to the hotel; quite steep at some places. - It's not very accessible by car, but then again, very few places in the old part of Prague are. If you know this upfront, then it's no big deal. - The bathroom was very good, but a tad smallish. But these are just small niglles, once you're enchanted by the the stunnign beauty of this part of Prague.
