Location, room, cost, staff,
Wow, what a great hotel! If I ever return to Prague, this where I will stay. Lovely.
Great position, comfortable rooms. It's near the Castle but a little far from the centre (Malo Strana). Really kind staff.
loved my room. Baroque style, really lovely. small little hotel. but really cute.
nothing. it was very nice
This hotel is only feet from Prague Castle (all uphill though). This makes it convenient to go early morning, midday and at night to see Prague in all its glory. It is also close to excellent, reasonably priced restaurants (as well as exorbitant ones.) It is a 5 min walk to Charles bridge (15 min back - all uphill). So the location is fantastic.
Furniture is a bit dated (chic or old?). I cut my finger on the seating while reading email when I went to shift position. Otherwise it was fine.
Wonderful, beautiful area - you live in the middle of historical part of Prague. Amazing building. Very nice helpful stuff.
No breakfast. Only soap-shampoo all in one thingy in the bathroom (no lotion for example). The description of the hotel should mention that the hotel is on a hill.
rooms were a good size and the location was excellent
duvets were too heavy and with no lighter weight duvets or blankets available, it was too warm to sleep comfortably
Lovely historic building Enormous room with traditional style furniture Comfy bed Good powerful shower
Everything fine. I would reccommend it to everyone
The location was excellent for exploring Prague
Facilities in the room poor, Kettle and cups but no Tea,Coffe and milk? The bathroom needs some TLC, shower head for example broken. No paking facilites.
Beautiful room, fantastic location directly under castle, very quiet.excellent base 5mins to the Charles bridge.
No tea/coffee facilities in room
Location: 10-15 minutes far from Charles Bridge, friendly stuff, room was clean.
Building is quite old so you can hear neighbors stepping 1 floor above you. Also, hotel is 4 four stars, but as per my point of view, there are only three actually.
Good location if you are visiting the castle especially. Beautiful painted ceiling in our deluxe room. Big room. The four poster bed. The staff was super helpful.Excellent heating.
You have a bit of walking to do uphill when you get back if you visit the old town. It is an old building so it comes with limitations, like low shower pressure, squeaky furniture and floors; an elevator is not permitted, so a rather slow platform is used instead (well...at least better than nothing).
Excellent venue, highly recommend, thank you green lobster. Birthday package and upgrade was fantastic.
This hotel is a fantastic place to stay in Prague. With a few minutes walk from the castle and not within a short distance to Charles bridge it was a fantastic place to stay. The staff were fantastic providing information & explaining the best routes to and back from the old town (in case you didn't fancy the short walk uphill) the rooms were very clean and spacious & we couldn't have asked for more. We had a fantastic trip & the hotel made everything that little bit easier with great restaurants/ pubs & sights so close by. We will definitely return to this hotel when staying in Prague.
- proximity to Charles bridge and old city (5-10min walk via georgeous bridge) - price to value was great
- breakfast in nearby cafe was terrible - hotel is on the hill. Tough to walk up to it
Staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming. Location of the hotel is great, attractions like St. Vitus Church and Prague Castle are easily accessed. The room is spacious, comfortable and exquisite. And it looks exactly like the pictures they show on their web.
We stayed in a room located on the 3rd floor and facing the street. It can be quite noisy sometime in the morning. There is a boiler-like appliance in our room and it constantly gives out annoying noise too which can be quite disturbing.
Location is great
Double beds are actually 2 just single beds pushed together
The staff were helpful and knowledgeable.
Facility for making tea would be nice.
Amazing big room with antique furniture. Receptionists are very friendly with good sense of humour
There was a strange water heater in the bathroom. And the noise because of it was very loud and annoying
The staff was very friendly and service was excellent. The hotel rooms were clean and were cleaned every day.
The double bed was actually two single beds pushed together. It was a bit annoying when the beds would split apart. Also, the water stopped working for over 24 hours. It was an issue with the city's water main, so while not the hotel's fault, it was an annoyance nonetheless.
The overall facilities were good. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff very good.
The heating in the bedroom was almost non-existant having to keep bathroom/toilet doors open to have heat from bathroom radiator. Also it woul be good to have hot drink facilities in room.
Everything, except the cabinet that fell apart as soon as I leaned on it.
The fact that we were charged for the cheaply made cabinet that was poorly constructed.
Location was good in a nice quiet part of the city. Nice big hill to walk up to reach the hotel which was handy to walk off all the over indulgence of lovely food. The hotel itself was very clean and tidy with extremly friendly staff. Although I would not recomend this hotel to people with limited mobility.
Double bed was two singles pushed together, so moved apart during the night. This was resolved after the first night so was no longer a problem.
Location is excellent. The hotel is located in the historic area and extremely close to the the castle area.
Probably because the hotel is built in the historic area, the facilities is not as good as modern 4 star hotel.
