During the last hours of the 30 Years' War the Swedes were stopped at the Charles Bridge 1648 in Prague. The building was probably renovated or additions were made around 1770. The beautiful paintings on the ceilings of many rooms probably derive from this renovation.
You can also make a reservation in our wine cellar, serving a wide range of interesting vintage wines together with some cheese or Swedish specialities. The cellar features an original extant part of Judith Bridge - the oldest stone bridge in Europe.
We can also arrange wine tasting sessions, private (cocktail) parties and the like in this inviting place in the heart of the Golden City.

Location close to centre of Prague but very quiet, pleasant staff very spacious rooms. Air conditioning in the bedroom would not operate correctly stayed on heating all time even when turned off |

Perfect, central location - just near to the end of Charles Bridge. High standard, comfortable rooms with some interesting antique accents. And what was really impressing: very friendly, helpful, polite and competent staff. I could fully recommend this hotel. I hope I will return here some day. |

All staff were very friendly and helpful, despite some occasional difficulties with translation. We had a problem with our bathroom, which resulted in us being moved to a better suite. This was done without hesitation, once it was established the problem could not be fixed. |

It was located just below the St Charles bridge. It was centrally located to walk in either direction to the Prague Castle or the other side to the Jewish Qtr. Cute little area with shops and resturants. seemed to be a lot going on but never too noisy. We booked a suite but when we checked in they only had 2 seperate rooms. Was not a big problem-they gave us the same rate. The rooms were great-nicely decorated,clean, and I enjoyed a jacuzzi tub with my husband. The girl at the front desk was not very excitable-but not necissarily rude. |

The hotel was amazing, we got a deluxe suite, which was spacious, clean, nicely decorated. The minibar prices were not bad either. The location cannot be beat. The hotel staff is wonderful. They really recommended spots that are frequented by more locals and somewhat less touristy. |

The best thing about the hotel for us was that it was small, very central yet at night time it was so quiet. The beds in the suite were really comfortable, the breakfast was very good plenty of choice. The hotel in general was excellent. |

We liked the excellent location , facilities in the room , such as internet, quality of the breakfast. The peace and quiet , Amount of space in the suite . Would certainly book again. How many hotel rooms ( external view) feature in general post cards and have 5 windows , three giving views of the bridge, one of the bridge tower !. Towels a bit small , could not find a kettle ! Limited or no top up of tea/coffee/whitener items. Minor points. |

Our experience at the hotel was excellent. It is a beautifully appointed historic hotel and has an incredibe location right at the end of Charles Bridge (on Malastrana side). I could see the bridge from my bed and it was still a very silent room at night. It is also a great location for visiting all attractions. It takes just 6-7 minutes walking to Old Town Square and aslo to Malastrana metro station. And it takes 1 minutes to walk to the boat trip ore 2 minutes to the beautifull Kampa Garden.There are many cafes, restaurants and shops near the hotel. The hotel staff is very nice and helpful . Our executive suite (number 5) had more than everything we needed. The room had a little kitchen with fridge, cooker, tea making & cooking facilities. We had a large bathroom, with a big window and jakuzi. Everything was considered for us, there was even 3 little toothbrush, toothpaste and razer blade for shaving. Our suite was big, confortable and very nice decorated. We never saw the stuff who cleans our suite , but it was always very clean like it had been cleaned by a magic hand. We had computer and free internet in our suite. The morning breakfast had a nice selection, including cold and hot meal, everything was very delicious. And Pickwick Earlgray tee was also incredible. It is a confortable hotel with elevator, aircondition and parking possibilities and the price was very good for all these facilities. We felt ourselves like livig in a home in Prague. We want definitely go back again. Thank you for everything! |

Our stay at the Rezidence Lundborg was one of the best on our 3 week European holiday. The staff was incredibly polite and helpful, fluent in english and made us feel welcome. They even helped us rearrange and cancel rent car reservations at the Prague airport. The hotel/suite was extremely clean, modern and very comfortable. Traveling with a teen, the mini fridge and internet access were appreciated and the jacuzzi tub was a definite plus after a long day of walking. Breakfast was generous with ample hot and cold choices. The location was great, walking distance to most sights, and the view(s) of the Charles bridge from the room were beautiful, both day and night. We will definitely stay here again. Our teenage son agreed the sofa bed was rather uncomfortable but said the internet access, mini fridge and large number of beautiful girls in Prague made up for it... |

Staff very helpful, recommending a nice and reasonably priced restaurant, providing assistance with my two young children, booking a taxi etc. The room had tea making & cooking facilities, large bathroom, free internet access. Hotel was in great location for visiting all attractions. Room could be a little stuffy and though you had lots of windows, when opened the noise from people on Charles Bridge could be quite loud (late night revelers). We also had to keep windows shut due to our children being able to climb up to window ledge. |

The hotel was generally very good in a great spot by the bridge very close to most of the sights in mala strana and old town .The stuff was kind the room very cozy and generally had a great time. the room's view was not as expected but still had no problem. |

They even upgraded us to the bigger family suite when there was difficulty with the free computer and internet in our executive suite. The morning breakfast has a nice selection, including eggs and bacon. The location of the hotel is excellent. |

A great location, and very centrally based. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent.Very clean, modern and well appointed. We will definitely go back again! Thank you The settee bed wasn't the most comfortable, but was adequate. It was unclear as to whether there was a PC in each room - there wasn't in ours. |
