Mamaison Hotel Riverside Prague  

We had a very nice, large room with a view of the river. Breakfast was very good.

Very irritating musak piped into hotel corridors which was so loud you could hear it in your room. Breakfast room was very small for the size of hotel. Fittings in the rooms could be checked more often. The shower holder and toilet roll holder were both loose.

I work for in a senior role for a large international bank. I had a very unusual experience which Im sure is not the norm for Malamaison, however the way they dealt with my issues is testament to what a professional hotel they are. On arriving at the hotel the A/C in our room was not working. I called reception and within 60 seconds an engineer knocked at the door. After establishing they could not fix the A/C we were upgraded to a Junior Suite. Within 5 minutes of being in the Junior Suite my wife had a shower and to our astonishment the shower did not work. I was very angry at this point and called reception again. We were promptly upgraded again to one of their finest suites with incredible views of Prague. The manager apologised and I accepted the apology. The next day after returning from a day sightseeing, I found an apology card, bottle of wine, and fruit basket waiting in our new suite. Its touches like this that really rescue a customer relationship and we had a wonderful few days at the hotel. Highly recommended.

I didnt like being moved around rooms however they got it right in the end, apologised, and gave the wow factor.

Excellent hotel, more to boutique type. Attentive staff. Was perfect for our stay. About 20 minutes walking to Old Town or cross the bridge and take the tram or metro. Park your car on the street along the river (2 blocks to the right of the hotel are free parking), or pay 15 Euros per day to have your car parked on the side street anyway.

Very nice hotel, staff very helpful, location was good not to far to walk to the sites, Room nice, good view and very clean Only ate the breakfast once, was a bit expensive if you are only a lite eater, but choice of food was good Have no real complaints however not sure if I would give it a five star rating

Cost of room service rather expensive

We booked a room with a view and wow what a view we had. Very freindly and helpful staff. Excellent hotel. Would use again and recommend

It was an amazing hotel at a relatively small price. It was very clean and luxurious. The staff are very friendly.

There was no wireless Internet in the rooms, you had to sit in the lobby to use the wireless. This is the only issue I had with the very impressive hotel

Excellent hotel with spotless rooms, luxury bathroom and a big comfy bed. Views over the river are spectacular too. Will definitely recommend to others.

It was very clean and the staff were very helpfull. It is located about a 15 -20 stroll into the centre of Prague and therefore peaceful during night.

No tea or coffee making facilities in the bedroom.

The entire stay at the Mamaison was without a doubt excellent. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The location is just far enough out of the main hustle/bustle of the town centre but still only a 5-10 minute walk to the State Theatre. The room was lovely with a view of the river, we would recommend the hotel to anyone wanting to visit Prague.
