The central location within walking distance of all attractions, even the castle if you were reasonably fit and liked walking. The noise level in the square with the Hard Rock Cafe next door playing loud music until the early hours of the morning. As soon as the music stopped the rubbish collections started. Did not make for a restful nights sleep. If you opened the windows it was noisy, if you shut the windows you were too hot.

the location is excellent, front desk staff were very helpful and the bar staff were also excellent. Everything is within walking distance as the hotel is located in the old square just a couple of doors down from the Hard Rock Cafe only gripe I had is that the staff in the breakfast room refused to give out English Breakfast tea bags, they only put out herbal tea bags also the staff in the breakfast room were extremly rude to guests so if you like a cup of tea in the mornings bring your own tea bags

We do not know where to start. Perfect location, super comfort all over the hotel, very cleverly designed and functional hotel, even the lift was fun and pleasant to walk in. The staff - switched on and energised all over the hotel. Fast, efficient service with big smiles. Super hairdryer with magnified mirror, small chair to sit on meanwhile you put your make up on, customized bench for two jumbo luggages, so you do not have to climb through your suitcases lying on the floor like in many hotel rooms due to lack of space. Good size wardrobe, spacious room, huge bathroom for a double room, super view, and last but not least the breakfast. Was the best ever. The selection of the local products there was no food shortage in the kitchen that is for sure. Basically everything was the best of the best and basically this is how all hotels should operate. Super comfort we felt like at home. No wonder it is always booked out.

We likes the location on center town. In the night, a lot of noise, music and electronics.

The front desk staff were wonderful . . . they always took care of requests, and beyond . . . they offered to pack a breakfast for us when we had a very early flight. A complaint of a noisy air-conditioner was also attended to right away. The breakfast was very satisfying, meeting the different tastes of our four member group. The location was fantastic . . . we were at the back of the hotel and were able to open our windows without hearing any noise from the street below. We had lots of room to lay out our things and relax on the chairs and beds during our time in the room. We are pretty spoiled in North America, and little things like irons and tea kettles/coffee makers were missed while staying in this hotel.

Excellent location. Free bottle of wine on arrival for my partners birthday which was a nice touch. However, breakfast could have been organised a little better. All in all, a very nice hotel and stay in Prague. Subsequent to booking the room on line via hotel booking.com. The hotel contacted me by e-mail to offer a taxi transfer from the airport to the hotel. If I accepted this offer it would have cost in the region of £25.00 one way. With a little research, we used the airport bus into the city and then the sub-way, which took us right to the hotel. This cost £1 each way and was far more fun. I also over heard another guest complain that she had used the taxi service and was far from happy that the driver was constantly using his mobile phone while driving and nearly crashed twice! Not good!!!

I wish to thank all the staff of this hotel for making our trip memorable. The hotel was situated in old town square just step outside to the wonderful buildings and the food was super in the hotel and in prague. Prague is very much a walking around holiday the best way to see all the wonderful buildings but do dress in warm clothes with good walking shoes. I would reccommend this hotel to anyone who wants to be in the centre of it all.

Great location to main tourist attractions in Prague. Excellent breakfast. Clean room. Hallways smelled of cigarette smoke, but did not seem to seep into room. We booked for three people - the third bed was a pullout chair - not super comfy, but not bad for one night.

The location is excellent. The staff very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was fine - adequate to meet all tastes. Room it is in was fun. We would definitely stay again. Noisy in the night....garbage trucks and other cleaning type vehicles. No rolladens! Not a problem in winter but would be difficult to sleep in summer with light starting before 5 am.

The best thing in this hotel is location. 1 minute walking from old town square. Bathroom floor heating is very nice. Staff was very friendly. I really recomend this hotel if you stay in prague. Hot water is only available in the morning. At night you only get cold. the room could have coffe/tea making facilities.

Hotel Rott could not be better located for tourists. It is just off the beautiful Main Square of the old city, is in walking distance to all major tourist attractions (with the possible exception of the castle), and is surrounded by restaurants and cafes. The staff was helpful and spoke good English. We had a lovely view of the square from our room, though not all rooms would have this view. The room was comfortable and nicely decorated. The tv offered a good selection of news channels. There is a computer and printer available for guest use in the lobby. The buffet breakfast was more than adequate. Finally, we loved the Hotel Rott restaurant and cafe. It served excellent gourmet meals for a reasonable price. Don't miss having dinner there. The bathroom was newly appointed, but the shower was small. There was no tub in our bathroom. They were not very generous with the soap. At night our room remained very warm (we were there in October) and we had to open the window to cool it, thus bringing in some noise from the square. As well, there are no blackout curtains on the windows so light comes through. None of this bothered us, however. We slept very well.

We absolutely loved the position since it was one minute from the main square.Horses and carts clip-clopped past all day a, band played on the corner and the restuarant / bar downstairs was excellent with an olde worlde ambiance. Our room was very spacious and comfortable and the staff were very attentive. The reception desk was always very busy so it would have been helpful to have a dedicated concierge to advise everyone on Prague.

L Location was very good for old town, never far from where we wanted to go. Breakfast was good and served until 10.00am. No tea/coffee making facilities in room, no trouser press.I Would expect these in a 4* hotel especialy in an "executive room".Therefor I dont think it is 4* and if returning would book a standard room and not pay the premium for the upgrade.

The hotels location is right in the heart of the old town making the hotel perfect for sightseeing and shopping, the room we had was in the back of the hotel making it very quiet, but without a view from the windows, the staff are friendly and responsive to guests needs most of the time. The house cleaning are very good respecting the do not disturb signs and the room was kept very clean. Getting an iron and ironing board was difficult and as I was told by staff that is because there is only 2 of them in the hotel (over 120 rooms in a 4 star hotel and only 2 irons?????) what are they thinking, the hotel is old and a little worn around the edges but what it lacks in luxury it makes up for in location.

Excellent position, right in the Old Town. Friendly, willing staff who spoke excellent English. Very conmfortable room and spotless, modern bathroom. The room was quiet and suitable protected from the lengthy summer sun hours, I.E. nice dark curtains. Good air conditioning. Altogether a fantastic stay to celebrate our (27th) wedding anniversary (we are in our mid-50's). It was recommended by a friend, and I ahve taken many brochures from reception, to give to my friends here in Stockholm. I shall also recommend this hotel to all ,my friend sna adult students in South Africa. Wonderful! Thank you! Hotel Restaurant was overpriced, with awful food: veal ragout was gristly and supposed to be served with "root vegetables". I only got gravy and mash. Service was ok, if slightly sullen. But this restaurant was optional; we would not dine there again.
