Hotel Rott  

The central location within walking distance of all attractions, even the castle if you were reasonably fit and liked walking.

The noise level in the square with the Hard Rock Cafe next door playing loud music until the early hours of the morning. As soon as the music stopped the rubbish collections started. Did not make for a restful nights sleep. If you opened the windows it was noisy, if you shut the windows you were too hot.

The room was clean and comfortable however, the bedlinen was very old and 'tired'. The towels were also rather well used but were chaged every day. The carpet at the entrance to the room needed a clean. The curtains did not provide enough block out for the light (street lights as well as sunlight)

Excellent location just in the heart of the city - close to all main attractions, shops and restaurants. Friendly and professional staff, good breakfast. Very silent despite to the location.

The location was absolutely perfect for all the major sight-seeing attractions; just off the main square. As our room was in the roof it was very quiet and no sound of lifts or doors banging which was great. On the subject of lifts, however, there were only 2 and they were a tad temperamental so at least our legs got a good workout. As it was my sister's birthday the staff left a bottle of sparkling wine in the room which was a lovely gesture. Thoroughly recommended for short city break.

The lifts weren't great; slow and unreliable. Otherwise everything great.

Because of its location ( which should be fabulous in the heart of the city), next to /above the Hardrock cafe and poor sound insulation the room was never quiet and the boom boom of the music was constant. It was very hard to fall asleep with that kind of noise. And we were a couple of stories above the place... Too bad because the location is right in the heart of the city.. Also ther is only internet in the room through ethernet wire, no big deal if you have a laptop but not if you have a tablet or smartphone and need wifi.

Staff in reception and hotel very friendly, I have stayed at Hotel Rott before and chose it again for the cleanliness, location and excellent buffet breakfast. I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone wishing to visit Prague. We came because it was my husbands birthday and was presented with a bottle of champagne on arrival in our room which we thought was a lovely gesture. Also the surprise of his sister turning up unknown to him until the day.

We did have a drink in the bar and although the service was good, we were reminded every time we ordered a drink that service charge was not included which we were aware of and would have tipped anyway without having to keep being reminded.

Centrally located with access to Prague's Old Town, the Jewish Quarter, etc.; comfortable but compact; good breakfast

Concern about potential emergency escapes as it appeared there was only one at the opposite end of the building.

It is very convenient to move around to the shop and restuarants. Will stay in the same hotel next time we visit Prague. And will also recommend to our friends and relatives. Would like to have more varieties for breakfast.

Location was fantastic, short walk to the main sites; rooms were large and the contact I had with the Hotel (Alena) was first class I had a group that went from 10 to 19 for my 50th and help was always just an e mail away even arranging for taxis to pick us up at the airport and bring us to hotel very reasonable.
