The hotel is quite far from the city center. If you come to Brno to visit it, do not book Santon. The hotel is excellent for business purposes: conference, all kinds of events, this is why we got there. If you have an event inside, it's a must to stay in Santon, otherwise you will spend much time on transportation. There is a big restaurant in the hotel where they serve a rich breakfast: it's worth buying it when you book the room. The prices for lunch and dinner are reasonable: we ate 2 dishes, 2 persons and we paid around 13 euro. Tips: right in front of the hotel there is another restaurant (traditional czech) where you can try the "gulash", much better than the one in the Santon. Very enjoyable stay! |

Nice setting, relatively quiet, bar and restaurant open late, roof terrace, health suite on site. New bathrooms etc shows some willingness to update. Early start to breakfast service very useful. No aircon in rooms unacceptable in 2009, also needs internet in rooms, too many aspects of hotel old and shabby. |

Stayed here twice. Both times staff were excellent. On both visits I requested a late check out - neither of which I was charged for. There is confusion about the availablity of the fitness centre to hotel guests. For a week's stay I was only given two passes for the centre. |

I liked the dinner in the restaurant's hotel, that has a good relation quality price. The bed is comfortable. The curtains are almost non-existent. From 5 am is day inside the room. The hotel needs a renovation. Seems more the hotel's "The Shinning" from Kubrick. The hotel's description "the hotel offer wonderful views over the lake and the surrounding forest." does not corresponds to the real sensation offered by the hotel. |

The hotel was clean and the facilities were good, if basic. The restaurant wasnt bad at all, and breakfast was quite good for the price. The spa/wellness centre was very good but it was disappointing to find that use of the facilities were at an additional cost which is not made clear in the marketing/websites. We booked the hotel as they market themselves as a peaceful location away from the busy city but while we were there a huge funfair was built directly opposite our room. We were very disappointed that the hotel had not made us aware that this would be there in advance, as we purposefully booked there for some peace and quiet. |

Nice location by the reservoir and bars/restaurants. Excellent terrace for breakfast in the sun with great views over the reservoir. Many of the rooms have similar views. Easy access to my son's home in Brno. Handy for the tram into town. Easy to get to from the airport or D1. Facilities in the room are sparse e.g. tea/coffee/mini bar but not essential for me. Smoking. Some bedrooms are smoking free and its seems smoking is banned in the restaurant now. |

Prostředí okolo hotelu, poměrně velice dobré služby a ochotný personál.Do koupelny bych doporučoval namísto závěsu nainstalovat posuvné plastové zábrany (dveře), aby nedocházelo při sprchování k úniku vody na podlahu koupelny. zapomenutý plný odpadní koš v koupelně s použitou dámskou hygienou.... |

Es war ruhig und die Natur und Lage hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Das Hotel wurde wahrscheinlich in der Kriegszeit gebaut. Es hat was militärisches, von Gefühl her. Die Gänge und Zimmer sind sehr schlicht eingerichtet. |

Placeringen i forhold til vor vi skulle starte vore vandringer, samt de mange spisesteder omkring hotellet Personalet var uprofessionelt, især ved udcheck, der tog næsten 1 time, så vi var ved at miste vort fly i Wien. Samtidig prøvede de at tage ca. 32 EUR mere for værelset end bookingen sagde. |

Die Lage am See einerseits und nahe der Stadt Brünn andererseits war sehr angenehm. Dass die Fremdsprachenkenntnisse des Personals so gut waren, war sehr hilfreich. Auf der Terrasse sitzt man sehr schön und die Cocktails haben ausgezeichnet geschmeckt. |
