Friendly staff Good breakfast Small but nice room Excellent location WiFi worked well Parking in front of the hotel
Hotel is great, staff is nice, location is good! Hotel decoration is charming and exciting! Hotel is in the heart of Mala Strana, old baroque neighborhood.
Staff is friendly but doesn't go beyond expected. Orientation on the city highlights missed the Tram to the castle, energy saver, as it is a reasonable uphill walk! The breakfast buffet is very limited. The hotel location is good, but due to Tram network, it makes you walk a lot to get to old town!
This is a quirky gem of a hotel with friendly, helpful staff. The design features are even better than in the online pictures. Lovely selection of fresh breads, fruits, meats and cheeses at breakfast. Would definitely recommend.
Would suggest deep cleaning or replacing the custom made lobby carpet. This is the first thing the guests see so it needs to look smart. The rest of the hotel is very clean.
Very nice staff, good breakfast, wide and silent room. Very near to the centre (few minutes walk) in a quite area.
Only 'small' defect was the room Windows looking towards the corridor and internal lobby. Need to keep curtains closed for privacy.
Breakfast choice is unbeatable Lovely rooms, views and facilities
Only one staff at breakfast was not ideal
The location was superb! The stuff was really helpful and friendly, they provide you all necessary information about Prague and its must-see. If it's raining, you can take an umbrella for free for your tour. The breakfast was a good start for a long walking day, and the facilities made our stay unforgettable.
You have to pay for the spa (35€), for the coffee in the lobby and for the coffee in your room. We're not penny-pinchers, so for us it was not a big deal.
the best place i have ever stayed ,very special decoration ,clean , good facilities ,great breakfast ,they also served tea or coffee & cake at the restaurant every afternoon for free and that it was a very pleasant surprise !nice elegant area close to the centre
i cant think anything that i didnt like
The staff were super friendly and helpful, and our room was more than we could ask for, large and comfortable. The location is perfect, in the city center, but quiet!! The breakfast was also fantastic, great selection of fresh warm and cold morning treats.
Good location easy less than 15minute walk across the Charles bridge to the old town. Really helpful staff that went out of there way to help us book activerties or organise anything. Delicious breakfast and a complimentary afternoon tea everyday. Nice constable room with lots of space and unique decor
Our room was on the third floor so at peak times we couldn't get hot water to our shower. The staff where really apologetic as it is an old building but it can be a bit frustrating. Otherwise everything exceeded our expectations and we had a great stay.
Nice and comfortable. Great location
The price we paid was a rip off. 3 star hotel at 5 star price. Salt rubbed to the wound was Eur 22 per day for parking on the street.
This hotel was brilliant! Lovely design with really interesting details. Excellent value for money, and in a nice, quiet location close to the centre. Breakfast was very good too.
The only thing at all that I could fault was that we didn't realise that entry to the gym cost extra.
Very nice and comfortable hotel. I would recommend it to my friends.
No kettle in the room.
Central location, very comfortable bed, good breakfast, free and fast wifi
We had a room facing the hall, there was no air circulation in the room. There was no way to turn off the heating.
- Staff Friendliness - Room was large and decorated nicely - Breakfast delicious and included in room rate (as is an afternoon tea, but we were always sight seeing and never took the opportunity) - Good location
- In Room 42, you hear the lift shaft going up and down the WHOLE time. - Parking is quite expensive, 22 Euros, but it is a safe parking in front of the hotel with camera security.
i love the design of the Hotel free wifi is very great offer from Hotel .area is fantastic veryy quiet and suround by many embassies so ist great area.i love double Windows make a room is more quiet.staffs also very friendly and helpful
i dont like a taxi the Hotel offered for me it seems he is one of the worst Driver i ever met and i think he has a good contact from Hotel some Kind of black taxi a car he drives is not a taxi it's private car.i dont know where he buy is driving license.
What a find. Loved the whole experience. Reminded me of my teenage years in the sixties. Decor amazing. Breakfast was superb. french toast to die for, and the included afternoon tea was a lovely touch. Ideal location, we walked everywhere.
Could not fault snything
Some of rooms don't have even window
Very good hotel. Amazing value for money while in Prague. Good breakfast selection. Good location - pretty and picturesque and near the castle. Leisurely 30 minute walk to old town. Friendly staff. Lovely design hotel. Comfortable. Quiet. Would definitely return.
Some of the rooms don't have external windows. One of the staff at breakfast never took our hot food order. Cobbles near hotel means traveling with big suitcases is difficult.
I am very happy with the overall "'package'' of staying at Vintage Design Hotel Sax (Prague). The hotel is very beautifully designed - with nice designer items and accessories complementing the entire layout of the hotel - from the rooms - reception area - and the dinning area. Also, I did'nt expect a laptop in the room - a very wonderful convenience for hotel guests. All the staff were courteous and friendly - starting with the receptionist(s) and dinning staff too. Certainly, I would recommend my friends from Singapore to stay at Vintage Design Hotel Sax, in Prague. Thank you !! & Best Regards - Francis Tan - Singapore - hotel guest on 7th-10th Nov 2014. ( my rating of the hotel - above 9.0 points )
No negative comments - enjoyed the stay at Vintage Design Hotel Sax - Prague.

Great location & helpful staff
Excellent location, walking distance to most popular places. Staffs are friendly and helpful, English speaking easy to communicate. Room is clean and neat.
Location was great for visiting all the key sites and the hotel itself was clean, comfy and they gave us free breakfast and afternoon tea, would highly recommend
The design, facilities, location and staff was excellent. I couldn't stop myself looking around. There is so much you can discover in the hotel. Every corner is made with love and passion that's obvious! As Pop Art fan you will love the hotel too. I would definitly come back.
Nothing I can complaint, really nothing, which is unbelievable I know ;-)
We do travel a lot. We've stayed in many hotels. But the one in Prague was outstanding. Breakfast with great choice of quality products, all tasty and fresh - you just don't won't to leave.... One more treat for a visitor - afternoon tea - served with something to nibble, in a nice surrounding with discreet (all the time at your disposal staff) - makes you feel at home. Design is great and brings memories back - if you remember 1980's toys and household goods from Easter Europe... Definitely will use the hotel again if in Prague again!
