Staff was friendly and the design of the hotel is nice
Don't accept room 17, 18 or 19 on the first floor! You don't have an outside window but only corridor window. For fresh air, you need to open this window so it is very noisy. Especially when breakfast starts at 7 am. The room is very warm and the airco smells. No value for money.
The style of the hotel was very cool. I had a deluxe double room and it was very nice. The washroom was very modern and clean. Breakfast was great and the coffe was good too. Front desk staff was very helpful and kind.
Very helpful staff, good selection of breakfast. Quite location and near to city centre. Intend to return soon.
Nice special interiour. Spacious rooms. Friendly staff. Good location: 5 min walk from center, not busy area.
Ridiculous expensive parking...on the street!!! Service during breakfast a bit slow: so the free pancakes or omelet are offered after stuffing yourself with the buffet.
Very nice hotel, exceptional vintage design and decor. Staff very friendly and area is very clean and safe!! Highly recommended!!
The hotel is particularly special because of the way is decorated, making our stay feel unique. Breakfast was tasty. The location for me was good - quieter than in the centre, and only 5-7mins walk from Charles Bridge. The hotel is on a *slight* hill, which will be a problem only if you have problems walking or are carrying a lot of things with you. If you explore a bit you can avoid the near-by touristic, meat-heavy restaurants and find more unique ones, or veggie and vegan ones.
The only negative point is the cost of parking: 22 euro a day for the on-street parking is extremely expensive. The coffee machine in the room is a nice touch, but the "2euro a cup" price sticker somewhat negated that nice touch (1euro would be nicer, and written more discretely)
Good breakfast and unexpected tea time everyday.safe area as there is police station nearby
Funky decor, huge room. Enjoyed the spa and sauna too! Great breakfast and free afternoon tea!
Cost of parking was pretty pricey
Everything is ok, especially disign and location, it's near to Hrad.
guy at the reception were firsr night ar hotel alone, he was nice but performed in totally amateur way, check in duration - 30 minutes, mess with key card functionality etc. From my point of view a big mistake od hotel management to keep untrained staff alone!
Design of the hotel and rooms Attentive staff Great breakfast Fantastic location Good service
Beautiful hotel, excellent interior design, and friendly staff.
As I am a Muslim, and it was my first experience to Prague. It's difficult to find Halal food in the city. If the hotel can provide the facilities of Halal food it will really help your Muslim visitors.
Design is top notch. Toiletries, bedding, food were all very good quality. Staff were more friendly than the average czech.
Wifi is not very reliable while in the rooms. Water pipes are noisy at night.
A kind of very unusual Hotel, as for 4*. With the name Vintage which is absolutely truly describe what You will see behind the main door. Everything here is served to kindly amaze You and show the great combination of modern comfortability and vintage style. - great location in old-Praha near the American and German embassy in a purely calm place within the 5-7 min of walk to one of the main Prague historical spots - Carl's Bridge. - the nearest interchange tram-stop is in 5 min by feet. - 24/hr reception with always kind and cheerful personnel, nice chill-zone and everything You need at chek-in/check-out like umbrellas, city-maps, etc. - 4 floors with some individual stylish decoration on each one, nice atrium and the terace on the last floor. There is a stylish elevator inside. - nice apartments with plenty of space, great air-conditioning (but not a split-system so You'll hear it is working). Two balconies in the room on the last floor are 1/2 sq metre size so it is for the one person only, but what a miracle view that one person can get! - Bathroom is of rather hi-tech style but with nice space and great shower-zone. All You need for spending some good time in bathroom is provided in proper quantity. - room-service on demand but allways of good quality. - wi-fi is free, works great and realy all over the Hotel. Notebooks are provided in the rooms. TV's with dvd, for not seeing the real Prague but watching some movies.
Everything! The staff were really nice and friendly; the location is awesome; the room is huge; the facilities are superb! We're definitely coming back here.
Excellent attention to detail with regards to the look of the hotel. Fun design elements everywhere. Excellent location, especially for visiting the Castle and Charles Bridge.
I wish as much attention to detail was given to the comfort of travellers. The hotel is very good (and I would stay here again) but missed on some minor things -- e.g. very few DVDs that they boasted about in the description are in English and hard to find. Shower is very difficult to get out of safely; breakfast buffet is ok. Minor details but surprising and given the attention to design, I'm surprised this attention was missing.
Amazing location, staff, accommodations....
The hotel's design is fantastic and everything is so nice and comfortable. Hotel location is the best - 5 minutes walk to Charles Bridge, yet in a quiet and nice neighborhood ( US Embassy is on the same street). Hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choices, all fresh and tasty. Wi-Fi was working just fine - sometimes a little slower but nothing really worth complaining about. I would definitely go back there.
My bed sheet had a few small holes (too much wear I believe) but was impeccably clean so it didn't bother me as much. The room carpet looked like it needed a professional clean (looked a little stained).
The hotel was simply great - it is very central, the room is big, nice facilities, they waited with some water and sweats in the room, it is a very nice, luxury hotel. the hotel is surrounded by beautiful buildings from 60s and 70s, and embassies, so a very secure place. at the entrance there is a picture of madelaine albright staying at this hotel. the breakfast was very good.
there is nothing that we did not like, everything was perfect.
1. Innovative adaptation of an old house to a modern, functional hotel plus consistency in design as even new elements (washing basins, taps, hangers or waste bins) were perfectly fitting the 50, 60 or 70 style of many original furniture, lamps and household utensils collected there. 2. Competent and helpful staff. 3. Very good breakfast, certainly in very stylish surroundings.
Carpets should be changed, maybe to a darker and more practical colour than orange.
I usually don't care about hotel decor, but this one really is interesting. Rooms were nice, quiet, secure, clean. Staff was very helpful. Location is perfect - quiet but near Charles bridge, park, etc. Breakfast was awesome, as was afternoon tea. Fresh fruit, lox... yum!
Although I stayed for only two days I was indeed very satisfied with my room ( I stayed on the second floor room 25). It was quiet, clean and equipped with a PC as promised when I booked it. The location is perfect as it is near various historical sites.I really liked the style and decoration of the hotel. The staff at the reception was warm and helpful. I was also very impressed by the professionalism of an employee who was responsible for the buffet(I think her name was Monica) who was low profile and eager to assist and serve you. I heartly reccommend this hotel and I will gladly stay in it when I visit Prague in the future.
The design of the hotel, grateful to had toiletries provided
It's a bit noisy as my room window face indoor and the restaurant was downstairs. I can easily hear them collecting the plate, vacuum. Soundproofing not very good.
Location Helpful Staff Great choice at breakfast Design of the hotel Price
Location is excellent, 10 minutes away from Charles Bridge, 7 minutes away from Prague's Castle. Instead of having all hustle and bustle of Prague, it is located in a residential area and close to the american embassy, in a very quite and safe area. Besides that, hotel decoration is amazingly fun, colorful, based on the 50's/60's decor. Breakfast and 5 o'clock tea were very tasteful too.
Wi-fi connection didn't work very well, signal strength was poor in the room, had to go downstairs in order to have it working.
