Only 400 metres away from Wenceslas Square, Hotel Legie is surrounded by bars and shops. It offers a 24-hour reception and free Wi-Fi in public areas. I.P. Pavlova Metro Station is just 30 metres...

In the very heart of Prague, the Hostel Homer is 215 yards from Old Town Square and 270 yards from both Wenceslas Square and Line-A and Line-B Můstek Metro Station.
Score from 153 reviews Very good
Located in the city centre, the Old Prague House offers free WiFi, a restaurant and mini-market in the same building, massages and a hair salon.

Sir tobys is a good second option
The recomendations of places to go
It was a little far from the center of Prague
nice people, friendly staff, free bbq, cheap breakfast, easy to get to the center (tram)
Sir Toby's has an eclectic vibe, the best hostel breakfast in existence, a great pub, rooms with character, a beautiful backyard with old sewing machine tables as searing, a huge, clean guest kitchen and great staff.
Honestly, everything is great!
Love everything about this place. Stay there every time I go to Prague and recommend to all my friends and family. Best part is the free BBQ and the amazing breakfast, good work guys :)
Can't really think of anything!
Awesome place. Must stay here.
Kind of a bad location, although it is close to the tram.
location is far to city
Great value for money have been staying for the past 15 years and it only gets better. Very friendly staff and good location
sorry the meditation room is no longer there
Staff were helpful, common areas were big and good for meeting people. Breakfast was also good for meeting people.
Room was too small for 12 people, and with no fan and the window closed, was stuffy and smelly in the morning. Top bunk was high. Beds could have had curtains all the way around for more privacy, and electrical outlets at each bed would have been helpful. I stayed at 7 hostels in total, and this was the only one that didn't provide towels or a lock.
10 min. by tram to the city centre
The staff was funny and nice.
Location and description aboit location was bad.
Helpful staff. Clean, quiet rooms. Great value.
A bit out of town. Only stayed one night, so didn't get to try out the bar!
EVERYTHING!!!! best hostel ever, definitly coming back.
nothing 2 complain
Great, helpful, friendly staff. Very cool old building with character and nice, wood antique furnishings. I stayed in a private room and it was spacious but also cosy. The hostel is to far from the city centre for walking but Prague has a great transit system so you just walk a 100m down the road and you have lots of options of trams.
The room doors make a tremendous amount of noise when they slam shut. I think they could add a few rubber bumpers or a bit of foam seal and this quick fix may make a lot of difference.
Friendliness of the staff Atmospheare at the bar
It is a bit far from towncentre, however, easy public trams.
I was pretty amazed, honestly. The hostel is designed and furnitured very tastefully, the staff is very nice, helpful and friendly. I also liked the breakfast (there are mixed eggs and dough prepared so you can make yourself fresh scrambled eggs or pancakes), music in the bar (the rolling stones while having a breakfast?), book exchange shelf and waste separation. I will definitely recommend this place to all friends travelling to Prague from now on.
The shower wasn't separeted from the rest of bathroom very well and so the floor gets wet easily, but it's not a big deal.
key cards for rooms. great layout , quiet in rooms, but great cellar bar for beer and music. non smoking! one of the classiest hostels ive stayed in. maybe the best!
must tram your way to city. but they provide tickets and day passes for sale at reception, so once your at tobys, your golden.
It was cold in the kitchen. Staff was a little bit uninterested.
Nice Rooms with good atmosphere Quiet Well organised
Amazing building, beautiful pub down stairs, great kitchen, friendly staff, activities most nights including trivia and free crepes!
The staff are all friendly, cheerful and helpful. I will definately stay with Sir Tobys in the future!
None, Everything is perfect!
Good location in a nice area of Prague that isn't too touristy. Large room (private, the blue sky room), good bed and shower. Okay breakfast, nice to have the ability to cook in the communal kitchen. Bike rental = cheap, very helpful and friendly staff.
no elevator to top floor (minor point), no airco which could be a problem when it is very hot and you stay in the blue sky room. Tiny point: the hostel says it is eco-friendly but uses energy inefficient halogen lamps in the room, and they built the mini bar into a closed cabinet (which of course becomes very hot, so the minibar has to work very hard to stay cool, and becomes noisy).
Very cheap. good for people who plan to travel with little money.
The location of the hostel is quite far from the old town. it takes quite long to get back to hostel especially at night because the tram and subways do not come so frequently during night. Also, the room was very dirty, with lots of dead bugs near the bed. Luggage room is very bad as well. Don't ever bother to use it. this hostel was the worst of all the seven hostels that i have visited.
