Huge halls, high ceilings in all rooms, the best of Soviet-style building efforts from the previous century. The complete opposite of "modern" but in a good way.

Our room was at the far end of the corridor, from where a Wi-Fi signal was not available - had to go out to the staircase

I loved my stay at Hotel Slovan due to the architecture and uniqueness of the hotel. It really is like stepping back in time, the decor is decades out of date, as is the furniture in the rooms. I stayed in the cheapest single room, half of the hotel has en-suite refurbished rooms I believe - how normal and boring!. The bed linen was clean and I had a great comfy sleep. Breakfast was self-serve buffet with a wide choice of continental offerings. The hotel also offers secure courtyard parking. Unfortunately I had no time to explore Plzen as was on a Ten Country Challenge, however I will return to explore the Czech Rep and stay in Hotel Slovan again.

When I booked the 2 double rooms it was infered that we would have a shared bath room...I didn't realise we would be sharing with the whole of the 3rd floor and that the showers were communal..and open (3 daughters and my wife refused to use them).Staff were ok but a bit distant .

The hotel is uncredible, between "Shining" and "Goes with the wind". Good location in center town and good breakfast.

We were in the cheapest room and really it's not confortable. I would advise to reserve the category most expensive, it looks more comfortable.

Das Slowan ist ein zwar altes, aber ehrwürdiges Hotel mit viel Charme. Die Lage ist zentral, aber dennoch ruhig. Wir hatten ein schönes, sauberes Zimmer mit einem sehr großen Bad mit Dusche und Badewanne. Das Frühstück im großen Restaurant war einfach, aber sehr angenehm, der Service zuvorkommend und freundlich.

Das Zimmer war leider mit Ausblick zum Hof und den parkenden Autos.

Mycket rent och snyggt. Stort rum, fantastisk badrum med stort hörnbadkar. Vacker interiör i hela hotellet.

V hotelu jsem si připadala,jako když jsem se vratila v čase,interier by určitě zasloužil velkou renovaci,nicméně pokoj byl čistý.Na jedno přespání OK.

la ubicación es inmejorable, esta muy cerca de la plaza central y es una vieja gloria. Decoracion exquisita. Recomendable para aquellos que busquen el lujo en la decoracion de otras epocas

společné WC a koupelna na chodbě, což mi při rezervaci nebylo zřejmé...

Struttura antica ma se guardi il tutto pensando al 1800 fantastico!

tout, l'immeuble historique, sa cage d'escalier et ses couloirs magnifiques. Chambre immense ! vue sur le parc. Salle de bain privée. Le tout pour un prix dérisoire. Parking surveillé à 6 euros par jour. Situation idéale.

Parking voor 6€ per nacht op de binnenplaats van het hotel en dus helemaal veilig. Locatie op één straat van het centrale plein en 2 discotheken om de hoek en toch geen geluidsoverlast. Briljante locatie.

Bij de portier kon er geen knikje af telkens hij moest open of dicht doen.

Vriendelijke mensen. Alles heel proper. Perfecte ligging voor ons reisdoel. Lekker en verzorgd ontbijt.

De ouderwetse infrastructuur maar desondanks was alles wel verzorgd en netjes.

Výtečná poloha, centrum města co by kamenem dohodil.

Každou noc řvali nadraní puberťáci pod oknama, v bloku A není soc. zařízeni a sprcha na pokoji, není zde ani wifi.

Uns hat besonders gefallen, dass das Hotel sehr zentral lag. Es ist wohl ein wundervolles Hotel mal gewesen, müßte aber dringend renoviert werden.

Das Frühstück hätte vielleicht etwas mehr Marmelade oder Brot haben können.

Der alte Baustil ist sehr sehenswert!

Leider ist auch die Ausstattung des Hotels in die Jahre gekommen! Eine gründliche Renovierung würde dieses Haus zu einem echten Knaller werden lassen!

Das Hotel ist stark renovierungsbedürftig und es mangelt an Sauberkeit.

Byla zde naprostá spokojenost. Jen tak dále.
