This is a true boutique-style hotel - luxuriously furnished and with great charm and character, located right in the heart of Prague, next to Wencelas Square.

The luxury shopping area of Na Prikope street is close by and most of Prague's historical monuments and tourist attractions are within walking distance. This is an ideal place for lovers of cultural events, as the State Opera is just 100 meters away and other cultural landmarks such as the concert hall of the Municipal House are as well accessible in a few minutes' walk.

Located in the centre of Prague just off Wenceslas Square, the city's cafes, restaurants, shops and all the major tourist attractions are just a short walk away from the hotel.

Disabled facilities:
The whole hotel area is accessible for wheelchairs. We also offer one especially equipped room! This room is suitable for 2 people.

Food & beverage

A buffet breakfast is served in the non-smoking restaurant from 07:00 until 10:00, on Saturday and Sunday from 07:00 until 10:30.

The restaurant and bar Epicure follows the axiom of the Greek philosopher Epicurus: “Happiness or enjoyment is the summum bonum of life”. Our chef, Mr. Pavel Zalesky has created a tempting combination of a standard menu and a daily choice of speciality dishes, based on the availability of fresh ingredients. So you will find something different on the menu every day.

The Epicure offers a wide selection of French and local wines and is fully air-conditioned. The Restaurant and bar is open daily from 11:00 to 23:00.

The hotel offers spacious and individually designed and furnished rooms with twin, king-size or queen-size beds, comfortable chairs and writing desks. All rooms are en suite with spacious bathrooms and are fully air-conditioned.

On the corner of Politickych Veznu and Opletalova Streets, the hotel is in the very heart of Prague’s historic city centre, next to the city’s famous Wenceslas Square and just 100 metres from Prague’s main train station, Hlavni Nadrazi.

The Hotel Sovereign is close to the luxury shops of the elegant Na Prikope Street and within walking distance of most of Prague’s beautiful historic monuments and tourist attractions. The National Museum, the State Opera, Old Town Square with the astronomical clock, the Jewish Quarter, the Municipal House, the National Theatre and many other attractions are all just a short walk away from the hotel.

East of the hotel lies the elegant area of Vinohrady with its charming architecture and gardens.

Polite restaurant staff, excellent food at lunch;

It was cold in the room- air-conditioning could not be controlled from within the room. At breakfast dietary food was poorly presented. At checking out, we left our luggage to the bell boy /our flight was later/. In ten minutes I apologised and asked him for my suitcase again. He was ovbiously not happy and quite rude in his comments, he was not aware I speak Check a little.

rooms very clean and comfortable, bar pleasant, if a bit empty

breakfast not great - especially the coffee - very weak and tasteless - no smell of coffee in the dining room!

The bed was very comfortable and having two 3/4 size duvet covers was a great idea. Breakfast was good. Vera at the front desk was particularly helpful. Room was a nice size and the elevators were better than our other hotel experiences in Europe. Free use of computer with internet in the lobby was nice.

Many of the facilities have very limited hours. Also, there were some teenage staff clearing breakfast tables that were not very professional (appearing to be snickering about guests and socializing while other staff worked).

The hotel was just of Wenceslas Square so really close to bars/restaurants/shops (all you need for a great weekend)!! Very clean and luxurious.
