The completely renovated 4-star Hotel Golden Tulip Prague Terminus is located in the immediate vicinity of Prague’s most important sights - Wenceslas Square, Old Town Square and Charles Bridge.

Our hotel was originally built in 1884 by the famous Czech architect František Heberle in Art Nouveau style. The beautiful façade of the building is especially impressive. Many restaurants, bars and cafés are just a few minutes’ walk away.

Saturday through Sunday from 07:00 to 11:00.

The Lobby Bar is open daily from 15:00 to 03:00.

All 65 rooms have an average size of 25 m² and are decorated in cream and white hues. There is one barrier-free room for disabled guests.

Proximity to everything

First impression was not good as it is located opposite a train station and right at a major junction of about 5 roads. No problem with noise though.

Near to most sights of interest

Staff were curt. There was tea and coffee making facilities in the room, but you were only provided with one tea bag each per day and they would not give you any more. The room walls were in need of being painted as they were grubby.

Although it is within walking distance to the centre, it is located opposite the ring road and that part of the Hybernska street is surrounded by drug dealers and their customers as well as having a really scruffy sex shop, a military shop and a weird "club".

Although the hotel entrance was not grand, our room was very nice - spaceous and well equipped. The breakfast was superb.

The walk to the train station from the hotel through the city park at night was a bit scary. It was a bit farther than I thought and the hotel front which is hard to find is not well lit.

It is near the central station.

The moquette was dirty. My room was on the -1 floor, even if there was with a big window near the roof that was not so nice.
