Food & beverage

The Old Inn Hotel restaurant is a sought after location, thanks to its position right on the main square in Český Krumlov. The staff, dressed in period costume, serve first-rate Czech and international cuisine. The restaurant also has a summer garden, where you can watch the lively activity on the square. Seasonal specialities can be chosen from a special gourmet calendar. The restaurant opens from 10.00 until 22.00. Book ahead to avoid disappointment.

The hotel's old underground catacombs will enchant you with their remarkable atmosphere. Here, delicacies are prepared right in front you on charcoals, as in the Middle Ages. The catacombs are open from 17.00 until 01.00.

Láb, the hotel's classic Old Bohemian pub, has excellent beer and typical Czech cuisine. During important sports events Láb changes into a small sports bar, where you can watch matches on the projection screen. The restaurant opens at 11.00 and closes at 22.00, or 15.30 on Sundays.

A full buffet breakfast is served in the main hotel restaurant from 07.00 until 10.00.

Area information

Cesky Krumlov is a fairly small, but delightful town in the south of the Czech Republic, sited around a meandering bend in the Vltava river. Much of the architecture around the castle and old town dates back to periods between the 14th and 17th centuries. You shouldn't have to look far to see examples of this and of fine art also.

Egon Schiele Art Centre (200m) - Very close to the hotel is this art centre offering art from 20th century personalities.

Regional Museum (100m) - Besides displaying a variety of artifacts, the hotel offers brilliant panoramic views from its windows.

Location, room gave us the feeling going back in history.

Staffs were generally unfriendly and some were actually rude and not helpful except the receptionist and security manager at the time of our chick in were very nice and helpful. Nearby Disco noise.

Excellent location. Large, clean room.

Mediocre restaurant. Breakfast is supposed to go until 10am but the staff start cleaning up noisily before 9:30 instead of replenishing the buffet.

the staff were courteous and spoke english, room very comfortable. Breakfast offered a huge amount of choice, really excellent. really enjoyed our stay, at the fab town of Cesky Krumlov. We were offered a lift to the bus station by one of the members of staff (maybe the manager) but such a lovely warm day we decided to walk

The hotel was very spacious. Facilities are good, but because it was winter, they were not available (eg: gym/sauna not open, pool was empty of water).

The decor was a bit dusty. The curtains and floor carpets could do with a good wash/clean.

Everything. This was the 3rd time we've stayed in Cesky, and this is by far the best hotel in this price range.
