For a reasonable Price, you get great comfort and space only 100m away from the Charles Bridge and a short walk from the Hradzin. The Best about the Hotel is its uniqueness. Placed in an old house, every room seems to be individually furnitured and is equipped with wooden ceilings and wooden floors. Great Design if you like boutique characters, really friendly staff and a great location. The elevator was in a condition that seemed to need maintenance, giving us a bit of claustrophobic feeling when it did not open well two times. The breakfeast is ok, but the juice for example seems mixed with water or of a minor quality. The rooms and friendliness of staff totally neutralize such things though. |

Centrally located, a very short walk to Charles Bridge and within walking distance of all the attractions; staff very helpful especially Monika in giving directions; great breakfast/nice ambience; really loved the room with the exposed beams and the view of St. Vitus Cathedral. |

The big and very nice room. The friendly staff. The location of the place. The noise from the tourists in the street at night. |

The hotel staff were very helpful, the room was clean and the bathroom newly fitted. We really enjoyed our stay and would return to The Charles again in the future. |

The hotel was not double glazed and as a consequence there was some street noise. |

The Location of the Hotel was perfect if you want to enjoy the main sights and sounds of Prague (Charles Bridge and Prague Castle). It is literally next to the Charles Bridge! It is fantastic value for money also, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It was chilly and snowing when we stayed and the heating was a life-saver!! I would not hesitate to stay here again next time I am in Prague. |

The Charles was a fantastic hotel very warm and welcoming especially as it was minus five outside. It is a great location virtually on the Charles Bridge in easy distance to the Castle and all the main attraction. Breakfast was good plenty of choice and staff were pleasant. Will be back There was No milk for coffee |

Great hotel, very conveniently located just over the Charles Bridge in a quieter part of the city. Friendly, helpful staff; good breakfast; nice, clean rooms. Would recommend the jazz bar next door for a great choice of cocktails! |

The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great and had a good variety. The location was excellent. The room was great. The bathtub was a little small and there was no shower, but that's a very small complaint for what you get with this hotel. |

The Charles is a lovely, very charming little hotel. The beds are so comfortable! Great mattress's and bedding. This was my second stay at the hotel and would consider staying there again. The location was central and convenient. There was no air conditioning in the rooms and was very hot while we were there. Had to open up the windows but with the windows facing the main street was very noisy. Also had a lovely little pub just next door but again, with the windows open was quite noisy. |

Excellent location in a beautiful part of the city. Very big comfortable room, very comfortable bed. Nice breakfast. Hot water/ shower facilities were excellent also. No air conditioning, and very noisy due to refurbishment going on. Tea/ coffee facilities in rooms would be nice. |

Convenient location to sites. Large room, great for a family with small children. Located on a busy street, and with no ac you need to have the windows open to stay cool. However, this prevents a sound nights sleep. Poor bedding and thread bare towels as well. Not a 4 star hotel. |

The location is excellent with close proximity to Prague Castle and the Charles Bridge. You can walk to the Old Town Square and most other points of interest. It is am unbelievably beautiful and historic city. Like many hotels in Europe the Bathtub had high sides making it very difficult to get into and out of when taking a shower. I am a 76 and this would be less of a problem for someone younger. The free breakfast was marginal with an unfriendly attendant. One morning clerk had difficulty with English. |

The Charles is situated in a fantastic location and is a beautiful old building. Our room was HUGE and had a view of the street below. The breakfast could be improved. Also the laundry service is a bit unreliable. |
