The location was perfect. Just a few steps away from the Charles Bridge, and a couple of blocks away from the castle. Most of the front desk workers were great. It was the night front desk worker that could have been a little more accomidating.

Location of the hotel is magnificent. It takes 5-10 minutes walk to any tourist mustsee place in Prague. Very convenient. If anything - no bathrobe or slippers are served

Magnificent room design, great location from a tourist perspective My room was extremely noisy at night. A dance club directly below me and loud street noises kept me awake much of the night. I suspect other rooms would not be affected as much.

This hotel was exactly what we expected......fabulously located.....pleasant staff...and very well priced for it's class and individual style. We were given a very pretty attic room....(best as above street noise), with lovely views. A wonderful choice of hotel...... And the bonus of always having freshly brewed coffee available in the lobby, was a lovely touch on those wintry days!:) Thank you for a wonderful stay:).....and Peter....your porridge was fab!:) Annoyingly..... Our room was not serviced one day on our return. Other guests also comlained.....but we were all told we'd put do not disturb on our doors>>>>infuriating!!!! It would seem that the "do not disturb", and" please clean my room sign", is hard to distinguish the difference by the staff who don't speak english (ie, all of housekeeping!:). I would suggest a colour code bar to stick on door.....to indicate your wishes very clearly!!!.

All superb. This really is a home from home which is what they say they set out to achieve. Excellent location. Superb breakfast. Even when we had to leave for an early flight at 5am, the hotel provided us with a superb 'breakfast to go'. Room was clean and spacious. We had an attic room so less street noise from the street. Perhaps only very slight niggle was the shower was a hand held shower and would have preferred a shower cubicle or at least a hook to hook up the shower head in order that we could stand uder it without having to hold it up ourselves. But would most certainly recommend to family and friends and have done so already. We are fairly fussy and not easily pleased but The Charles was one hotel that did meet our requirements. There's even a lounge area where you can make complimentary tea / coffee. Plus tea / coffee making facilities in the room. Plus a complimentary PC to use in the lounge if you do not have your own. Useful for checking in flights and checking emails etc. So all wonderful and well worth a visit. Prague itself is very interesting too. Perhaps better to find your own restaurants though rather than follow hotel staff reception. We always prefer to steer clear of the tourist traps. All excellent with exception of shower - as explained.

fantastic location at a distance 100m from the Charles Bridge the price is completely inadequate to the quality, the hotel does not seem neat, noisy pigeons outside the window, small bathroom, poor breakfast in the cramped basement with no windows, accompanied by fumes from the kitchen, part of the tables in a distant room, after paying a parking fee at another hotel a few hundred meters away, you need to find a masked parking a few streets away

The atmosphere of the building was amazing. The price was so low for such high quality accomodations. The street noise from our room was very disturbing. Also, the hotel cleaning staff was making a lot of noise outside of our room every morning before 7am. They were being very noisy getting cleaning supplies and other things out of a closet next to our room and laughing and carrying on. These were the only 2 things we didnt appreciate about our stay.

Fantastic location for a city break in Prague as is right by the Charles Bridge. The room was lovely, clean and well heated. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Central location so noisy outside which was to be expected, hoovering between 7-8am in the morning however was not expected or welcome! Breakfast was below par. Went down at 9.30 to find no tables, no food and nothing being refilled and was ignored when enquired to the staff if they were going to bring more out. It was a nice hotel although small. I wouldn't describe it as particularly romantic or luxurious but it was a good base to get out and see the city.

I would not recommend this hotel, because after my stay, they debited from my credit card money for a drink from the minibar that I did not take. Without contacting me, without asking. This made me feel like a thief and it is an abuse of my credit card number. I am using booking.com since longtime and such thing never happened to me. Very disapponting. Therefore - this hotel never again!

Location was phenomenal, members of the hotel staff were very, very kind and professional, hotel is clean, rooms are very nice, with big toilets and separated bathroom, you get free snacks in hotel.Very nice place to stay. Room on the rooftop could be bigger, elevator is little bit crazy, and wardrobe is not big enough for 2 persons in the room for two

Very nice and spacious room, friendly and helping stuff, varying breakfast, free WiFi everywhere! Close to Karlov Bridge, castle and the city center. Cheap and good thai massage nearby ;) We've really enjoyed our staying! There was no hair conditioner, only the shampoo. Otherwise, no complaints! :)

Location, room size (it was the Junior suite) and overall facilities were good for a city break. Reception staff didn't live up to the service standards or the basic friendliness you'd expect from a 4star hotel or any star hotel, bordering on rude.
