Rooms with lots of character. Very central location. Helpful staff.
Noise at night but to be expected downtown with a street-front room.
Excellent location, lovely old-style hotel, lounge area downstairs with tea/coffee facilities for guests (e.g. while waiting for taxi), very nice breakfast, great restaurant close by
Wardrobe door would swing open if not closed properly and block access to bed (minor detail), no proper shower (bath with hand-held shower head)
Helpful and polite staff
绝佳的地理位置，卫生间很大，非常不错的早餐。 great location, big bathroom, very nice breakfast.
the head of shower can't be fixed on the wall, have to be hold by hand all the time. and there is no curtain, lead to water splashed out of shower area. 莲蓬头挂不住，需要手持洗澡，没有浴帘，洗完澡满地都是水！
Location was okay (although better locations at other side of river). Clean. Staff friendly.
Breakfast nothing special. Loud pub downstairs with noise until early hours of morning 1-2am. Early wake up due to traffic and pedestrian noise outside from around 7am.
Location was as good as it gets. The receptionist Samir is a real asset with excellent business skills. He is highly organized and has a great facilty in english and french. He was also a very knowledgeable and helpful resource for pulling together the logisitics (train and taxi arrangements, currency exchanges, etc.) for day trips and return trips to Prague. He has a friendly personality and a business-like approach. He should be trained for a position in management.
Some very loud noise from young drinkers in the street at night but to be expected in a room fronting the street in such a central location. Would prefer breakfast hours to be extended from 10 to 11 AM.
The staff were extremely helpful , great location , big rooms ,though the breakfast was a little poor for a four star hotel ...
Breakfast was good, facilities were very nice for a hotel of it's age. Location was superb, easy to walk to the Charles bridge and across town as well as metro and trams and a great selection of food options.
The vintage style & the staff & service
The from the bar at night
Staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very nice. The hotel is in an amazing location, just near Charles Bridge, and fairly close to transport.
The staff were extremely helpful & friendly. They arranged tours, taxis, & gave directions to places of interest.
Taking a shower was a challenge because of very tight space.
Location, location, location! And the room is big.
No elevator from 3th to 4th floor, so we have to carry our heavy luggages up to those stairs
Room was fantastic - bathroom and all within where all top quality as was the linen / beds very comfortable - breakfst adequate
Busy road and as we sleep with the windows open some times late night/ early morning revellers ! But didn't really keep us awake Breakfast area bit " dungeon"like but to be expected for the cellar - bit stuffy & humid whilst eating etc
We paid for a suite and it was a large and comfortable room with a lot of space. Once in our room we were happy as it was comfortable (though not as pretty as it appears in the photos) and the location was very convenient for sight seeing - although very touristy. However the hotel staff, breakfast and general attitude was not pleasant and we would not stay there again or recommend the hotel.
The bathroom in our room was unsafe - there was a shower / bath that was very slippery, and the shower head pointed at an odd angle that made it difficult to stand comfortably in the shower. The reception staff were ok. One of the 3 staff we met during our 4 day stay was very rude and unhelpful. We asked for tips on sight seeing in the city and he said we should read the map. We requested assistance calling a taxi as we had bags and a young baby. He called a car (we suspect it was one of his friends) that charged significantly more than the standard fare. The breakfast room was in the basement. The breakfast was basic but fine. The room was run down and full of small flies / midgies. And the service staff were not friendly.
Rooms and staff superb
Breakfast awful waste of time
The old world charm, The helpfulness of the staff. The location at the foot of the Charles bridge. The value for the price.
The position of the hotel is just great, even though can get quite busy as the main walking rout from Prague castle to Charles Bridge is just around corner. Man at the reception was very helpful and friendly. Large bedrooms, good breakfast. Many thanks:-)
Very hidden entrance from the street.
Staff very friendly and knowledgeableja
The bathroom was lovely…the shower refreshing. Appreciated the large fluffy towels!
Second night room
Promised refund on first room.it never happened.
Best location in Prague, beautiful building , comfortable rooms.
Bad coffee at breakfast.
We had a room for 3 which was huge, clean and the bathroom was very nice. We only slept for one night since we went for a pre-wedding party close to the Charles bridge, the location was perfect. Nice ceilings :)
Breakfast was not so good, but ok Difficult to park The hotel parking is more expensive than parking which is 10min walk from the hotel (the other parking was 450 CZK for day, hotel parking was double.
Comfortable beds Very central location Good price
Breakfast wasn't fantastic-just ok!
