Hotel zastrzega sobie prawo dokonania pre-autoryzacji karty kredytowej przed przyjazdem Gościa.
Podczas wojen husyckich posiadłość ta została spalona, a następnie w 1503 roku odbudowana. W okresie renesansu, w drugiej połowie XVI wieku obiekt ten przeszedł gruntowny remont. W 1686 roku zbudowano trzecie piętro, które zostało utrzymane w stylu barokowym. Patronami budynku są lwy, które znajdują się na fasadzie budynku, wychodzącej na ulicę Mostecka, na wysokości trzeciego piętra. Z ulicy Josefska widać wczesnobarokowy portal. W 1865 roku zbudowano schody, prowadzące z piwnicy aż na poddasze.
Hotel Charles założono w 1890 roku. Ostatni remont został tu przeprowadzony w 2008 roku.

Hotel położony jest w samym sercu Malej Strany (Małe Miasto), przy drodze prowadzącej do Zamku Praskiego. Dobre restauracje znajdują się w odległości krótkiego spaceru od hotelu. Do tramwaju, którym dostać się można do każdej części miasta, jest stąd tylko minuta piechotą. W podobnej odległości znajduje się stacja metra Malostranska.

Duże, stylowe, komfortowe pokoje. W jednym z pokoi nie działała klimatyzacja. Bardzo małe pomieszczenie przeznaczone na śniadania i relatywnie ubogie menu śniadaniowe jak na ten standard hotelu. Przy otwartym oknie bywa dość głośno. |

The room was so perfect! Everything was clean and comfortable and the location was great: so close to Charles Bridge and just 10 min. walk from the central square.Good breakfast and great staff.The room was really "intimate" and the bathroom really clean-Easily reachable and good price.I would really suggest to stay here. |

It was a very well maintained interesting old building which added to the charm of a very old city. The staff was very helpful and knew the city well. The room was clean and still had that old charm feel. The breakfast was very good. The location was superb, very close to the bridge. |

The unusual rooms, decor and fantastic location to everything you need while staying at prague We had to change rooms after the first night due to the noise outside our bedroom but room changed to had a great night sleep. Also wireless internet, although there was an available computer downstairs i was there for business/leisure and could not connect to the internet due to reception/signal strength etc no good internet use availble in the rooms |

We walked right past the anonymous facade of the hotel, but once opening the main door we were stunned.. Newly renovated boutique hotel in perfect location just in between the royal castle and the old town on the other side of the river. 10 min walk to reach the main attractions in Prague. The style of the hotel is modern , yet maintaining the historic feeling. Really helpful & service minded staff, grand room with nice and clean atmosphere, and delicate bathroom. The restaurant where they serve breakfast is however not renovated - and gives a bad first impression - but the range and taste of buffet selection gave us a positive surprise. We can also reccomend the jazz bar to the right of the entrance - laidback atmosphere with lots of charm The room only had mirror on the bathroom. When getting ready for a night out (and more than 1 person sharing room) it would have been useful to have a full figure mirror. Also, the windows facing the street are quite thin - we could hear any noise outside.. |

The Charles is a nice hotel. our room in 4. floor was spacious. The Charles has great location in Praha, just a few steps and you were on the Charles brigde I am sorry to say it, but the breakfast buffe was bad. The selection of different food was not good. There where no eggs or bacon left when we came to eat, and all the tables where occupied. a bit small for breakfast locations i think. Otherwise i am very happy with our stay in The Charles |

Very comfortable beds and bedding! Plentiful breakfasts with good, fresh food. Enjoyed the antique furniture and cozy aspect of the rooms. Loved being so close to the Charles Bridge - very central in town! Our bedroom - #302, had a shower that every time you took a shower - the entire bathroom floor flooded. When I asked the staff for a curtain - they just offered more towels. Also - occasionally the noise from the downstairs pub was very loud - but this was when we first had a room on the Josefska side. The breakfast dungeon needs air conditioning - very hot! If the rooms had air-conditioning - that would be a big plus too! |

i'll start with the wonderfull and special stuff ,and i want to point each one of them . they were kind and helpfull about any help we needed every day i was there . the room we stayed was like they build it right now ,clean ,comfortable , quiet , romantic , and in one word facinating for young couple . |

For a reasonable Price, you get great comfort and space only 100m away from the Charles Bridge and a short walk from the Hradzin. The Best about the Hotel is its uniqueness. Placed in an old house, every room seems to be individually furnitured and is equipped with wooden ceilings and wooden floors. Great Design if you like boutique characters, really friendly staff and a great location. The elevator was in a condition that seemed to need maintenance, giving us a bit of claustrophobic feeling when it did not open well two times. The breakfeast is ok, but the juice for example seems mixed with water or of a minor quality. The rooms and friendliness of staff totally neutralize such things though. |
