Central location, helpful staff, amazing surroundings.
Shared Bathroom, Small elevator or 10+ flights of stairs, old feeling not very new or modern.
Facilities are good.
I don't like mixed dorms, but I guess most people do. I wasn't able to stay for breakfast, so can't comment on that.
It's a good hostel that is clean, they have a great security system with a code and the breakfast is alright too.
The only problem we had was that we came with a car and rented a parking place but the registration process was so compilcated and we did not know what we should do with the car in this time.
The location's really good, the staff's nice and helpful, everything is super clean, there's a wide variety of tasty food for breakfast.
It's a little bit expensive but for a hostel in the city center the price is relatively good.
The surroundings, the kitchen, the breakfast, the aeria where the hostel is lokatet, the stuff is very friendly,
some other guest where a bit noise at night
But next day she has apologised and gave me two free nights
She first didn't found my reservation through internet
The Good Location in the Center of prague
The had no chair and was very por and very loud, very hot so it. was hard to sleep
This place is probably the cheapest place in the city center, they serve a decent or even good breakfast
The hostel is located above a nightclub, there's people on the streets till 4 every night, and they're loud. No airconditioning, so the only way to cool the room; leave the window open. Don't expect any sleep, as trash-collectors and normal city life starts at 6
location- hostel is really close to the Old Town. the rooms are clean. the stuff was very kind and helpful.
Because of the currency conversion we must pay more than it was in booking.com even if we had to euros!!
It has a great price, location and clean rooms/toilets. I had the chance to be alone for 2 nights in a 16-beds room, so :)) And it includes breakfast for a very reduced price.
Maybe a bit noisy outside on weekends, but there are double windows. Shouldn't be a problem for you.
1.good location 2.fair price
1.the dormitory is so hot that I wake up around 3:00 or 4:00 am in the night and can't sleep anymore, both two days in my stay! 2. the shower is in the toilet, and the toilet is shared by around 30 people... Are you kidding me?
Location is great and the staff is very helpful.
there is much nightlife around the hostel but it's still very quiet in the rooms so you can have a good sleep. Also big tourist attractions or a shopping centre are near so you do not really need the public transport. The breakfast is ok for the price but nothing special. Also the bathrooms were totally fine for this price.
the matress was quite uncomfortable (it had a dent)
+ Staff + Location (in the city center)
- Noisyness of other travellers, no chance for sleeping
good position in the city
what u see...is a lot less than you pay for.
Travellers is located conveniently near the main tourist locations! the staff were friendly and thorough. the hostel management were very hospitable and forthcoming!
security : the hostel could benefit from an open style reception area where security risks during the evening could be reduced with staff being the first contact if people are to walk into the site. (this would require a redesign of the entrance of the hostel) the code system on the door is effective, however timely and distracting for staff to reproduce a revised access code daily to all persons staying after 11.30am (multiple night stays) - perhaps a simple card system like that of "generators hostels" could work for access to the main door and floor doors.. expensive initially however it would reduce the amount of interuptions staff get while serving new / potential clients - when current clients approach reception for new codes at 11.30am. The wifi system could be more unified throughout the hostel with the use of wifi boosters and less wifi hotspots which actually interfere with each other and limit the connectability. (if each floor were to have a booster to share the same one wifi internet connection - then it would be more effective and less hassle for clients / staff). the laundry service - several items were lost during a load of washing, possibly mixed in with another clients and given to them..?
Good location. Good breakfast.
Was kicked out of my room at midnight because the night clerk made a 'mistake' and gave me the wrong room. Was assured by the manager they would make it up to me. Did nothing. Would be nice if the common room was made into more of a gathering area. INTERNET does not work properly in rooms. Judging from other reviews, this is an ongoing issue. Staff assured me they 'would look into it', knowing full well that it is a systemic problem.
The location is brilliant, just a stone throw away from the heart of Prague (Old Town Square, Jewish Quarter etc.). The staff is extremely friendly and helpful from receptionists to cleaning personal. The rooms are spacious and clean as are the bathrooms. The breakfast is good and well selected. Really nothing to complain about this place and certainly one of the best quality/price ratio locations you can find in Prague!
Perfect for 7 lads on holiday for the weekend. We were on a stag do for 3 nights and it was in prime location for a load of bars. Not too far a walk from anywhere either.
Aircon would have been desirable as it was uncomfortably warm. The beds were a bit hard too but after a night out you tend not to care! Breakfast was average
- extremely well located - delicious local breakfast - very gentle staff
- difficult to sleep because of, sometimes, but not always, unrespectful groups, which gets out at 11.30 PM and come back at 3.30 AM, without switching off the light, shouting, drinking...
It is central, very close to many points of touristic interest has internet access. The staff is very nice.
Poor bath equipment, no table in the room.
Totally enjoyed my stay
Amon the check in guy was fantastic. When we got there he told us our private room had been destroyed, and that the only option we had was a 10 bed mixed dorm. At first we were quite worried but he was able to calm us down and help us get settled in. Shared bathrooms were very clean.
Lots of elderly people staying there so noise had to be kept to a minimum at least on our floor
The location and the brekfast are amazing! Very nice and spacious dorm rooms!
The bathrooms were rather small for so many people on each floor.
