The hotel was ok for the money what we paid but it not definitelly 4 star hotel. I would give maybe 3 star. . The pictures on the website are probably 10 years old as they don't match the rooms, everything was damaged ( wall, doors in the bathrooms ). Hotel needs to be renovated as its old fashioned. Breakfast was ok but again not for the 4 star hotel. TV is small and plus its not working properly

Obliged a little early check in. Cleanliness was excellent. Supported an unscheduled request for early break fast. Rooms are very economical. Airport drop service was excellent and economical. I desired a coffee maker in the room. There was no provision for this. I had reserved for my colleague also. There was some difficulty in billing each of us separately.

I liked everything about it..The hotel rooms were very very spacious.. Rooms were clean and complete with all the facilities like TV, Wi-Fi, Toiletries, Chairs, Tables, lot of furniture, balcony... The hotel is also only 1 min walk from 2 tram stops so it was very easy and comfortable to reach to main city center with direct tram connections... Breakfast was very good and was included in the cost... And not but not the least, the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful... This hotel is Best Value for Money Hotel.. I would recommend it to all..

Hotel had nice bar and food was good in restaurant. Room clean and modern. Easy access to metro to get into centre of Prague. Quiet location. It is probably not quite what we would class as 4 star in Britain but I never find hotels abroad to be on the same levels. It was still a 3/4 star.

The rate, €29 the first night and €49 the second was good. The room was comfortable if a bit small. It was clean and had a decent bath. The staff at the desk were helpful and were friendly. Travel to the center was easy once we communicated efficiently with the man at reception. The car was parked for free due to available space outside the hotel. Was very difficult to find the place due to directions I took down off Google maps, darkness, one-way streets, and poor signage. A phone call to the hotel had us discover we were a stones throw from it when we were turned around and not sure where to go. I literally got out of the car and walked around a corner and there it was! But the roads to it from where I was parked were all one-way. Being late enough at night, I just went the short distance, less than 100 meters, and parked outside the hotel. Room was on the small side. Desk staff spoke little English which made it difficult for us to understand directions. Breakfast early one morning saw perhaps half the serving dishes empty, no spoons, milk, etc and no clean tables to sit at. I flagged a woman down from the kitchen and told her this, she shook her head in an understanding gesture and went back into the kitchen where things looked relaxed back there! I told the woman at reception and she immediately left her station and got things rolling in the breakfast area. Suddenly people started appearing from no where cleaning tables and restocking the buffet. It was the worst breakfast experince in memory. It took them quite a while to stock everything. This was 2 1/2 hours before breakfast was due to end. I'm going to say the breakfast dabacle was a "freak" occurance and recommend this property.

We were told that there is some technique problem and we can't live in there. However, we were arranged to another hotel with the same rome. Hotel Troja has tram just near the door. The arranged one is more near to the city, however far to the public transportation.

Although I requested a room with balcony and had to stay in the one with a window it was great! The full view of the city was hidden by hotel's wing on the left and another building on the right but I was still able to see the castle and St. Vitts cathedral. Breakfast was great, the location for those planning a city tour is perfect - the hotel is located near Kobylisy metro station - 15 minutes from the city center. Staff's English was not perfect... The room could be bigger.

Good breakfast bufet, friendly staff I asked at the reception desk if I had to pay anything else apart from what I hadpaid with the credit card when booking the room and was told that my accomodation bill was ready without any need to pay extra. Then it turned out that we got the wrong room ,( a double for 4 people), so after one night we were transferred to a bigger one . Then, on departure I was asked to pay something extra for one child, which I kindly refused to do.

“I would have been crazy not to stay here.I was told Prague is a 'must see' and they were so right. I chose this hotel blind with no prior knowledge of Prague. Amigo is very good value, it's spotless, well appointed (the bathroom was almost as big as the bedroom in my Paris Hotel) breakfast is excellent and the staff are wonderful - friendly and so helpful. I enjoyed the 10 minute walk to and from Wenceslas Square. It was recently refurbished and the sensible thing by management was to ensure staff were trained to an optimum level. Amigo and staff capped off a fabulous stay.” Evangelos, Helensvale |
