Location of Hotel Tyl was in city center and excellent “From the airport take a bus 119 to DEJVICKA, take a metro to MUZEUM, change line „A“ to line „C“ and get out at first station, I.P.PAVLOVA, hotel Tyl is approximately in front of you”. You can use a transfer ticket, 26 koron=1.1 Euro, that was valid for 75 minutes with all public transport e.g. bus, tram, train. The rooms were quite quiet, clean and very good organized. Staff was really friendly and helpful. I think value for money is excellent. By the way, there is a supermarket near the Hotel as well.

Helpful staff. Good location for the metro station. Overall very good price we payed for the three days. Breakfast was a bit poor. No decent bar or services if you wanted a quick sandwich. No facilities for tea and coffee in the rooms.

Wonderful hotel! We were very pleased, rooms are very beautiful , staff are very helpful. The location is just perfect - it's 10 minutes walk from the city center, and also the hotel located by metro station. The price is just great for this hotel. The breakfast was very tasty and satisfying. I loved absolutely everything!! We had really good time and enjoyed our stay at Tyl. We came to Prague to get married, and when the hotel staff heard about this, they upgraded our room to bigger room! P.S- very recommended!!

Location is right on Tram Line 22 and metro I p Pavlova is round the corner. Tylova namesti is a quiet square two blocks away from the National Museum and Wenceslas Square. Staff are professional and accessible. Room cleaning was somewhat superficial, no vacuuming, bed linen was not changed in 9 nights, but bath towels were replaced daily. Breakfast was OK but the spread is static. Staff were overwhelmed on a couple of occasions.

Just great hotel, All was nice and super , personal was just amazing , from kitchen workers till reception. Everyone so nice, speaking czech, english , russian. Just liked the rooms , all in old style. Everyone helped us. The kitchen also is great. There were ants in the room on 6 floor, neither our room ,neither my wife's parents room. The fifth floor where my parents have stayed have no ants. Not to much trouble but have a little uncomfortability

We stayed on the 1st floor (street side). Very nice and chic hotel with airco and free wifi. Extremly friendly personel. The hotel is about 100m from the underground station I.P. Pavlova. The nearest supermarket (Tasco) is 200m away from the hotel. A lot of people complained in their review about the noise from the street if you have a room at the street side. You will hear almost nothing if you leave the windows closed! Even if you have them open, the noise is not annoying.

Very good location close to National museum and walking distance from touristic places. Lively quarter, choice of restaurants around the hotel as well as one supermarket (Tesco Express). Room was quite large with a very clean bathroom and a small minibar. Not noisy despite the proximity of the trams. You have to give a deposit of 20 euros to obtain the key of the safe located in your room.

The reception staff were warm and welcoming. The hotel is close to the Metro and tram stop, making trips around the city easy. It is also within walking distance of the old town centre. The hotel is clean, and free access to a computer and internet in the reception area was useful. We booked "double or twin", but the "double" that we ended up with was actually two single mattresses pushed together on a double bed's base, which inevitably drifted apart during the night. We were also provided with 2 single duvets, instead of a double. We brought this to the attention of the reception staff, requesting a double duvet in particular, but for some reason we weren't able to get an alternative. The reception staff were friendly, but the staff at breakfast could have been more so. They were courteous when we left the breakfast room but a smile or other acknowledgement when we arrived each morning would have made us feel more welcome.

It is convenient for shops, main station and escaping to Vishyrad. Excellent breakfast, with lovely bread to complement the variety of ham cheese and jams. Friendly and courteous staff This visit we had uncomfortable pillows. I'm sure we have had better ones before.

Staff were all friendly and helpful. Location was fine. If you enjoy a walk it is about 20min to the Old Town which I did with no problems. It is also just around the corner from the Metro line which I also used. Hotel furnishings were a little on the older side, but it catered for all my needs and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Free wifi which was great.

Very good location. The staff's hospitality. Nice breakfast. Good wi-fi. Good room size. Minibar. Air Conditioner. We booked a double room, but we stayed at a twin room. The mattresses are very soft, the sheets were too short and did not fit right on the bed and the pillows are uncomfortable.

Hotel is very close to city centre (34-40 min walking to charles bridge) or catch a tram and be there in a flash. Safe neighbourghood, always easy to find a pub (beer garden) to have a bite. Breakfast decent, lacking vegetables though (considering ir was summer time). Would definitely reccomend to others.

The staff were very polite and helpful and the we had wild range of foods for breakfasts. Clean and tidy rooms. Thank you for these. I just did not like the bed because a few times I slipped between the two matresses.
