Hotel staff were great. Very helpful. Room was surprisingly good. Great location. We had a great room, although some rooms facing the next door pub might have something else to say. Very close to the Metro. I think that this hotel is excellent value for money.

We found the staff helpful and very friendly. We were allocated a very nice quiet room which we appreciated. The breakfast provided a good and very varied selection of food. All round we had a good experience at Hotel Tyl and would recommend it others. Thanks to everyone at the hotel from Hugh & Mary Woods

Personnel very friendly and helpful, especially Elena. Very good hot and cold breakfast.

Rated as a four-star hotel, they charge for short local calls and they do not have any amenities in the bathroom whatsoever. Also, they do not have the service to change euros or dollars into Czeck crowns.

The street is a little noisy and the breakfast room is rapidly overcrowded

Great hotel, wonderful location, next to tram stop and metro. Excellent, friendly staff, especially Suzana, at reception, fluent in English and very helpful. Hotel Tyl offers great value for money, will definitely recommend this hotel to anybody visiting Prague. A safe, quiet, warm and friendly hotel for your stay in Prague!

Position of the hotel is very good, easy to access the popular places and the city. It is a clean, comfortable hotel, with quiet rooms (but we were in tha back side of the hotel, it maybe not true on the street side). Because of the early booking with paying, it was valuable for the money.

One thing: there was some loud noise in the room (I think it comes from some kind of machine but not ac) from time afternoon until approx midnight or later.

Well located for lots of sights - not far too walk, but the tube is really close which is even easier. The rooms were very nice, and the beds were very comfy. I didn't see the spa and fitness room, but got the impression it's not something the hotel majors on. The breakfast was good, with lots of options. Overall great price for what it is.

I was staying in the hotel for 9 nights in February, with my sister, and got very nice impression. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the location is central and comfortable for going anywhere by tram or metro (or by foot :)). There are some good and not expensive restaurants in the area surrounding Tylovo Square, and Mini-Tesco supermarket is quite close (on Belehradska street). Our room, facing the courtyard, was cosy, warm and comfortable, and the Wi-Fi Internet connection was fast enough (you have to ask for a code at the reception). Please note that there is a deposit of 500 krones for using the safe box (but you can use euro or dollars)

It would be nice to have fresh fruits and/or vegetables for breakfast, but you can buy them in the super, so it is not a big problem.

Very nice and clean hotel. Helpful reception staff. Close to metro station. Would stay again!
