Our room was lovely: tastefully furnished, spotlessly clean, quiet and overlooking the river and Charles Bridge. The location is excellent being just 100 metres from the Charles Bridge, but in a quiet square so not disturbed by the throngs of tourists. The breakfast was disappointing: limited choice and only uht milk was provided of which I can't stand the taste, so it ruined my coffee and cereal. Otherwise this hotel was perfect for a short visit.

The location of the hotel is absolutely breathtaking! Located within a walkin distance of all main attractions yet surprisingly quiet and peaceful. The rooms were beautiful, cozy, clean and stylish. The staff was wonderful and helpful. My husband and I will definitely be back! Highly recommended! Very romantic getaway! The rooms were small, there is no elevator and the breakfast, although delicious, was very basic, cold cereal, fruit and lunch meat/cheese cuts with bread. Would like to see hot breakfast (eggs) and a selection of famous Czech pastries :-)

This is a cute little hotel and its location on a quiet square just by Charles bridge is excellent due to sightseeing. I got the feeling of a hostel because of the small entrance and reception, but keep in mind it is a small hotel with only a few rooms. Although the room I had was fairly big, nice furnished and clean with a comfortable firm and big bed. Shower and bathroom, just perfect. Great WiFi. The staff was friendly and helpful and fulfilled my wishes to have a room with view. To me the breakfast was a little poor. I didn't get the 4* feeling in general, mostly because of its size I think, which is not fair. A tip is to visit their homepage to get an idea.

The location was fantastic and the view of the Charles Street Bridge wonderful - and the front of the hotel faced onto a wonderful courtyard with restaurants and shops. The hotel is very quaint, comfortable and quiet and the staff were accommodating. Free Wi-Fi was an unexpected treat as was the fruit plate in our room and the heated tile floors in the bathroom. The amazing clock in the lobby stairwell was so appreciated, especially as the Astronomical Clock was out-of-order. The staff were willing to help with whatever was needed and the breakfast spread was lovely. We slept with our windows open - but had to get up each night and close them as people were rowdy on the bridge! But, once the double-paned windows were closed, all was good.

Room 4 is quite spacious. The decor is warm color and bright. The location is in the hub of all major attractions. The reception area is small, which makes me feel that this is a hostel. The price is a little high given that this is a basic hotel. During our stay the hot water was not supplied for around 18 hours. The mattress was too soft and my back hurt when I woke up in the morning.

Loved the location. It was convenient to everything. Their restaurant for dinner outside by the river was really good. I had one of my favorite top dinners there. And their breakfast was great. Staff was great. Would stay there again for sure.

I loved this hotel. The staff is realy special. Thank you girls. It is newly renovated hotel 10m from Vlatava and Karlov most. Very quite in the night.I wil lhighly recomend it. The hotel is situated in the small beautifull square with lot of very nice restaurants. The breakfast is quite basic, but with fantastic fresh fruit. If I want to be picsome I will ask for a pencile and paper in the room, as well a list of satelite programs which are not scrambled. They have a satelite with 900 chaneles and no list of the one which you can watch. And if you want a real quite night sleep, do not take rooms 1 and 2, you can here people and stuff talking in the loby - the doors have no sound insulation.

The hotel is just perfect! Old, nice, renovated building, perfect location (just near the bridge, and when i wright "near the bridge" - I really mean it, it is 30m!), stuff, rooms - everything is perfect. We were lucky and have got the room with the view on the river - so we were really happy. The best hotel for this price in Prague! Privat Parking places under the bridge. Супер отель. могу только рекомендовать, лучший за эти деньги в центре Праги. The only what was not perfect but "good" was breakfast, but it would be too much for such price ;) so I give 10 to this hotel anyway.

Location is perfect - it hardly can be better - as is the ambiance of the hotel. Perfect for a romantic trip, for being in the heart of the city, but also for getting a unique feel of its history-if one only has the imagination. All was perfect, the best New Year's stay so far.

the hotel was beautiful and its location is excellent.Nothing was too much trouble for the staff especially Lucy and Martina, who both always had a smile. We had a beautiful room that over looked the Charles Bridge. The buffet breakfast was fresh and plentiful.I will definately recommend your hotel to all my friends, work colleauges etc, and hope to stay there again later this year. The only thing that was lacking for myself was tea/coffee making facilities in the room,i think it is a british thing!! However the girls made us a drink and brought it to our room on request, but please a small kettle etc in the rooms would make this gem of a hotel perfect.

Friendly and efficient staff. The hotel is in an excellent location, within yards of the Charles Bridge yet on the quieter side of the river. The room we had faced the river and had super views. The room was comfortable and clean. The hotel, whilst small, was everthing we as a couple could have wanted for our short stay in Prague. Probably not suitable for children but would thoroughly recommend it to couples of any age. I have no complaints about the hotel.

“The position of Hotel was excellent, under the tower, which is what Pod Vezi means. The room we stayed in was perfect. It had a sitting area, a large bedroom and bathroom and was at the back of the hotel, so was incredibly quiet. We stayed over Christmas and ate in the restaurant on Christmas Eve and Christmas day. The food was fantastic and the restaurant a lovely place to eat. The staff at the hotel could not have been more helpful and such genuinely lovely people, made us feel valued guests. If you are visiting Prague, then you would not be disappointed if you stayed at Hotel Pod Vezi.” Alan, Retford, Nottinghamshire |
