Hotel Rott is centrally located on the historic Male Namesti (Little Square), next to the famous Old Town Square. It has elegant, air-conditioned rooms and a modern restaurant.
Score from 1316 reviews Excellent
A good hotel in an excellent location, close to the Old Town Square but also near to some of the quieter streets. There are some good bars, cafes and resturants within a few minutes walk. Rooms are comfortable, clean and spacious. The breakfast is served in the basement restaurant which was reasonably good although there was no toast available and the coffee was terrible! Staff all spoke fairly good english and were friendly and helpful. Overall, a good choise for a tourist if you want a hotel in the heart of the Stare Mesto district.
Ask for a room on the inside which are quiet, I suspect that the ones on the street could be rather noisy as they are on busy streets.
Location, very good value for money and big room
The location of this hotel is perfect but quiet at night.
Charm, location, breakfast
Small shower Minimal lobby area
Very close to everything. Helpful staff. Great room overlooking the street. Spacious room. I love the Bohemia Glass shop at the reception... convenient. Room was cleaned daily.
Noisy at times but the streets were full of life and character... l wore ear plugs to minimize this because l like to leave the window open a little.
Brilliant Location near the Charles bridge and old city. Clean Quality Rooms Nice Helping staff
- Location - central. - Really good breakfast. - Our room was nice, big and very cozy.
- Noise from the street early in the morning.
Huge living space. Very clean. Very modern. Central to the Prague Old Town square. Everything was a 5 minute walk away.
Location could not be better as so close to the Old Town Square and Charles Bridge in the heart of the touristic area. Staff were friendly and very helpful.
Breakfast was included and not optional but was quite basic buffet with a fair but not excellent choice. If you opened the room windows to let in some fresh air there was a lot of noise from the busy street, although that is to be expected from such a central location and there is excellent sound proofing when the windows are shut.
The hotel was absolutely lovely, we got a good deal and everything was exactly as it was meant to be, no problems with anything. The place seemed a little understaffed at times but the staff were absolutely lovely and nothing was too much effort. The location of the hotel is incredible and the room was extremely large and very comfortable. Would recommend to anyone.
The breakfast was not to my tastes, but that may just have been me. Lovely bread though. Not the most facilities ever to be fair, and the shops selling glassware on the first two were a surprise to me, though it seems not so unusual in Prague!
Perfect location, 1 minute walk from the old town square and very close to the charles bridge. Rooms are comfortable and neat. Personnel speaks fluent english and meet any need of the customers promptly. Restaurant in which breakfast is also served has a very good atmosphere.
Some of the rooms do not have an elevator. It did not constitute a problem for me, but for those with children or disabled, you should make sure that your room is on the block which has an elevator.
Can't beat the location. Included breakfast was very good.
Rooms with two single beds were substantially smaller than the other rooms. This was my room and the large windows opened to a landing with a ladder leading up to it. We felt very unsafe as a result. When we expressed our concern and asked to be moved reception told us to just open the windows higher up (that would have been ok if we were 10 feet tall!!) No air conditioning so room was extremely hot.
Perfect location- very close to the places to see in the center and around it. Very good staff, helpful, friendly. The great choise for breakfast.
Everything about this hotel is apt and wonderful, highly recommended.
The hotelhas a great location, great rooms, service, restaurant... in summary, absolutely recommended
staffs for breakfast
central location good value for money comfortable & spacious room a tasty and full of variety breakfast buffet
- rooms are very spacious, staff was very friendly and helpful hotel it's direct in the heart of Old-Prague (Prague 1) and just 2 mins walk from the Central Market Staroměstské náměstí
entrance - you have to go through a kinda shopping mall - in the beginning of our stay a little bit confusing
It feels like a stately home. Our triple bedroom (Room 7) had two bedrooms. Exquisitely decorated, plenty of storage space. Staff were great; the day-time receptionist was especially helpful. Downstairs the hotel has a quite posh restaurant (which is where they serve breakfast) and an artisan bakery (which supplies the breakfast). One of the best breakfast I've ever had.
Ask for a room on the top floor if possible. It gets quite noisy outside in the summer as most rooms overlook a very busy street (on the flipside, the hotel is located bang in the centre of activity). The windows do a decent job of cutting out the noise, but you lose that the moment you have to open the windows. I was with elderly parents (60+) and had no complaints about this. Don't let the noise keep you away.
Really nice and very good situated hotel. Tasty breakfast. There is no possibility to arrive with the car directly at the hotel due to the fact that its the strict citg center. But don't worry! It's much better and cheaper to use one of the P+R Parkings for example at the metro station Skalka line A.
We had a room at the 6th floor. At night it is very loud. You can hear everything what is going on the street. Lot of drunk tourist shouting and singing in the streets woke me up several times. Better to take ear plugs.
Right in the old town, clean, staff helpful/friendly. Food very good. Rooms clean. Great value for money
Nothing concerning the hotel. Be aware of the taxis, as a tourist they over charge!!
Coffee machine in the room. Providing city map without any demand. Smiling face. No noice during night.
The location which is very close to the old town square, so i could go walk around there right after check in the room. The breakfast was amazing. i liked the bread there:)
The key for room was quite difficult for me who are not familiar to this kind of old fashioned room key to use.
Even though the "hotel" is only rooms in separate buildings, the facilities are very good and the owners and staff seem to have a good idea of what the tourists needs are in Cesky Krumlov.
I would prefer a fridge in the room rather than to share one in a common area adjacent to the stairs.
